“Patti's Pasticceria is a family-owned Italian-American bakery. Its menu includes breakfast pastries, cookies, cupcakes, rolls, specialty cakes (e.g., wedding, anniversary, birthday, and graduation), and even non-baked goods such as soups and espresso drinks. Prices are reasonable. For Easter, my family purchased a chocolate cake, a white cake, a strawberry pie, and lady-lock cookies from Patti's. My family members and I thought that these desserts were fresh and tasted good, but we prefer the flavors of desserts from a few other bakeries. I would feel happy to try many of Patti's other desserts, including her cinnamon rolls, pecan rolls, apple strudels, cold-dough apricot cookies, s'mores cookies, cheesecake, carrot cake, sfogliatelle, etcetera. Please note that some desserts must be ordered in advance, and catering is available.“

“It is hard to get a truly homemade cake these days as many of the bakeries use a frozen base and just assemble them. This cake was handmade and perfect in every way! It was a surprise in every layer with the crunch from the chocolate topping to a fudgy middle, creamy delicious frosting and with a bouncy moist cake. So well done!“

There was a female there named Aaliyah she was quite helpful and patient with me since it was my first time at a juicery. “As someone who works in Regent Square, it's so valuable to be able to quickly hop over to Live Fresh and get a smoothie! I go almost everyday to get one of their healthy smoothies. Everyone who works there is so kind and helpful. The place is a breath of fresh air! I recommend trying the Popeye's with added cinnamon! Delicious and I feel GREAT afterwards.“

“We were in town for a baseball tournament and we ordered pizza and wings. Let me tell something. I have tried wings from just about every place I go to and these wings were easily top 3 all time. “Stopped here for a quick lunch on a Saturday. Server was attentive, food was hot and fresh and atmosphere was relaxed. We had a large pizza and some sandwiches. Appreciated that there was a vegetarian sandwich option and that the menu was simple and easy to figure out. They know what they do best there and they keep it at that. Something I admire.“

“Started my Pittsburgh foodie adventures in this adorable little sit-down pizza restaurant in Shadyside! We tried the Pizza Del Re (white pizza) and Pizza Della Casa (red pizza), and both lived up to the hype! Pizza Del Re: - White pizza with mozzarella, truffle spread, & prosciutto (it comes with mushrooms too, but we got it without because my boyfriend doesn't like mushrooms) - A super rich truffle taste that was so yummy - Loved the thin crust, but there were parts that tasted a little too burnt Pizza Della Casa: - Red tomato sauce pizza with mozzarella, grape tomatoes, arugula, prosciutto, & parmigiano - I love the combination of prosciutto & arugula and it was a plus that the arugula tasted so fresh & wasn't bitter - I personally prefer red sauce over white sauce, so I liked this pizza a little bit more To top off your meal here, make sure to get their gelato for dessert! I got a small size with 2 flavors -- tiramisu and hazelnut. Both flavors were super rich and yummy and definitely satisfied my sweet tooth.“

I have had duck at other asian restaurants and it sometimes comes out rather tough and chewy. But I had the duck birds nest here and it was alot more smooth and tender. “It was a rainy day. But, hey, what a cool and unique place Biddle's is! It was easy parking, but I'm thinking if it was a brilliant day, parking would be tight. PS. All tables were full. But, we got one, and spent 2 hours talking. A latte lasted a long time, 2 hours, which might say a bunch about the coffee. It wasn't memorable. The water was good. The food looked good, but I wasn't feeling hungry.An eclectic and semi-Bohemian atmosphere...very cool outdoor tent with a cozy seating setup. “This old school Italian restaurant did not disappoint. We arrived before our reservation time and were seated immediately. From the appetizers to the main course, everything was delicious. Outstanding service as well. Run, don't walk to this wonderful restaurant.“

“I found this gem a few weeks ago and I am totally obsessed. I had the green chameleon smoothie and added turmeric and that is now my new favorite and I try to get it every time I am up that way. Today I tried the Pitaya smoothie bowl and it was amazing. It was hard to choose between all the delicious and nutritious toppings that they had for it but I think I did a pretty good job at picking the most delicious ones. I can't wait to try another one , however I don't know how it will top the one that I had today. I didn't think I was going to be able to finish it all and I probably shouldn't have and I should have saved some for later but I absolutely did not I ate every last drop. Also the employees are super friendly and efficient. Definitely highly recommend this place for delicious nutritious food and drinks. If I can give it more than five stars I would!!!“

“I really enjoyed this kinda hidden Italian gem! It's just the right size - not too big with an overdone menu. Enough choices but not overwhelming. The bruschetta was very good, but, for me, th spinach ricotta ravioli was mouth melting deliciousness! My friend ordered the penne with meatballs which was also a big hit. To finish our meal we decided on canole, yum! My only disappointment was the bread - nothing special, nor did it seem much like what I had in Italy. The wine list had some nice options... the Aldo Conterno Bussia Barolo caught my attention (yeah, we ordered it - def decant). The balsamic/olive oils served were above par and also loved the copper wrapped tables and rustic elegance. Service was great. They also had little gift package "meal kits" which I thought was a clever idea. Def would go here again!“

“While in the area I was craving Thai food and my friend mentioned she knew of a good place nearby. We stopped by around 1130 on a Sunday and it was almost empty when we got there. We were seated right away and ordered a bunch of different foods to share including mussamun curry, pad see ew, pad kee mow, Thai noodle soup, chicken satay, and Thai iced tea. I'd say everything was really good with the exception of the kee mow. It had veggies in it that I've never had in it before and I just didn't love it as much I have at other places. The mussamun was delicious and the noodle soup is something I've never had before but will definitely be on my radar from now on. The inside was nice, the staff was really friendly, and the food came out pretty quickly. Overall I thought it was a good experience and I would go back!“

“Food was decent . The waiter was fast and he food was timed well. Only issue was the appetizer was a bit on the small size and seemed over fried. Maybe they fry it and then set it aside and then fry it again when ordered to heat it up. Other than that I liked the res of the food and the atmosphere.“

Chef’s Kiss mwah! 1000% would recommend.Parking: Handicap spaces are usually available but other spaces you may have to hunt for a bit. Located in a busy shopping plaza. Also need to pay attention to the direction signs AND cars, have nearly clipped a few confused drivers coming in the wrong direction.“
