“Only been there for breakfast: typical diner-style food, but it came hot and was very good, and comes with free-flowing hot coffee. Sausage links are good. Smoked sausage is also a breakfast item and it's delicious. Staff is awesome! Friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is homey: early morning regulars are very nice people. Between the staff, regulars, and the food it makes for an enjoyable way to start the day. I highly recommend this diner for individuals who are comfortable sitting at the counter or at a small table. I do not recommend this diner for large families (of more than 4) or for large groups unless prior arrangements or you call before you come. as there are a limited number of tables and the diner can become very crowded. “Food was very good, had an omelette breakfast plate, home fries were cooked well with some crunchy edges, omelette had lots of ingredients in it. Waitress came took order, dropped check off before food, brought food and never came back, was your typical great diner food. Crazy busy at 11pm at night.“

The booths are surprisingly small and the owners stand at the register and yammer back at forth at each other but the food was good and ready in a flash. The omelet seemed unusually small- 2 eggs vs 3?- but it was good. The homefries were great and the French ghosts were great. Service was super friendly and fast.“

“Stopped for dinner on a whim on a Friday evening, mostly because the sign said "Breakfast 5am-11pm" and we're suckers for an all day breakfast.Place was hopping, but we were seated quickly. Food was fantastic and came out quickly, as well as being huge portions. Partner had Chunky Monkey pancakes with sausage that he raved about; I had the Pot Roast French Dip with corn fritters as a side, and it was everything I wanted in a diner meal.Seems like a well-run place; everything looked to be running smoothly and the staff all seemed comfortable with the level of customers. Definitely plan to stop by again when we're in the area!“

I go here often enough and I have had days where things where off but then again I've had that happen everywhere . The food here is good , good price, and the staff is friendly and fast.“

“EXTRAORDINARY! Our first visit was yesterday but trust and believe it will not be our last. We are from out of town and this was a wonderful old fashioned surprise! Everything is homemade and fresh! We even ordered dinner and dessert to take home later that day!“

“Some people think of Denny's as a place you end up when you can't choose. I must say I'm glad I actually chose this Denny's. The dish I ordered was spicy as advertised and so packed with flavor it was amazing. It was a huge portion and I took some home. All three of us enjoyed our food. The wait staff were all courteous and efficient. The dining room appeared to be a bit understaffed but the two on duty were running like mad to keep everyone happy. (She got a good tip for the hustle I witnessed even though I waited a little for some things.) All in all surprisingly great food and good service. I really recommend this York location in particular.“

“Have visited here often. Always liked the food. Service was excellent! Had soup & side salad. Salad was not fresh. Lots of brown lettuce & very small amt. Cream of seafood soup was good. Could have used some more flavor! Server mentioned how slow they had been. Perhaps customers are not happy & going elsewhere? Hope this restaurant returns to excellent food like when they first opened. Would hate to see this nice restaurant be forced to close over reduced customer interest in the future????“

“Ita a Denny's not Ruth's Chris, but from what you'd expect at a well-priced and always open restaurant, it's plenty fine, gets the job done, and has a fair selection and variety.Staff is generally pretty attentive and the wait times are usually less than estimated. Orders are generally made correctly and I haven't had any particular issues any time we've dined here.“
