“I have been going to Chen's for the past couple years and it has never once disappointed. I am not even vegitarian or vegan, but this is without question the best chinese food i have ever had. The flavoring along with the way the food is cooked is just next level.Kid-friendliness: The owner asks about my daughter every time i go in to pick up an order and is always so welcoming when we come in as a family.“
“We have lived in Reading for 3 years. We were especially surprised with the sheer quality and authenticity in their food. Our go to is the Seafood Noodle Soup with Chicken Wings and Crab Rangoon. The soup is incredibly clean and the portion is so plentiful. Their wings are probably the best Chinese restaurant wings I've had. The wings have this distinct flavors and crunch where other restaurants won't cut it. The crab rangoons are so good and have little to no grease. I sometimes ordered beef chow fun whenever I went for just myself before working a 2nd shift and it's also extremely good and authentic. The staff is really nice and are courteous to guests. We came back to visit reading for the weekend after a year. I can say that the quality has not diminished in the slightest. Please give them a try!“
“The cleanliness and display of this buffet is on point! Different sections in the restaurant offer a unique touch to every area! The food is amazing with a wide variety of hot foods, desserts and a live hibachi cook, you will not leave hungry or disappointed.Vegetarian options: There is a huge selection for the vegetarians!Parking: Huge open selection free parking lot!Kid-friendliness: A great selection for the kids who just want chicken nuggets and fries!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessable the whole way through!“
“This place is amazing. They give so much food that they have to staple the takeout box closed. I haven't gotten one thing here that I haven't loved. So good!Parking: Medium sized shared lot with other businesses. Very full but parking always available.“
“Placed a larger size online order the other day and was extremely impressed with the customer service! They marked every item with the name, which I put in the notes on the order, and they even provided free egg rolls. Everything was ready on time. I had to deduct one star because I didn't taste a hint of spice on my entree that was requested to be very spicy, so that was my only disappointment.Overall very pleased and will visit again. Some of the best pricing for Chinese food that I have seen in the area too!“
“My wife and I would always go to this place if we wanted Chinese takeout. The older couple there are the best and they really pack the takeout plates. The food there is like no other we’ve been to so far. It’s been cash only every time we went but they have an atm in the store. The food is amazing and we miss it since we moved out of state. Hope one day I can go back because I haven’t found another place like it. Very worth it especially if you want some food fast and don’t want to make anything.“
“So far I've had their General Tso's chicken & chicken lo mein. They were both good. I agree with some other reviews that suggest the food is on the bland side. My General Tso's was not spicy. I asked for my lo mein to be spicy and it was perfect. I think their prices and wait times are reasonable. The young lady who takes the orders and takes payment is very nice. Definitely worth checking out!“
“We enjoyed the food and relaxing dining in experience so much recently, we just happened to be drawn back today.Great people and small dining room still felt like a relaxing time to us. I really mean it when I say they are great people in this small restaurant. And dine in is awesome!!!!Thank you all at No.1 Chinese Restaurant ❤️“
“Chicken is super tender, broccoli is nicely steamed, and rice is always consistently good. They have the absolute best egg rolls. Also, there’s many seafood options off the menu that are extremely delicious, including their sesame shrimp. ?“
“The food was good. I had the Samarai Special which is chicken, filet, and shrimp. The staff is nice but our chef was coughing over our food, without covering his mouth, while cooking which is why I only gave 3 stars on service. Maybe the steam was getting to him, I don’t know, but still gross. Don’t expect an extravagant show that you may find at commercial hibachi chain restaurants, but they still add some humor in to the mix. Overall I would still come back.“
“The most consistent and delicious Chinese food around. Other places can have their food vary in taste from one day to another but China Fun is great every time. Their pork fried rice is my partner's favorite go-to and their veggie lo-main is perfect every time. The (pork) egg rolls are great, too! It absolutely CAN take up to an hour to get delivery on busy days (weekends, holidays) but the food always arrives hot and delicious no matter what.?Vegetarian options: The vegetable lo-main is a good choice.“
“The owners are always nice, they work hard. The food is good & hot.Vegetarian options: I order the mixed vegetable or chinese mixed veg. The broccoli in garlic sauce, large vegetable soup. They have other things you can choose and, steamed options as well.“
“Went there on a Thursday at 3pm and ordered in person. Only the older guy who is the cook was there. I think the reason why these people are so abrupt on the phone (that everyone complains about) is because they can BARELY speak and/or understand English. ? But I will tell you that he chopped up my vegetables fresh and my MuShu Pork was absolutely delicious! ? Then when I got in my car, I realized I didn't have any rice. When I went back inside, he indicated that it doesn't come with rice, only the 5 pancakes (which btw, wasn't authentic, but instead, 5 sheets of egg roll wrappers). Anyway, he gave me a free container of rice - and I think that was nice! These are basically nice people who work hard every day. They are talented but can't communicate very well (especially on the phone), so be advised if you need to ask very specific questions, or have dietary restrictions.Parking: They share the parking lot with Rita's ice cream store, and the Chinese restaurant is not easily visible depending on the direction you approach it from.“
“this food was very good. it provided everything we asked for, and got order correct. was clean and decorated well. loved the fish tanknow the bad part, the guy behind the counter who severed us when we walked in to get the food was uncomfortable to be around. I brought my 2 granddaughters and he talked to my one, and called her ''beautiful'' and preceded to ask if she was my granddaughter and continued to stare and call her ''pretty''.we liked the food very much but the chicken was a little dry andshould of had more sauce. the dumplings were very sticky and hard to pull apart. rice was ok, lomein was good but was cut in small piece's. eggroll was greasy but eh. chopsticks were cheap feeling. but that was my experience at Hong Kong.Dietary restrictions: had many no dairy, gluten free, and peanut free optionsParking: okKid-friendliness: guy was very involved with how pretty granddaughter was. which she is i guessWheelchair accessibility: there was parking spots and had no stairs“
“We got sweet and sour chicken, fried dumplings, chicken lo main and an egg roll. The sweet and sour chicken and white rice was on par with anywhere else, good chicken with crunchy outside. The lo main was also delicious. The egg rolls were a little different than ones I've had but they were good. The only thing that wasn't all that good were the dumplings which were a little doughy at times and had an interesting filling, the sauce was good. Solid chinese takeout place with dine in as well at a suitable price.“
“First time getting food here and it was really good! I got sesame chicken, shrimp egg foo young and chicken and eggplant in garlic sauce. I loved everything. Everyone was really friendly and nice taking my order and delivering it. Also, very reasonable priced. I will definitely order from here again! Thank you for a pleasant experience!“
