After the meal I ordered a milkshake to go as did several others standing around the register. The hostess jotted down the orders on a slip of paper and handed it to a guy behind the bar. I offered to pay, she declined. Said " pay at the bar." Shakes would come out and sit while the bartender tried to track down who ordered what then took payment. As the shakes say there melting. “We have been here several times over the past year and the food and service has always been the same-- great! We have never had a bad experience or meal. We have also had take out and love the special holders for tacos that keep them upright. All of employees have been polite and friendly. We have not experienced any of them acting stressed or in a rush. Mercedes is such a great bartender. She helps to select the best drafts with her knowledge of each one. I love it when someone knows their IPA's! She is also a delight to talk to and makes us feel so welcome. The happy hour lasts until 7pm! We’re paying about the same as one of Chicago’s best burger spots, but I usually leave there full. I never leave burghers full even though I finish my burger and fries. I don’t know what it is, I think the burger is not as filling as it looks? But it’s really good don’t get me wrong lol not a big fan of their beer, haven’t had one that I like that much yet. I’m more of an 11th Hour girl. But yes good experience overall and their smashed burger was way better than I thought it would be! Whoever is making these in the kitchen is doing a great job. They take pride in their craft, job well done!
