Back at Rita's again! This time, they have banana flavor! Super excited to have it again, since they closed all the chain shops in California. Tons of flavors to choose from, but can't go wrong with banana. I actually split it with mango and mmm-mmm good. Got the large this time. Didn't finish it so I put the rest in the freezer. Still just as good the next day. Just take it out for a few minutes before digging in.
Still wonderful after all these years. Rita's is my mistress I visit for the summer months (my wife understands my love affair with italian ice). Don't worry, honey. you can have my affection in the autumn.

A Pennsylvania classic! I had a gelati with mango water ice and vanilla custard, which was DELICIOUS. Rita's is a great substitute for a Dairy Queen. Lots of flavors and easy parking. Pay with card or cash. Don't expect to sit though since it's just the roadside stand. I'd go all the time if I lived here!
