“We used Grico’s to cater our wedding and they were fantastic to work with. The catering manager, Marissa, was so easy to communicate with and promptly answered any questions that came up. They had a great selection of meal options and we chose the chicken francaise, blackened salmon with raspberry sauce, and filet mignon. All food choices were INCREDIBLE and all our guests were raving how great the food was. The service was top notch and the bartenders kept our drinks full all night. 10/10 service. “My son kept telling me he wanted us to try this restaurant as he lives in the area and he goes there often. It was a hike for us, but we decided to go try it out. There were 6 of us there, and everyone enjoyed their food, but I will speak to what we ordered. My son insisted we try the pizza as an appetizer. I am not really into pizza when I go out to a restaurant, so I was hesitant. When it came out, it was huge. I loved that it was very crisp on the bottom and it was not overloaded with sauce. It didn't have the typical cheese that slides off the pizza when you order it. The owner, Chris, came to check on us to see how we liked it. I thought it was fantastic, but there are a limited number made during the evening so I think you have to get there early. My daughter and I shared the bang bang cauliflower and that was very tasty. There was a lot of it so we ended up taking some of that home. The other appetizer we had were the soul scallops. We all thought this was an amazing appetizer and I loved the combination with the cornbread. We each had a salad before dinner and I personally like the spring mix with tomatoes. It wasn't an overly large salad, but it was a salad was what is was supposed to be: a precursor to dinner. With the portion sizes of the appetizers and the food, we actually ended up taking some of the salad home. My son got the Italian Chicken and Waffles, which was huge. I was give a taste of that and while it was a combination that I did not think would work, it was very good and a creative recipe. My husband had the Surf and Turf Fricassee and he is still talking about that almost a week later. It was a very nice dish and his steak came out the way he asked. He is frequently disappointed when he goes out to eat in other restaurants and is disappointed by how often the steak is overcooked. I had the Alfredo Bay, which again, was a large portion that I ended up taking home and finishing the next day. I was worried that it was going to be a bit too spicy with the Old Bay, but I liked the combination of ingredients so I thought I would give it a try. You can taste the kick, but it wasn't overwhelming thankfully. When talking to the owner, he said that the only dessert they were out of was the Tiramisu (which is one of my favorite desserts). His mom personally makes it so it tends to sell out. Chris.....tell your mother to make more (just kidding). The staff that we interacted with were very personable and friendly. While this was a little over an hour from home, we will definitely be back the next time we are visiting our son!“

“Great local italian restaurant in the downtown area. It's pretty popular so be sure to make a reservation ahead. Randomly, you can find empty seats by the wood fire pizza station. We don't mind and the hosts always ask in case as it isn't a regular table. You can see all the kitchen action and pizza making skills while dining. Terrific service by my server JP. He set us up with a wine bottle and the bikini bottom pizza which is always delicious. There is also a gelato/coffee section near the entrance located by the bar. They do have a room with a big table in case you're looking for a more private dinner. However, you still feel like you are in the restaurant part of the crowd as it is enclosed by glass. There is a section to hang coats. Definitely try the whipped ricotta!“

“A nice little place that has been in the downtown for close to 20 years. You enter through the bar that is roomy while also having hightop tables. When entering main dining, the first thing we noticed was the piano player, which is a super-cool touch! He played some fun songs, including some of his own, cracked jokes, and also interacted with the crowd while not being intrusive at all. My wife and I each got a martini (Dirty Gin for her and Honey Nut Cheerio for me) and both were delicious. As an appetizer, we got Eggplant Melanzane, which was light, had great flavor, and a delicious vodka sauce. My better half had a Caesar salad with probably the best Caesar dressing we have ever had. I went with the gorgonzola salad that had a nice, tart raspberry vinaigrette. For our entrees, she had the chicken special, which featured thin chicken breast and portobello mushrooms in a port wine sauce, topped with gorgonzola. It was very earthy and deep, a worthy special. I had the Pollo Sambuca, which is the same thin chicken breast with shrimp and mushrooms in a creamy sambuca sauce. It was very flavorful and slightly sweet. The anise is there, but not distracting. This was a solid meal! Our server, Thellenza, was attentive and informative. She made sure we understood all of the specials and took care of anything we asked. The rest of the staff is also helpful, too, and we were never in need of anything for long at all. The adult beverages that we enjoyed were definitely tasty, we just wish they had more of a wine and beer selection. Food: 9 Service: 10 Atmosphere: 10 Adult Drink Selection: 8 Overall: 9.25“

“Our family ordered the sweet sauce pizza and the hot honey pepperoni. They were both round. The dough was fresh and cooked to perfection. The hot honey pepperoni pizza blended so well and gave it an amazing combined flavor. The sweet sauce pizza was a delight. I ordered the Philly chicken cheesesteak on a wrap and it was loaded with flavor. The portion of the wrap was significantly larger than any wrap I’ve ever had. We also tried the mild honey garlic wings. The wings were very large and crispy. Overall this was an excellent experience for our family and we intend to return as regular customers.“
