“My husband and I visited The Old Farmhouse Tea room this past Saturday 2/10/2024. It was just the 2 of us out on a date. Our server Katelyn (not sure if that's how her name is spelled) wad VERY NICE and professional and walked us through everything. The food was great, the service was FANTASTIC, and she was kind enough to take a picture of us. We hope to visit again, and next time we'll try the dinner option? And try and bring some friends with us. THANK YOU for making our date a memorable one. ?“
“Right on 30. Awesome bartenders. Clean rooms. Not sure why the negative comments. This please is the longest business in business still in thomasville. A must go to! It’s like cheers. May be a “hole in the wall” but it’s kept old school and the feeling is just cozy.“
“We have been going to the Glen Rock Mill Inn for many years. Since Brandon acquired the restaurant, it has been elevated to a beautiful, dining experience. The food is delicious and unique. The wait staff is polite, attentive and cheerful. The decor is lovely plus very clean, and well laid out. We recently were there for our 53rd wedding anniversary. We did not include that information in the reservation, but somehow they knew. It was very touching and so thoughtful.“
“I recently dined at this location and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The server, Julie, was wonderful. Attentive and informative, while being unobtrusive. The ribs and baked beans were quite good. The baked beans had huge tender pieces of pork in them. I kind of wish I had ordered a plate of those! The little things, like refilling water and providing extra napkins and wipes, were attended to without interrupting the table. We had great service. Sometimes, even with a good meal, the service can make it a not-so-good experience. Prices have gone up since the last time I was here, but I left feeling as though I got my money’s worth. This was just a nice meal out.“
“Superb food in a comfortable, upscale setting. I would make this one of my restaurants of choice for business meetings. I ordered the grouper and a Caesar salad. The fish was perfectly baked and seasoned, flaky and moist. The waiter brought my party a whole carafe of lemon water. Our seats by the window ensured our conversation wasn't overwhelmed by other restaurant patrons. No complaints. I'm looking forward to sampling some of their other dishes.“
“I was impressed with my experience today. The food was delicious with a good portion and a really good menu price. The place looks great and has good WiFi for customers. Very happy with the service as well. Keep up the good work. I will definitely come back.“
“During Lent Season, we frequent Big Mike's Crabhouse on a Friday, typically late afternoon. We try to beat the crowd, as this restaurant is not that big, but the seafood is absolutely delicious! Service is always excellent!!!! Big Mike's is a very relaxed atmosphere! They are a BYOB, so you can bring your favorite adult beverages if you choose to do so!!! If you choose to have an entree, but do not wish to have the sides, they will adjust the price! I love their cod fish (2 pieces), but don't always want the French fries, etc., they will serve you just the fish and adjust your bill accordingly. The pound of shrimp is always cooked to perfection, we have our shrimp served with melted butter and cocktail sauce, so delicious!!! If you're in Hanover and love seafood, stop by!!!!“
“The Roosevelt is known for fine dining. But they also happen to have one of the best burgers you could ever experience. By far the best in york but honestly it's in competition with the best anywhere you go. The meat they use is just perfect and the bun is fluffy and amazing. Every bits is like...damn that's good...“
“Service was great considering how crowded the place was. The waitress was quick and attentive. My dissapointment came in the misrepresented chicken Chesapeake. I asked for no cheese, not a big deal, when it came out with cheese I asked to have it fixed. No problem, it came back out with no cheese. Now it's naked crab meat on a chicken breast. I asked the sender who delivered it where is the imperial sauce ? The menu says it has it ? He took it back to the kitchen, came back out and said this is how they make it. Well the menu says it has imperial sauce on it ? Which is one of the yummy ingredients I was expecting. False advertising.... I'd try the place again, just wish the menu was correct.“
“We stopped in for our lunch and the food was great! We had the liver and onions, that the liver was so easy to cut with a knife. We also got the broastwd chicken and it was so moist! And we took dessert home to eat. The waitress was amazing. She was friendly and very cheerful and made our visit wonderful. We will come back again!“
“Been a favorite of mine for 20+ years the food is out of this world. Best country fried steak breakfast you could ever have. Absolutely love the turkey over stuffing with gravy and mash potatoes and cakes and steaks and shakes. If you are traveling through I'd suggest trying breakfast lunch and dinner if your around for a while!“
“I live in Maryland and was visiting a friend in the area. Wanted pizza, found this place on google and it was close, so we decided to try it. We ended up getting strombolis. The staff was amazing, and the food was outstanding! Very reasonably priced and giant portions! We already decided to come back next time I visit and we're trying the pizza lol. We ate inside and the staff was very nice and personable. Highly recommend!Parking: Plenty of parking“
“This is our fourth time at Sidney. Each time has been unique and fantastic! I had the monkfish upon recommendation of our server (who was awesome) and it was beyond my expectations. I'm just sorry we don't live closer. We will be back the next time we are in Gettysburg!“
“Stopped by on way to Virginia. Ordered Tuna nachos, CSB Burger, and Kids cheese pizza . The appetizer was excellent and tuna fresh. My burger was more than a handful. The grandson pizza was just right. Prices reasonable and worth a stop. Detour off Rt 15 and you will not be sorry for lunch. Don’t forget the history behind this tavern since 1763 continually run.Kid-friendliness: No issues with a 3 yr old“
“The food is awesome! We shared a bacon cheeseburger quesadilla and three chicken tacos. It was delicious and was just the right amount of food to share for lunch. The guy taking our order was helpful with his recommendations. We had to wait a bit for the food since they were busy, but it was worth it!“
“My husband I went here today in hopes to have a nice lunchtime meal. They tried sitting us at a super tiny high top table that was smashed up against an older couple at a low top table and we asked for another table in which they accommodated (my husband is 6'2 and 250lbs).Had a wonderful waitress who was attentive and refreshing.Ordered the tuna as an appetizer and it was delish. Kind of hard to mess that kind of dish up! My husband ordered the French onion soup which he said was really salty but he ate it with the bread. They had a cayenne honey butter available for the bread but I didnt particularly enjoy it. All i tasted was the cayenne after taste and really no honey or butter. I ordered the portabella mushroom entree which was really really good. He had the meatloaf which was good but he said wasn't worth the $24 price.Apologies for not taking pics of the entrees.“
“Second time here and continues to be very good. I had crab cakes and they were excellent. The crab soup was very good. I like supporting small local places like this. The bar is separate so no cigarette smoke at all in dining area. We will be back.“
“First time we have ever been to this restaurant and we plan on going back! Food was DELICIOUS! Our server was so sweet and friendly. Our table was weirdly sticky and she did everything she could to clean it. She ended up moving us to another table after finding out the varnish on the table sits in the sun causing the stickiness. Regardless, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Will definitely be back!“
“I have yet to have a bad experience at Cheddar's. The food is great and I love that they have a vegetable platter as a vegetarian menu option. It's a very affordable way to actually get a full meal as a vegetarian. The prices are reasonable and the adult beverages are excellent as well.I love ordering to-go family size options on busy nights and they are all priced fairly well.Their honey butter croissants are wonderful, and they have the most delicious ranch dressing for their salads!!My only complaint is that they stopped adding chopped egg to their salads, and also that sometimes when you order to-go they forget or choose not to include the croissants.Vegetarian options: They have a vegetable plate that includes 4 sides of vegetables or starches and also includes a salad.“
“one of my absolute favorite restaurants! love the atmosphere, amazing food and fun drinks. my friends and i always look forward to the new menus and love trying all of the different and unique menu items & drinks! awesome staff - our favorite server Tyler is OUTSTANDING. competent, attentive and always making us laugh, creating a very enjoyable experience every time. already can't wait for my next visit!“
“Stopped for dinner on a whim on a Friday evening, mostly because the sign said "Breakfast 5am-11pm" and we're suckers for an all day breakfast.Place was hopping, but we were seated quickly. Food was fantastic and came out quickly, as well as being huge portions. Partner had Chunky Monkey pancakes with sausage that he raved about; I had the Pot Roast French Dip with corn fritters as a side, and it was everything I wanted in a diner meal.Seems like a well-run place; everything looked to be running smoothly and the staff all seemed comfortable with the level of customers. Definitely plan to stop by again when we're in the area!“
“BEST fresh food. Been coming here for years. It's a regular lunch spot of mine. The employees are so so friendly. I always get a side of ranch and they go out of their way to remember that I get the extra ranch on the side. Talk about customer service. If you're thinking about trying it, just go you won't regret it. The ingredients are always fresh and it's the same every time. I have never had a bad wrap or salad. I have also ordered on door dash and again just amazing. Thank you Lettuce know for offering healthy choices.“
“Lucky Spot Restaurant is a hidden gem for breakfast lovers. While they only serve breakfast on Sundays, one can also get lunch throughout the week! Their food is definitely worth the wait. The restaurant is well-known for its affordable prices and delicious dishes, and I highly recommend trying their gyro omelette. The gyro omelette is a unique and flavorful dish that combines the classic breakfast omelette with the savory taste of gyro meat. The omelette itself is fluffy and cooked to perfection, with generous portions of gyro meat, feta cheese, and tomatoes folded inside. It's served with a side of potatoes and a slice of toast, making for a filling and satisfying breakfast.Aside from the gyro omelette, Lucky Spot also offers a variety of other breakfast items such as pancakes, waffles, and eggs Benedict. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable, making it a great spot for families or groups of friends. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff who are always willing to make recommendations and ensure that you have a great experience. The restaurant is also very clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience.if you're looking for a delicious and affordable breakfast spot, Lucky Spot is definitely worth checking out. While they only serve breakfast on Sundays, their gyro omelette and other dishes are sure to satisfy your cravings and leave you feeling full and happy.Parking is on the street or across in the parking lots. This place is located next to a yoga studio and a cafe, along with a comedy club.“
“The food was very fresh and good. The pancakes now are about 1/3 smaller than they used to be, and the prices of everything have really gone up. For people on fixed incomes, it's not easy to find places to eat out anymore. We would go back.“
“ITS A SIMPLE BAR SMOKE FRIENDLY A BIG PLUS DRINK PRICES ARE PRETTY FAIR PRICED SOME DAYS THEY HAVE FOOD SOME DAYS NOT THERES A BACKROOM WITH MORE SEATS AND TABELS ALSO A TV WITH SPORTS AND CNN SHOWING AT ALL TIMES SOME DAYS THEY HAVE LOCAL PERFORMERS EVENTS THE PLACE FEELS LIKE HOME. I GO HERE VERY OFTEN ...“
“There're several Texas Hot Dog places in Hanover. Don't waste your time with them, head right here. My Dad came here as a child and I'm a 50 year customer. I never go to Hanover without getting a Hot Dog and fries. Best Texas Hot Weiner at a reasonable price. Also very clean an family owned.“
“Always delicious ice cream and a friendly experience! My kids love this place and it's a total bonus that there is a mini golf place right next door so you can just walk over! I love that they always top the ice cream with a little hard pretzel because it gives you that sweet & salty experience!! Thank you Bill Mack!“
“Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon with 5 friends. I can tell you this is good eating.I ordered the Hog Wild Platter. Great flavor on the pulled pork; lightly sweet, smokey and moist. The pit beef was sliced thin and very good. The baked beans were plenty and the slaw cold and crisp. The grilled roll made the perfect foundation for a sandwich. Everything was served as expected; hot hot and cold cold.Parking is on the street and there is plenty of room.Staff along with the owner very all very welcoming. All seating is outdoors. Our weather was perfect but the afternoon sun was a bit in my face the entire time; there are tables with umbrellas, but it would be better if there were more shaded tables. There were also plenty of yellow jackets looking to eat your food and drink your drink. You order at the window, there are only a few menus to go around so get in line. From ordering to delivery was about 20 minutes. Each platter was served in the order received. Don't drink too much while you wait as I will warn you, there are no facilities here for use by the customers; not even a hose bib. After my meal, I asked for a sink and i was given wet wipes. You might know them they are the ones grandmom used to carry.Overall, this is very good BBQ so use the toilet before you get here and do your best not to get messy eating or order aheadand take it to the local park to go eat. Enjoy the food.“
“My husband and I ate here last Thursday. From the outside it doesn't look like much and prior years it was a biker bar but now it's been updated and family friendly. We started with the fried sampler platter. It was loaded with onion rings, mushrooms, jalapeños poppers, and fried pickles. excellent and hot.My husband had the NY strip medium rare with salad and green beans. He enjoyed his meal also had a beer.I had the prime rib queen cut. Rare. The meat was little more cooked than I liked but the meat was seasoned well and tasted good. I had a salad and mashed potatoes with gravy. Our meals came out hot and in good time. Our server was on the spot. All in all a good time!“
“Stopped by again for a weekday lunch - this time we had a Short Rib Grilled Cheese & an Old English Melt .......aaannnd of course the signature basket of chips with Balsamic Vinaigrette drizzle & sprinkled Parm. Could go there for nothing but the chips! But I must say both sandwiches were AWEsome! We made reservations since it was the Monday of Valentine's week but, although busy, the place wasn't slammed. Our server was attentive & everything came out in a timely fashion - love the ambience! Lot of dark wood & copper which lends to the historical feel or the venue (Inn goes back to 1763) - always enjoy stopping in! (still) Highly recommended!“
“Would give 4.5 stars if google would let me. Delicious crepes both savory and sweet. I enjoy the ham and swiss crepe and my wife loves the nutella and fresh strawberry. Lots of other flavors to choose from. Take out only. Lovely people, good food, reasonable prices. Try it out!“
