“My husband and I went to Meadowlark Bakery and Cafe this morning after learning that they hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for those who needed a place to go. We try to support places that support those in the community and do good. We’ve been there before for coffee and pastries, which are amazing, but we never had any other food. We have been missing out! We both got a breakfast sandwich and they were amazing! My biscuit was light and buttery, our eggs were perfectly fried, and both sandwiches had generous amounts of breakfast meat and came with tots. They had a wonderful Santa for the kids and a nice warm enclosed area for eating. Meadowlark, thank you for being a part of our community and helping those in need. It does not go unnoticed and we will absolutely be back to support you, your business, delicious food, and the good you are doing!“

“We celebrated my Dads birthday at this location last Friday. Cafe Light was recommended to us by a mutual friend as a great spot to have lunch and celebrate birthdays. We gave it a try and could not be happier. The banquet area was sparkling clean, cozy, not too big, not too small, just perfect! The menu was outstanding! They have updated the building, the people who are working there seem to be much more personable than the workers who were there in 2023. It appears that you are finally getting more food for your money. In 2022-2023, the price of a meal significantly increased while the size of your serving significantly decreased. I hope the food, service, and atmosphere continues to improve.“

“I have a subscription to their coffee roastery - I recieve a 5lb bag of Espresso Roast beans every 8 weeks to use in my at home espresso machine. Their beans have ruined all other coffee for myself and my wife - we can ONLY drink Backyard Beans coffee. It is the best coffee we have ever tasted. The worst part is - we live in Alabama so we can only ever order it for delivery!“

“My wife and I attended the Valentines Day five course special at the Grill Room, and after five years of marriage it stands out as the best Valentines Day dinner we’ve done out. The food was amazing from the first course to the table side prepared Bananas Foster (which was the best dessert I’ve personally ever had in a restaurant). The meal itself offered a large range of options to suit every appetite. My wife and I were able to pick different choices and it gave us both a wide tasting of the options (since we shared everything apart from the first plate). The food was top notch, way above what we had paid for such a wonderful experience. And let’s talk about price for a moment, you would imagine a meal that amazing would be unaffordable, and you would be wrong. Well within even the most frugal couples price range. Our server was excellent, with excellent service skills. The chefs work spoke for itself, but he has a great sense of humor to interact with as well. The management staff was on point, and seems dedicated to outstanding service. It was the first time I was here, but I guarantee it won’t be the last.“

“This is our second time back. The French press coffee is phenomenal. The mean was great. I’m a waitress and when I go out I pay attention to the servers. Our waitress was Allison. She was absolutely the best. She knew what we needed before even asking. For example a food runner brought our avocado toast (shareable) but with no plates. She knew right away when she glanced over to bring those plates. Asked if we needed more creamer when she noticed it was low. SHE WAS EXTREMELY ATTENTIVE without hovering.“

I enjoyed the scallops and the green beans were cooked to perfection. Enjoyed cappuccino and shared the dessert, a type of custard that was delicious! It says you get 1 pancake but I ordered another one which ended up being bad idea because their pancakes are HUGE the picture probably doesn’t do it justice. Overall, good food and good service.
