“I love that they’re open early & the food is absolutely amazing! I eat here a lot, never been dissatisfied - especially with the chicken and waffles which is coming to the menu soon. I even recommended them to friends and they absolutely loved it. Fantastic establishment ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“A beautiful spot, a place for a special occasion and they recognize and treat you well. It is pricey compared to most places in Pittsburgh but the view, the service and the food make it excellent. The service is energetic and attentive, they accommodate special requests and make dining there very special.“

“We decided to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary at Eddie V's. We had dined there before and enjoyed the experience. When we got to our table, it was beautifully decorated with rose petals and had an anniversary card for us. This was such an unexpected, special touch. We started our meal with the wedge/bacon salad and decided to share it. It was garnished with well-done bacon strips and the dressing was freshly made. We both had seafood choices for our entrees - the jumbo shrimp stuffed with seafood and scallops with polenta. The seafood was fresh, tasty, and beautifully prepared. We had the Russian River chardonnay to accompany the entrees. The surprise was the dessert complimentary by the restaurant. It was bananas Foster, 2 chocolate cookies, and a dollop of ice cream. Our server, Leidi (spelling?) was great. She lit the bananas Foster and truly made the dinner have a dramatic and very tasty ending. The restaurant manager, Christine, came over to chat with us and ask us about our dinner. The restaurant is nicely appointed and the seating is not crowded. Valet parking on Oliver Street is convenient. You can go from car to restaurant and not have to carry a coat. We will return and so glad we celebrated our anniversary at Eddie V's!“

“🌟 A Sushi Delight in Downtown Pittsburgh! 🌟 If you’re a sushi lover, you absolutely must try the Spider Roll at Luke Wholey’s Wild Alaskan Grille. This incredible roll is a symphony of textures and flavors that will leave your taste buds dancing with joy. Imagine biting into a perfectly crispy USDA soft shell crab, complemented by the fresh crunch of asparagus and cucumber, the creamy richness of avocado, and the delightful pop of masago. This roll is huge and too big for our chopstick skills, so we used our fingers! Each piece is generously topped with a luscious combination of eel sauce, spicy sauce, and a sprinkle of scallions, adding a perfect balance of sweet, savory, and spicy notes. For just $19, you get 10 pieces of this culinary masterpiece, making it not only a delicious treat but also a fantastic value. Whether you’re a sushi aficionado or just looking to try something new, the Spider Roll at Luke Wholey’s is a must-try experience in the heart of Pittsburgh. 🍣✨“

“I am so sorry that I ate my food before I could take a pic of it 🤦🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤣🤣🤣 All I can say is that this place surprised the heck out of me! I really didn't expect the food to be THIS good! I came into town from Cleveland, Ohio, and my cousin recommended this place to me (we went together). I told them I was going to write a review on how deli the food is, and how won the service was as well. Kudos to you guys. You really know how to cook. I recommended the fish and wings. It's near Kennywood, so if you plan on spending some time at the park, please give Al's a try. It's really not designed for dining in, hence the three stars for atmosphere. 😉“

“So, Red Lobster in Pleasant Hills was clean and had a menu with many options. I chose the shrimp skewers and added a scallop one. They were tasty. I added a side of Brussel sprouts. They were delicious. The biscuits were good. The baked potato was done well. All of the staff were friendly . It’s worth a return visit to try the Salmon Bowl or maybe the flounder.“

“Tugboats is everything you want in a neighborhood spot: friendly people, a welcoming vibe, and amazing food. Jimmy's pizza is hands down the best I've had in Pittsburgh so far and I'm from Philly and have eaten pizza all over, including New York. But you have to get down there early because they sell out of pizza often.
Momma Jackie and the staff treat everyone like family, and they absolutely adore my dog Freya with water, treats, and plenty of love. The deck is the perfect place to sit back with a slice, a drink, and your pup.“

“This is one of my absolute favorite places in Pittsburgh during the warmer months. I feel like I’m on vacation. The food is delicious. My favorite part is the outdoor seating near the water. I wish Pittsburgh had more places to hang out and have a meal by the water.“

“My dad had this bomb food catered for a family event and this place just secured a bunch of new customers. For the 30+ ppl, each tray tasted homemade - like your family was serving the family classics. We had the most tender n juicy ribs (Carolina gold - 🔥), wings 🔥, mac 🔥, greens🔥, cornbread🤤.... and here's the best part - it wasn't heavy at all. You know it's good when them to-go plates were packed and there was nothing left! That's what I'm talkin bout. Will definitely be back soon!“
