“At the time of writing this, Alta Via has an average rating of 3.7 and I cannot, for the life of me, fathom why. The food was fantastic and served quickly. The portions are generous, and the pricing for a half vs full is linear (half portion is exactly half the price) which is not typical-you’re usually charged a bit more than half in restaurants. Our service was great; Anna was attentive and took questions to help us navigate the menu. The atmosphere is just right with respect to volume and very tidy. Somehow they made the seating comfortable yet fine and all pleasing to the eye. The pricing is deeply reasonable-our meal would have been $100 if not for the wine bottle, and that’s an appetizer, four half portion entrees, and desert. The food is creative, and entrees have been crafted carefully and thoughtfully. Frankly, it’s just way too nice to be that close to a Primantis.“

“Attended a funeral at RJ Slaters funeral home, 12 of us went there between viewing times and had great service and the food order was done quickly. Everyone enjoyed their food and the people from Virginia never even seen a whole chicken wing. It was a great weather day and a few of us even walked the block to get there..“

“I had ordered memorial chimes with flower arragment at bottom. It was so beautiful and Jennifer was so very helpful and wonderful to work with even over the phone. After the flower arragment was done she sent me a text of what it looked like and it was awsome. I will definitely go there again and highly recommend this place . “It was a nice little place. I dont do large crowds and this place definitely isnt big enough to get giant crowds, tho I could see it getting packed. Bartender Kelly was fantastic, talkative & funny. She's a very sweet lady. The crowd was small, Met a few nice ppl and Kelly had my back when sketchy men approached me. “This is a bar where you get some of the best bar food around. The drinks are reasonably priced and very strong. Another thing I like is the pool tables and the bar is very roomy so you can move around without being shoulder to shoulder and they also have DJ's on the weekends.“

“My family recently held a wake in the event room at Cornerstone. The room was spacious, attractive, and comfortable. Loved the old tin ceiling. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The restaurant modified recipes and presentation to accommodate food restrictions. The icing on the (cup)cake was the waitstaff, who were attentive without being overbearing, efficient, and more than pleasant. Highly recommend.

Vegetarian options: Our buffet menu included vegetarian pasta, salad, green beans with shallots, roasted fingerling potatoes, and bread and butter. The restaurant menu provides several veggie options, including a veggie burger and veggie omelets.

Dietary restrictions: Accommodations were made for dairy, carrot, and nut allergies, as well as gluten restrictions. The whole family was able to eat delicious food safely.

Kid-friendliness: They made one young guest buttered noodles when the buffet options were not to his 5 year old taste.“
