“we just moved to the area and have tried a few local pizza places...they've all sucked! 1. we got so SICK after eating it. 2. the pizza was okay, but the calzone was raw...like more raw dough than cheese!!! 3. just tasted like cardboard. 4. over priced but not atrocious. well tonight I REALLY REALLY wanted good pizza! I contemplated driving an hour and a half to get a pizza from a place that I KNOW is safe! I stead I took the chance with Pasquales. seriously the best pizza I've had in the LONGEST TIME. it was so fast, I honestly expected it to be horrible. but it was delicious! I usually can barely crush 2 pieces...I ate 6.. I do feel sick but that's just because I ate way too much!! the sauce has flavor, it's well seasoned. the crust is buttery and delicious. you can actually TASTE the garlic! they don't skimp on seasoning which is so nice! this is our new go to for pizza!!!“

Finding a decent meal around here has been a bit of a hazard, considering Pizza Palermo literally served us food off the floor and Lelulo's is a hard pass for a laundry list of reasons. “I have been going to this place since I was a kid. After a visit to Kennywood we would always go for pizza here. The original owners we some of the nicest people I had met over the years and their daughter is carrying on the tradition . She always greets everyone with a smile and is super friendly :) My family and I love their square pizza and usually asked for it to be baked alittle longer for extra crunchiness. My 6 yr old grandson loves their pizza and always ask for it when he a over . The sauce and cheese is always the right amount, the pepperoni is yummy too !!! All around every visit here is always a positive experience 🍕😋🇮🇹“

“Look, this is basically the better end of fast food pizza. They have the traditional ceramic 1000 degree ovens and one guy on shift (I assume because it wasn't Fri ir Sat night) doing his absolute best. It's a tiny little shop with no seats tucked into a corner of the Golden Mile.

But the dough was excellent, the pizza perfectly cooked and the guy was nice as he!! on the phone and in person.

The cheese is above average, the toppings just enough and they have a deal for orders over $25 that get a free 2L if you pay cash. Get some extra toppings and drink.

But good golly the parking, lol. Easily a 35degree grade in the closest spots, make sure your parking brake is in order or use the other set of spaces that don't require a sherpa.
Heaven help you if you want to head north after getting your pie.They may even have a sign telling you not to turn left, but who can be bothered?

I'm a pizza snob, but this is solid local that stops far enough short of mass market that I recommend.

I ordered a mushroom and olive pizza late night on the slice app. They called me instantly and told me they were out of mushrooms for the night the caller was very apologetic. When my pizza showed up the driver apologized again and gave me a free dessert. Absolutely wonderful people running this place, and did I mention the food was great?“
