“Delicious Indian cuisine. I’ve been struggling to find a good Indian restaurant since I moved to the Philly area about 6 months ago, and I mean really struggling. Out of all of the places I’ve tried, Srinagar takes the cake!!! The Chicken Tikka Masala is incredible and is the perfect spice level for a medium. I did only get delivery via a third party service, but would certainly consider eating in next time. Will be eating here again!!!“

“I wish I could rate higher! Such a phenomenal experience. First time ever trying Indian Food. The manager went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and suggested dishes that were absolutely delicious. Had a great personality and really took care of us. The atmosphere was nice, clean, welcoming and roomy. The food was out of this world and I can't wait to go back. Highly highly recommend!!“

“This is probably my favorite new restaurant in Conshohocken! In summary: food is great, and the owners are so lovely and everyone truly cares about elevating your experience.
I went for the first time right after they opened, and had a wonderful experience. All of the food tasted great, but what really stood out from that first experience was the service. It’s a true family owned establishment, and it seems like the entire family works here. 🙂 we even spoke with an auntie who had flown out from her home in India to help them during the opening! Everyone stopped in to see what we thought of the food, and make sure we were having a good time. It wasn’t overwhelming, it was just so authentically caring.
In that first visit, we ordered our food spicy, but everything tasted very mild. I did give the feedback to the employees, and they definitely seemed to take it to heart. Since then, we have been back for Dina and have ordered takeout several times. We have ordered spicy, and it’s always been so spot on it’s spice level! It’s the perfect very spicy heat, but not so much that I feel like I’m gonna die if I don’t dip my face in milk. If you like some spice, but not too much, the medium should be perfect for you.
We’ve ordered so many different items. I highly recommend trying their starters, especially if you normally just order curries and skip starters. The chaats and the bhel puri are so delicious and fresh and crunchy. I really enjoy their paneer and lentil dishes, both lentil curries are fantastic. The dal maharani is rich, creamy, and savory and is the best. Their raita is also delicious and fresh. Just try everything!
It’s located well, right near the main street in town. You’ll find both street parking, and a parking lot across the street that is free in the evenings.
With the level of care that the family and the staff puts into the food and your experience, they just can’t go wrong. I’m so excited to have them in town, and I highly recommend you try them out!“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing food and great service! The chicken haleem was rich and flavorful, the naan was fresh, and the malai tikka boti was juicy and tender. The seekh kebabs had excellent taste, the beef nihari was full of authentic flavor, and the chana masala was delicious. Friendly service and a great overall experience. Will definitely order again!“

“The food is... Fine.. we ordered on a Tuesday, when our usual Indian restaurant was closed. We had Chicken Tikka Masala, naan, and a few other things. It was a little on the pricey side, but not outrageous. Portions were smaller than I expected for that price, but not horribly... Except the rice, which we had plenty of.
I probably will only go again if our usual spot is closed for the day.“

“I got take out from this restaurant for the first time tonight and it was phenomenal! We got multiple dishes to share and everything was absolutely delicious.
The staff was very friendly when I picked up my food. The restaurant was clean, nicely decorated, and had fun music playing. There was even a little girl dancing just because she was happy(not actual entertainment). It is obviously a positive environment. I will definitely be back!“

“We did take out from here. Food was very salty and not good at all. Roti was very hard and naan was very thick. We will not be ordering from this restaurant again. We ate here in past but their quality has worsen a lot. Would not recommend this restaurant to family & friends“

“I've ordered takeout before but never dined in. There was no wait and my order was taken immediately. The food was incredible! My favorites were the lamb vindaloo and shrimp tandoori. The naan was fresh, and handled the vindaloo sauce 👌 when getting some lamb and potatoes. Glad I came in for lunch, I will definitely come back for more.“

“Wonderful local establishment with the most flavorful and consistent curries. Absolutely love the gobi Manchurian. They ask your spice preference on a scale 1-7 which is fab! And mango lassi is delightful. They also have great vegetarian options !! The shredded paneer might be a new favorite.“

“I have been coming here at least a few times a year for at least 15 years, since I was a kid. The lunch buffet was always my favorite place to visit as a treat and now as an adult it's a fantastic place for a flavorful meal, or a night out at their beautifully decorated bar, or to see some local live music. Consistently tasty food and friendly staff and it is still one of my favorite places after all this time. Great spot and the variety of non-meat options and adjustable spice levels means there's something for everyone here.“

“Nice quaint place to eat in or take out. We had the place to ourselves at 5pm on a Tuesday but there was a steady flow of ppl picking up orders. Acknowledged immediately upon entering. Prices and serving portions were reasonable along with service and wait time. Had the butter chicken with classic naan. My friend frequents this location and others so opted for the chicken tikka masala with the garlic naan. No complaints with this being my first visit to this location.“

“Had the lunch special with Chicken Chettinah, Dal, Vegetable, Raita, Roti, Rice, Pickle and Dessert for under $11! Everything was excellent and it was basically two meal because I took half home. Staff is very relaxed and the place is super clean. The area definitely has it's fair share of Indian food, but this one is worth visiting for quality and price.“

“We have been to Ekta several times now and it never disappoints. There are many Indian restaurants, but few who offer the combination of excellent food, service and prices. We highly recommend this restaurant. It's not fancy - just delicious and a great value.“

“Friendly, clean, and delicious. I’m not a picky person, so when I saw that they finally opened an Halal spot in Franklin Mills mall, I was hype. We went here before the movies and the girls were so attentive and nice. Highly recommended. Will come back and it’s my first time!“

“I recently stopped by Choolaah for a meal, and we had a great experience. I really liked the idea of being able to fully customize the options for our meals.
• Mains: We ordered a couple of the Build Your Own Bowls. I chose the Tikka Masala, and it was really good! We also tried the Black Lentil Dal and the Yellow Lentil Dal, both of which were delicious and flavorful. One of the best parts was that the portion sizes were very good and satisfying.
• Extras: We loaded our bowls up with fresh add-ons like fire-roasted corn, roasted veggies, and veggie croquettes, plus a side of samosas and warm naan. Everything tasted fresh and paired perfectly.
• Drinks: We grabbed a Mint Ginger Lemonade and it was refreshing and went well with the food.
Overall, a solid spot with great customizable bowls.
Definitely worth checking out!“
“Best Party hall and grocery store owners everAt first, I visited Dana Mandi when it was in downtown at chestnut street. I had mouth watering Paronthe Makhan naal with a big glass of tea then. After 5 years from that time, I recently tried finding this place out again and learned it got shifted to upper darby. I was traveling back to Newyork from DC with my parents and told them i will get you best quality punjabi tea from this place. To my surprise when I reached there, Sardar ji (the owner) told me that due to huge loss of property due to floods and almost no recurring customer base he had to shut down the food corner :(. I felt sad for their situation and politely asked them for an alternative place near by.He said wait, you are my guests now I will get you all some fresh tea from our kitchen downstairs. We sat in their party hall (which was under construction then and almost done) and he served us delicious tea as his vip guests and not the customers. Later, I also bought groceries for my house since we were heading back after the weekend trip.We felt so much warmth with the respect we received from the gentleman who had such bad time in previous years due to personal and professional setbacks as he mentioned during the conversation we hadI humbly request every one to give them a chance to revive and flourish as another local business in your area.God bless him and his family with health and wealth. I will surely come back a million times if God permits.“

“They really hit the mark at this restaurant. The chai tea was top notch, properly served with warm milk! Had the goat and lamb both were excellent. Almost forgot ... Had a cauliflower appetizer with a coconut sauce, would recommend this as well. This is the kind of place that has culturally appropriate music to match the food. Yes, please.“
