“This Applebee's is emblematic of what's good about this chain...cozy, comfortable atmosphere, good food that is reliable, and mostly friendly service. We had mostly appetizers tonight, the pretzels, crunchy Asian chicken tacos, and this new wavy crispy potato appetizer that was fabulous. Tonight our server was a bit stretched, so the manager helped out. The prices are reasonable also. If you want familiar and fun, then Applebee's is your place!“

“I stopped at this location after shopping at Lowe’s for maintenance supplies, I figured I grab lunch on my way back to my work location in New Kensington . “Look, this is basically the better end of fast food pizza. They have the traditional ceramic 1000 degree ovens and one guy on shift (I assume because it wasn't Fri ir Sat night) doing his absolute best. It's a tiny little shop with no seats tucked into a corner of the Golden Mile.

But the dough was excellent, the pizza perfectly cooked and the guy was nice as he!! on the phone and in person.

The cheese is above average, the toppings just enough and they have a deal for orders over $25 that get a free 2L if you pay cash. Get some extra toppings and drink.

But good golly the parking, lol. Easily a 35degree grade in the closest spots, make sure your parking brake is in order or use the other set of spaces that don't require a sherpa.
Heaven help you if you want to head north after getting your pie.They may even have a sign telling you not to turn left, but who can be bothered?

I'm a pizza snob, but this is solid local that stops far enough short of mass market that I recommend.

“A recent drop off at the UPS store lead me to an impromptu lunch decision. The aroma outside the shop drew me in to Mama Pepino’s for the first time today. I was greeted by the friendly owner, who took my counter/take out order and quickly prepared what is probably the BEST steak hoagie I have enjoyed from a pizza shop in quite some time. I ordered it exactly as it was listed on the menu. The owner did mention they bake their own hoagie rolls fresh and even after the 20 minute car ride home it held up very well and was still warm. But I’d be remiss to not mention the abundance of steak and toppings that hoagie bun held - very tasty and filling. With trends of prices rising and portions shrinking - THIS sandwich is a robust bite and good value! I know now to keep Mama Pepino’s on my radar when I am in the Irwin area.“

“Hands down one of the best Burger Kings I’ve been to. First impressions, it’s an incredibly clean and quiet restaurant with friendly staff and quick service. Me and my partner’s food came out in no time, and upon opening my burger, I saw that it was one of the most beautiful burgers I’ve ever seen, (pictured below). Not only did it look great, it tasted great too. The fries were crispy and fresh, and sodas were good as expected. Thanks guys!“

“My brother his girlfriend and I stopped in on 6/23/26 for the all you can eat shrimp.
Ive had this at different locations before like Altoona and state college and they treat you like ive been there too long and disappear for 15 minutes at a time.
But this time at the pgh mills our waitress (Shaylynn) was amazing and made up for all the bad experiences I've had before. She was attentive, sweet, kind and funny wrapped up in one.
If you get a chance ask for her.
I hope she sticks around for awhile, because of her i will go back again.

But it's McRib time and they are the only McDs in Westmoreland that has it at this point. I really dreaded going to this location. But the employees and food was above expectations. “The staff (manager Dwayne and server Heather) were great and went above and beyond. The only dim part was when first being seated. I asked for a booth and the server with the red hair took us to the bench/table. She asked if it was ok I said no that I had asked for a booth and she made a face and then moved us to a booth.

Vegetarian options: The staff is willing to substitute a veggie burger when asked. There are other items that can have items taken out as needed.“

“One of the cleanest Burger Kings I've ever been in! Plenty of booths & tables. Ample parking. They had a coloring station for the kids with crayons & pages. They even hung up some of their artwork. My kids were so excited to stop at this McDonald’s specifically because it had a second floor! We have never seen one! It’s the little things in life really..

We ordered on the kiosk and received our food in a timely manner. Food was very good! Workers were pleasant and served with a smile. Fries were fresh! Fun happy meal toys!

Stairs to the upstairs had a few sticky marks, but overall, the restaurant was very clean on both floors. It was nice having a second floor away from the rush. Nice and quiet.

We really enjoyed our visit! Would definitely return!

“Never have a problem with the drive-thru. When going in for food, there were no employees at the registers. We waited more than 5 minutes without a single acknowledgement that anyone knew we were there. We were just about to leave when we were finally waited on.“
