I was looking for a fish and chips place with a good variety, but more importantly I wanted fried whiting with straight cut fries like I used to have it when I lived in Harlem; and I found just that and more. If you are looking for fried seafood this is the place! Fried fish, crab sticks, scallops, shrimp, .... everything is soooo good!“

“I recently stopped by Youell’s Oyster House for happyhour, and it turned out to be a great choice. Their happy hour menu is solid and well-priced, especially for seafood.
The Happy Hour Crab Cocktail, Steamed Clams, and Tuna Tartare were all $11 each, which is a really good value considering the quality you typically expect from a long-established seafood place. The selection felt fresh, simple, and flavorful, perfect for a light seafood spread.
For drinks, the Espresso Martini and Blood Orange cocktail were both $10. They were balanced, not overly sweet.
The overall total came out to around $55 for two people during happy hour, which is very reasonable. Service was quick, and the atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect from a classic oyster house—casual but polished.
If you enjoy seafood, happy hour deals, and good cocktails, this spot is definitely worth a visit.“

“I am so happy to go back to the store. They have a really really great selection of seafood. My husband went in the store today and we bought almost $400 of seafood and it was so nice to see one owners there. The owners are Carl and Richard. It was a pleasure to see them there And one more thing that was so great the woman that did work there. I was kind of glad she wasn’t there. I didn’t have to wait outside until she’s finished smoking her cigarettes. I didn’t have to hear the foul language that she talk when customers come in. I just found it very disrespectful, but it’s so good to see the owners in the store and they have this wonderful man that works there part time and his name is Eddie. He is such pleasant to be around. He makes you smile he makes you feel welcome. He’s in training, but he will be a great asset to the Store. I am so glad that she wasn’t there. I think her name was Patty smell like smoke when we walked in the door because she would be smoking outside And probably inside. This is a business and Great seafood store She had people hanging out around the store smoking cigarettes. It’s a business. It’s not a truck stop. I can’t wait to go back to get some wonderful seafood again and see one of the owners. It was a pleasure to have them back. It felt like a breath of fresh air. They cater to everybody they have a wonderful place in Orfield that’s the main warehouse they sell the restaurants they sell to every one. The store is just Sister store, but the main place is the warehouse. What’s not in the store you could probably get it at the warehouse if not, they’ll get it. It is so good. I must say it again. “Overall amazing food and experience! First time we have gone and it certainly won’t be the last. Dinner with a group of 9, service was amazing from start to finish, food was amazing, the strawberry pie dessert is unreal! Everyone ate so much and still had left overs to take home, well done to the entire staff! If your thinking about going to the Fairgrounds Hotel for dinner stop thinking, make a reservation and GO!“

“Tonight was the first time I have been to Adagio. We came in as a party of 13. My friend had made reservations so that was a very good idea. We did a Galentine’s day. Our server Cathryn (not sure of the correct spelling) was amazing. They had a large group of regulars that they were unaware was coming in there tonight. We were in no rush but she explained and still managed to get everything done in an extremely timely manner. I love shrimp but didn’t want anything on the menu so I asked if there was a way I could have shrimp scampi so we got that figured out. This was the best shrimp scampi I’ve had in my life. I hope someone can please pass that on to the chef. I don’t know what is in his/her sauce but it was just perfect. There was also a great shrimp to pasta ratio. Cathryn had to keep bringing up crabs for the all you can eat for about 5 of my friends. I can’t speak for them but from the looks of it they were probably I know people complain often about anything lately so I wanted to let people know how much I loved it and I’m looking forward to going back again.“
