“We are so lucky to have an establishment like Baby Loves Tacos in the East End! This family not only knows how to make amazing tacos, burritos, etc., but they also know how to feed the soul of a community. From their donation based coffee station to their pay it forward meals to their community meals at the end of the day when they have some extra ingredients, everyone is treated with respect and dignity. If you are craving anything on their menu, you won’t be disappointed. This is a must visit establishment when in the neighborhood.“

“If you are looking for authentic, no-nonsense Mexican street food, this local taco spot is an absolute must-visit.
The traditional tacos are hands down amazing. They are perfectly executed with tender, flavorful meat on flour tortillas. They don't overcomplicate it, and they don't have to, the quality speaks for itself.
The salsa is a standout. You can immediately tell it’s made fresh in-house. It has the perfect balance of heat and vibrant, bright flavor that elevates every single bite.
I didnt try the guacamole, but wish I had as it was made fresh!
The service is warm and welcoming, and you can feel the pride they put into their food. The seating is fun for every table giving a unique experience to each patron. It’s exactly what a local spot should be. I will definitely be a regular here!“

“Having recently visited Puerto Rico, I was curious if I would be able to find a place locally that could live up to everything I had during my time in PR before my next trip. Pittsburgh has a lot of great restaurants, but very few Puerto Rican restaurants. Secretos De Mis Abuelos far exceeded my expectations. We had the Mofongo Rellenos con Pollo Guisad, Rice & Beans, the best Tostones, AND, the best Tres Leches cake I ever had! (Not hyperbole. Full stop.) I can't remember the last time I had a meal that brought me so much joy. This place is an absolute love letter to the food and culture of Puerto Rico, and if you've never had the opportunity to experience it, I strongly suggest you stop sleeping on it. I wish these folks nothing but success, and I am looking forward to my next visit already - to Puerto Rico and SDMA. 🇵🇷“

“Solid little food truck for Mediterranean meals. Essentially everything is made in house (although, I’m not sure about the bread/tortilla/pita). I tried the tandoori chicken wrap as well as a dessert wrap. The tandoori chicken wrap was good. A bit small maybe, but still solid. The chicken itself is nicely spiced; it is definitely flavorful, maybe even a bit too spicy for me. Good texture, well cooked. I asked for mine without lettuce. The tomatoes were juicy and very good as well. There’s nothing really special about the bread. Just average. The sauce was good as well, nice kick. The dessert pita was interesting. It had a lot of nuts, bit of coconut, Nutella, chocolate spread, and maybe a few other things as well. Kind of a random concoction of sweet items in a tortilla. It’s good, and I really liked the Nutella especially. But, a bit odd and the tortilla tasted somewhat stale. All in all, a solid spot. Decent prices, okay portions. Quality halal food that’s made by the owner.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options for bowls and wraps, desserts as well“

“Tonight I made my first trip to Bull River Taco in White Oak. On Oct 18th my nephew had made his last trip to his favorite taco joint. later that evening he was involved in a fatal motorcycle accident. Today would have been his 43rd birthday. So in his honor I wanted to go and have something from his favorite place. The owners were wonderful, and after hearing my story didn't charge us for anything. The service, food, and experience was amazing. Additionally, my nephew was always doing random acts of kindness, it was in his DNA. So since we weren't charged for our meal I decided to pay it forward and picked up the tab for the next customer through the door. I can't thank them enough for making the trip special. Can't wait to go back again!“
