“For many years I have gone to Patron’s with family and friends. But this review is specific to my latest experience with them. My husband was celebrating his 50th birthday and we decided to do catering through them. My expectations weren’t only met but exceeded substantially! Everything was delicious as usual—we ordered mixed fajitas, choripollo, rice and beans, chips and queso. I did a pickup order and everything was labeled and packaged well for quick set up. Lots of compliments from our guests too— thanks!“

“We read that this place was a go to restaurant. And it proved without a doubt it was the best at everything especially our server Steve and his service staff. We each had a specialty cocktail and both were fantastic. Between courses normally the management usually pushes the food, however at Off the Hook, they gave us time to settle through to the next course. This is a first class experience. We already have plans to go back in the next week with friends of ours. The menu is highly detailed yet very informative. We had a chance to talk with a couple sitting next to us. Off the Hook is a superb establishment with everything going for them. So happy we tried it out even though it's over an hour away; it won't stop us from going back even the slightest.“

“It's hard to find a good fried fish sandwich but this is definitely my new place! The fish was flakey and the breading was crisp! This place takes care when packing fried food to go. Gently wrapped in paper so it doesn't get soggy. Everything had such great flavor! We added perch and catfish to our meals and they was outstanding! Thank you for the great food and service!“

“We LOVE Kanlaya. Small family run business. Food is amazing and reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Some of our family favorites: Crab Rangoon, Tom kha soup, Pad woon sen, pineapple fried rice, all the curry’s, and the fried banana dessert is so good. Take the 0-4 Spice level seriously. 😉 I get Spicy 1 and that is plenty spicy.“

“First time visiting. Definitely worth the drive from Pittsburgh. Easily accessible, convenient parking. Party of two, dined inside. Enjoyed appetizers, entree and dessert. Food was delicious, and excellent - PERSONAL - service. Our waitress was Janet, and she was absolutely wonderful. Ended up striking conversation with her and another couple. “Three cheers for this restaurant. My son and I went there for dinner, and let me tell you, it is a very nice place. We were seated by the hostess and handed the menus. I saw a catch of the day plate for $16. I pointed to it on the menu and asked our waitress if it was good. She said a lot of people were ordering it but she didn't taste it. My son and I both ordered it. It was very good. The bill came and it was $75. I showed it to the waitress and she said that the hostess must have given me the lunch menu by mistake. She left and came back with the corrected bill. Now, I'm sure this happens once in awhile. I have had other times that the bill was wrong. But they didn't give me a hard time to correct the bill. Actually on the amount of difference (dinner price was $28.95), I thought they would make a stink about it. But they were very cordial and we left with a very good feeling for this place. So, please go to this restaurant because they know how to make you happy when you come through thier front door.“

“We went to Firebirds for lunch to use the $10 coupon that was emailed and the $7 Martini Monday special which was included in the same email. We are long time customers of Firebirds but the last several visits have been disappointing. The $7 martini special was not honored. The sirloin steak that I had was good, but contained at least 3 areas of gristle that were impossible to chew. The loaded baked potato was excellent but toppings on it were scarce compared to those I have had in the past. The manager that we spoke to was unhelpful about the Martini Monday special included in the email. Just be aware if you are an Inner Circle member and have expectations when using promotional emails for dining that you may not get what you are promised. We sat outside on a beautiful early September afternoon so it was a nice dining experience.“
