“Waited 40 minutes for hush puppies while the restaurant was nearly empty at 3pm. Primary food order came 5 minutes later and my son’s order was wrong. It’s a shame because the food is good. But the service has been so slow both times I’ve been here. They did comp his meal. Just expect to wait a while and enjoy your drinks. Don’t come if you’re in a hurry.“

Service with Chris was exceptional. Everyone loved the food & drinks ~ plenty of tasty options for vegetarians and folks with Celiac’s. This continues to be my go-to restaurant in WC! Thank you!“

“Excellent beer selection and great (often unique) food choices. Service is always friendly and prompt. We have quite a few great experiences here. To us, the only downfall is the bunch menu but that is personal preference of not caring for most brunch menus.“

“WC has over sixty restaurants and Spence Cafe is our favorite of all. Intimate dining experience with always excellent menu options prepared by Andrew Patton, owner/chef, who's one of the best in the county. When the weather is nice, their backyard patio is lovely. And BYOB to boot!“
