“My husband and I have been going to the Village Inn for many years now. Everything we have eaten there has been so delicious from sandwiches to great Italian Food . My favorite is the stuffed crabmeat mushroom appetizer, bruschetta and Chicken Romano. The meatballs and pasta are so good. My favorite dessert is the Tiramisu. I highly recommend the Verona Village Inn.“

“Huge portion sizes, delicious food, great service, and I feel like I'm at the beach! I'll definitely keep coming back. Barefoot is definitely a hidden gem here in Gilpin. I've never had an issue with the service, and the staff is quick to keep your drinks filled. And I feel like I'm getting the best bang for my buck, in regards to the portions. I hope it continues, and I look forward to future trips.“

“I just got the Fish Fry food and let me tell you!!!! The fish sammich with lettuce and American cheese was awesome but then I ate the Haluski and that was made with some love! Homemade noodles, just the right dose of butter! The crab cakes are excellent. Every Friday fish from here.“

The seasoning is the best part, I always ask for extra in addition to buying a side of it so I can cover everything in it 🤣 I’ve tried quite a few of their seafood options- shrimp, cod, perch, catfish filet & nuggets- and have never been disappointed by any of them. The pick 2 combo with shrimp and catfish nuggets is my go-to though, best catfish I’ve ever had.
