But you have to get down there early because they sell out of pizza often.

“My dad had this bomb food catered for a family event and this place just secured a bunch of new customers. For the 30+ ppl, each tray tasted homemade - like your family was serving the family classics. We had the most tender n juicy ribs (Carolina gold - 🔥), wings 🔥, mac 🔥, greens🔥, cornbread🤤.... and here's the best part - it wasn't heavy at all. You know it's good when them to-go plates were packed and there was nothing left! That's what I'm talkin bout. Will definitely be back soon!“

“We've been eating at Esta Esta for many years. The restaurant and bar are very inviting and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is excellent, especially the steaks, shrimp and appetizers. Drinks are fantastic and you can eat at a table or in the bar.“

“We needed a place that had power during the wind storm to feed our kids and actually called asking if they had a kids menu they said yes and even told us what was on it over the phone. We ended up going the kids got chicken, fries and applesauce. Husband and I got salmon and swordfish both vary good, the bread was good,my salad was good husband said the house dressing was a little strong but still good. The waitresses were all great and super friendly. Even the customers were all friendly. “The owner was extremely friendly and made me feel welcomed. I told him I was in town visiting and that Wilkinsburg is my hometown but I live in FL. He was so kind and asked about how we did during the recent hurricane that had just passed. We exchanged information because I told him he’d be a huge hit here in central Florida. “The service was fantastic! She was friendly, efficient, and patient with our table. I guess we picked the wrong day for a big group. It was their wing night. It was very busy. They had us sitting in front of the fireplace, which was very hot, and we were really crammed at our table. The appetizers were delicious, but my main course was a bit bland. I had the fettuccine with vodka sauce. It tasted much better as a leftover with garlic powder and parmesan cheese over it.“

“I arrived not long after they opened and I received the BEST meal I have ever had at a LJS. I've been a loyal customer for decades and since it is harder to find locations I go out of my way when I travel to get my fix.
The employee who packed my order was super kind and as I said the food was delicious.
My only issue is the condition of the store. And honestly this complaint goes for a number of locations left in the area. The store is in BAD shape. I've worked in food service for over 35 years and if the dining room that patrons see is in such a state of disarray then I can't even imagine what the kitchen and BOH areas look like. It would take a full day of deep cleaning, scrubbing and detailing to get the dining room to a somewhat acceptable level. The Butler location is bad too but not nearly as bad as this location but I will say the food at Butler left much to be desired the last time I was there.
I'm not in the Pittsburgh area much these days but if I do return I'll stick with the drive thru right at open in the hopes that I'm not reminded of the condition of the restaurant.“
