“Administrative details - While you usually must make a reservation a year in advance (which I did), there are a very few earlier spots available on their website. In addition, if you are on the email list, they send the occasional last-minute availability. Talula’s is BYOB. The price was $125 and with all the other things, taxes, gratuities, it came to $160. The Nook Table is available for 6-8 diners and the Farm Table is for larger parties. Website link is below. Everything is presented in “tasting” small portions. In addition to the menu, they provided a couple of additional offerings. I did not do a good job of capturing the delightful descriptions of the food provided by our server. (The next time I go, I will video the descriptions if they allow.) The group did a great job of bringing wine which was beautifully poured in appropriate glassware by our server. The server also paired the wine with the offerings for us! The service was exceptional without being pretentious. After each tasting, plates, utensils and glasses were cleared and refurbished so discreetly that you hardly noticed. The menu changes with the “farm to table” availability. My favorite was a squash tarte. [I was delighted to find that I did not like the foie gras. It is “made” in a most inhumane and horrible way. This is the only time I have eaten it and I will never eat it again.] I was sorry to find that by the Black Garlic Beef Ribeye (#6 on the list), I was getting to the point of “too much food.” The only downsides were “too much food” for most of us and the wines they suggested for the pairings were hard/impossible to find. I personally did not like the varieties of wines they suggested for pairings. The rest of the party enjoyed the comparable wines they were able to find and allowed the server to pair with the tastings. I will be making a reservation for next year very soon. I have already made a reservation for the “sister” Talula’s Garden in Philly for September.”

“Absolutely hands down the best Steak and Cheese sub and the Italian Hoagie!! Fresh and made to order. I would drive 2 hours to order these subs again. The subs were so delicious and fresh order 2 ex large to bring home! You gotta try! The staff is so nice and welcoming!”

The pasta dishes are better than most if not all of there other restaurants in wc. You can tell when effort is put into every dish and the chefs put full effort to make every bite as good as the last.”

“Spoilt food. I am a regular here and pick up lunch meals often. Food was consistently good until yesterday. Sambar was spoilt and straight away smelled obnoxious. I get it that items like sambar are not made fresh daily but the owners and the chef should have the basic human courtesy to check for quality before selling it. Taste can be off but quality is non negotiable. It is sad that an indian restaurant with good name in the area is going down the drain like this. Never ordering here again.”

“I saw a friend walking out and she highly recommended it. I went the next day and was not disappointed! The staff was incredibly helpful when we had no idea what to order! Highly recommend the Tara latte or strawberry latte with their respective boba!!!! We got a menu and want to make our way through it! If you don’t like boba, the Oreo smoothie was delicious as well! The ambiance inside is very nice and calming as well! I will be back!”

We've always been pleased with the friendly service, delicious food quality, and value... We recently hosted a baby shower for our daughter, and approached to owner about catering the event for 35 guests... We enjoyed a feast of humus, chicken kabob, beef tenderloin kabob, grilled fresh vegetables, and rice... The meal was ready to go as scheduled, we were provided with chafing dishes and sterno to keep the meal warm, and enjoyed a great dining experience... Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the meal... My friend and I ran the Tough Mudder held a few miles away, and thought it would be fun to celebrate our success with a sweet treat. We ordered 6 custom cupcakes (and two scones, because who doesn't love a scone?!) and got a prompt and lovely response from Tess - she even made two different frosting flavors for us since we couldn't choose On the day we were due to pick up our order, we were running late and Tess assured us we could come after closing to grab our sweets. Come to find that in addition to the TM decoration we'd asked for, she also decorated some of our cupcakes with the TM logo to differentiate between the frosting flavors. And the scones are huge! Everything was delicious and the perfect way to end our race. Plus the shop is ADORABLE! We were sad we didn't have more time to visit and hang out there! Thank you again, Tess!”
