Jimmy's pizza is hands down the best I've had in Pittsburgh so far and I'm from Philly and have eaten pizza all over, including New York. “My husband and I have been going to the Village Inn for many years now. Everything we have eaten there has been so delicious from sandwiches to great Italian Food . My favorite is the stuffed crabmeat mushroom appetizer, bruschetta and Chicken Romano. The meatballs and pasta are so good. My favorite dessert is the Tiramisu. I highly recommend the Verona Village Inn.“

“We needed a place that had power during the wind storm to feed our kids and actually called asking if they had a kids menu they said yes and even told us what was on it over the phone. We ended up going the kids got chicken, fries and applesauce. Husband and I got salmon and swordfish both vary good, the bread was good,my salad was good husband said the house dressing was a little strong but still good. The waitresses were all great and super friendly. Even the customers were all friendly. The place is a little pricey though so be prepared but worth it for the price, the amount of food and the service. We'll be back!“

The seasoning is the best part, I always ask for extra in addition to buying a side of it so I can cover everything in it 🤣 I’ve tried quite a few of their seafood options- shrimp, cod, perch, catfish filet & nuggets- and have never been disappointed by any of them. The pick 2 combo with shrimp and catfish nuggets is my go-to though, best catfish I’ve ever had. The fries are always hot and crispy even when I get them delivered through doordash, and the hush puppies are great too. And you gotta have the funnel cake sticks for dessert! I love Hook 💕🐟🍤“

“The owner was extremely friendly and made me feel welcomed. I told him I was in town visiting and that Wilkinsburg is my hometown but I live in FL. He was so kind and asked about how we did during the recent hurricane that had just passed. We exchanged information because I told him he’d be a huge hit here in central Florida. “On Sunday we had an In house catered party for dinner and it was excellent! The food was topnotch and the service was great! Special shout out to our server, Bram (Brahm). He was efficient, kind, and organized. From the drinks served before, to the food, then the cake,and packing us up to go, he did it all with a little help by Samantha. For those complaining that the prices are too high It was only about $3.50 more than Bahama Breeze and so much tastier and better quality plus now I know where I can get it without having to drive all the way to Robinson.
