“I met Agnes today.. she raved about the cafe she and her sister share. Her pride and overall light when describing their cafe drew me in. We visited the cafe and ordered veggie dumplings and veggie egg rolls with fried rice and boba tea to go. The food was beyond amazing, super flavorful, fresh, well priced and the portions were on point! To top it off, Agnes's sister ( didn't catch her name) she was kind, patient and accommodating-. cafe was also really cute and welcoming. We will be returning! “Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. The staff is quick and helpful. The dance of flavors between the appetizers, entrees, and desserts were magnificent. A little bit of a walk from the theater but well worth it for a date night out. Careful with the stairs and it’s narrow when walking between tables, but to me this just elevated the coziness of it all. We will definitely come again!“

“These folks cater our office lunches a couple of weeks a month and everything i've had has been outstanding. From cold sandwiches to hot meals I've yet to have anything that wasn't awesome. I especially love their southwestern pasta salad. Great people, I highly recommend checking this place out“

“Just visited Uncle Bobbie's Coffee and Books and I'm highly upset that I live in VA and can't experience this place on a regular basis. I had a great time. the space is so warm and inviting. I love coffee and books and black spaces and I experienced all three. The staff was friendly' attentive, and helpful. My iced Chai and almond croissant were delicious. And I could have spent all day perusing the books and other merchandise. In the end I bought three books, three stickers, a bookmark, and a t-shirt. I'll definitely purchase more on the website. And I'll definitely visit again the next time I'm in Philly.“

“Some of the best black coffee I’ve had! I’m originally from Illinois. While the cafes I’ve been to in that state are good, this place didn’t water it down, and I didn’t even ask for strong black coffee like I normally would in Illinois. Very polite people! “I love Adelie Coffee House. The coffee is simply delicious! It's rich, smooth, aromatic, soothing - like a warm blanket fresh out of the dryer. I've only tried the cheese danish. It was very good. The baristas are great - all of them. The coffee house itself is bare bones, yet clean and cozy. You have the option to sit outside if you like. I'm so glad this little gem is right down the street from my house.💜“

Ended up going home with a bag of honey processed beans and a persistent hankering for another visit. “Such a cute place to grab a drink or bite to eat. We enjoy their sandwiches, soups, and pasta dishes. They’ve also got really good espresso. They have Wi-Fi and it’s a nice place for light work while enjoying your drink or meal. Staff are always great, especially the two young men that work the cashier. We love supporting this family-owned business. One thing to know: they do not have a public restroom.“

“It's a great place to go and relax with a shisha. The best shisha I have ever smoked, the atmosphere is nice ((very calm music)), the place helps you study or complete some transactions on the computer, without disturbance from customers, and the place was clean and well ventilated. The bathroom was also clean. The service was excellent with brother Adel. He was very nice. The tobacco was fresh and the charcoal was clean, with no smell or taste.“

Coffee is Medium roast and flavorful. Pastries are fresh daily. Friends love the specialty drinks, such as the Matcha and Brown Sugar Latte. Also, God help you if you try to get someone's attention. I feel like trying to make eye contact with the barista is some sort of social faux pas that I am not aware of. “I’m so happy to have Froot in my neighborhood. Everything is delicious. The banana stand and flamingo smoothies are my fave. And today I tried a CYO wrap with chicken, arugula, cranraisins, cucumbers and hummus and it was sooooo good. My daughter, who is a very picky eater, loves their açaí bowl and the weekend waffles. We love Froot and are so happy to have a healthy takeout option so close to home.“
