“On Wednesday, August 27, in the midst of one of the most difficult days of my life as I coordinated hospice care for my father, I stopped at La Playa Bowls to find some nourishment. I hadn’t eaten all day, and what I received was far more than just a meal.

I was blessed with the healthy refreshment of fresh ingredients, lovingly customized just for me, and even more so, with the kindness and light of an AMAZING manager—Dawn. Your compassion, generosity, and gracious spirit lifted me in a way that words can hardly capture. You didn’t just provide outstanding customer service—you shared your heart.

The bowl was prepared with care, its ingredients as fresh, energizing, and delicious as always. But what made the experience extraordinary was you, Dawn. On a day that felt heavy, you poured joy and encouragement into my spirit.

“Can’t believe I forgot this one!! My fam went here when it was new. We used to live in Media and every now and then we visit just to feel normal again!!! This joint was cool, they have an upstairs and a little outside deck thing! Coffee was good! Daughter had some croissant thing if I remember correctly and she loved it!! The very nice cashier told us our daughter got big and I clutched my baby like it was the last Renzulli barber pole!!!! Here, it was the sister of a girl that dated my baby nephew Billy!!! “A cute store with a large variety of smoothies, coffees, and juices. Highly customizable options and relatively quick service. The only issue I had was the smoothies we got had so much ice ground in them that it was a bit like drinking an ICEE. I drive through here quite a bit so I’ll definitely be stopping by again.“

“Stopped in here for a bite to eat while shopping. Ordered a smoothie and a wrap along with a Quesadillas... Really enjoyed the jerk chicken wrap and the smoothie. Quesadillas wasn't back but not a fan.
Didn't have to wait was able to order quickly. Food was reasonable priced and good quality. Will definitely stop in again.

“we stopped in for lunch and lord was it good. the portions are generous and the prices are family friendly. my family of 6 was able to order combos and keep the price under $100. everyone got milkshakes or fruit smoothies as well. I even left with funnel cake fries for a snack on the ride home. come check them out. you won't be disappointed“

“My kids love this place and the staff are always so friendly and give them stickers or something special. The Barbie drink comes with a straw topper which my daughter is now obsessed with and my son is raving about the Dubai chocolate drink.“

“This is a huge KFT store, the largest I have ever been in. Massive open area to chill, hangout, play games and rest. The space was clean and organized with couple of small arcades and few board games in the shelves.

The menu had all the popular drinks including my favorite mango milk tea with popping pearls. It was easy to put the order through kiosk, no wait time at all. Surprisingly the drinks took longer than usual, about 10 minutes to be ready. But once we got them, the flavor of my milk tea was amazing. The popping bobas were also fresh. Other than the delay, I liked this overall experience at this store.“

“Somehow forgot to review this joint…so here it goes! Had the Greek toast and it was fabulous! It wasn’t a huge portion being that I’m a man but I hammered that toast like it was John Stamos!!! It was served on a wood cutting board which was cool but some of the toppings kept falling off and onto the table! I would have ate the pieces that fell on the table but I have a wood allergy!! My daughter got a bowl but I don’t remember which one! That was delicious too because I ended up eating most of that(she didn’t like it)!! I went home and did the treadmill…blood tests always say pre diabetic 🤷🏾. The coffee was delicious as well!! Have to give a huge shout out to the granola they have!!!!!! It was in my daughter’s bowl and it was the best granola ever!!!! We ate outside which was very nice and the one couple had their dog with them!!! “I have been eating here every Sunday for several years. And then I shop. Everything tastes great, everything is organic, mostly wholegrain and it is 95% vegan and is an amazing bargain! Jammed Yam (sweet potato with quinoa, black beans, pineapple, mixed peppers, jalapenos, cilantro, avocado) has been my go to for a while now, but I do get other entrees from time to time. There is always a special and a soup and if you get there early you might be able to get one or two of their $.99 vegan wholegrain muffins. Yes, you can mix and match any ingredients or pay $.75 to get extra. I also get a kombucha refill in my growler.“

“I want to thank them for a perfect açaí bowl. I swear this is the first time I’ve gotten peanut butter in my Nutter butter bowl at any of the juice pods I’ve been to. It’s probably the best I’ve had from all in Delco and I’ve tried about 80% of them. “Ice cream is delicious, but the highlight was the service. I had two ten-year-old girls with me who took awhile to choose, and the man who served us was so patient and kind to them. It was very noisy and crowded, but he gave them his full attention and made sure they got exactly what they wanted. Peppermint was my favorite ice cream when I was a kid, and it’s hard to come by these days. This one hit the spot. “The boba was of a good consistency and tasted of brown sugar. The earl grey tea at 70% sweetness was flavored well. The frothy milk cap took this drink to an unprecedented level of delight. The sweet to salty ratio was flawless and once it was incorporated thoroughly into my drink, I couldn’t scarf it down fast enough. I will be dreaming of this bubble tea.“
