“On Wednesday, August 27, in the midst of one of the most difficult days of my life as I coordinated hospice care for my father, I stopped at La Playa Bowls to find some nourishment. I hadn’t eaten all day, and what I received was far more than just a meal.

I was blessed with the healthy refreshment of fresh ingredients, lovingly customized just for me, and even more so, with the kindness and light of an AMAZING manager—Dawn. Your compassion, generosity, and gracious spirit lifted me in a way that words can hardly capture. You didn’t just provide outstanding customer service—you shared your heart.

“I just came from getting a haircut and noticed a sign that said Q&K Juice Solutions, I am trying to eat healthier, so I said let me see what they have to offer, I was greeted by a young lady who I later found out after he introduced himself is the owner Kyle's daughter. Both were very pleasant. I ordered a detox drink which was outstanding. Everything was made from fresh ingredients. They offer a variety of drink smoothies and so on.
If you are looking for a healthy drink this is the place to go. And they have great customer service which you do not see much these days.“

It was in my daughter’s bowl and it was the best granola ever!!!! We ate outside which was very nice and the one couple had their dog with them!!! “I have been eating here every Sunday for several years. And then I shop. Everything tastes great, everything is organic, mostly wholegrain and it is 95% vegan and is an amazing bargain! Jammed Yam (sweet potato with quinoa, black beans, pineapple, mixed peppers, jalapenos, cilantro, avocado) has been my go to for a while now, but I do get other entrees from time to time. There is always a special and a soup and if you get there early you might be able to get one or two of their $.99 vegan wholegrain muffins. Yes, you can mix and match any ingredients or pay $.75 to get extra. I also get a kombucha refill in my growler.“

“I want to thank them for a perfect açaí bowl. I swear this is the first time I’ve gotten peanut butter in my Nutter butter bowl at any of the juice pods I’ve been to. It’s probably the best I’ve had from all in Delco and I’ve tried about 80% of them. When I was there, I could tell they were taking their time to craft each and every bowl meal smoothie that went out the door and I appreciate that! Thank you to the juice pod in Newtown Square, my new fave. :)“

“Ice cream is delicious, but the highlight was the service. I had two ten-year-old girls with me who took awhile to choose, and the man who served us was so patient and kind to them. It was very noisy and crowded, but he gave them his full attention and made sure they got exactly what they wanted. Meanwhile another server offered me a taste of his favorite flavor combo, just for fun. I ended up getting the peppermint bark ice cream. Peppermint was my favorite ice cream when I was a kid, and it’s hard to come by these days. This one hit the spot. Honestly, I was dreading going to the mall, but this ice cream spot made it worth while.“
