“If you're craving a solid mix of Chinese and Japanese dishes, China Garden Inn Restaurant is a local gem that hits the spot. Their daily lunch specials keep things fresh and affordable, and the cozy neighborhood vibe makes it feel like a welcoming spot to unwind. I love how they balance classic flavors with friendly service every time I visit.“

“There should not be so many negative reviews for this establishment. It seems like the people who are upset are just upset that they couldn’t scam the employees lol. I love the food here. It tastes better than most local takeout Chinese restaurants. I highly recommend the pepper chicken and generals chicken. Everything I’ve eaten here is sooooo delicious and the portions are HUGE!! I got two different chickens, roasted potatoes, and lo mein and it was 13 dollars and some change and they absolutely STUFF the container to the brim! Also the employees are not the least bit rude, there’s just a slight language barrier. Thats why people are being so rude. Don’t believe the reviews!“
“Master wok is one of my favorite places to get Chinese food. Their fried rice and Lo mein are absolutely perfect every time. My only complaint is the soaring prices and the small portions. They usually give me a ton of noodles with little rice. I always end up asking for extra and that’s another charge but hey. I’ve loved their food since I was a kid so I’ll always come back. Hopefully the prices start to come back down though.“

“Christina was such a nice person and knows her job . I have a Gluten allergy and she was knowledgeable and guided us through the menu. Great food. Great service. It's one of our favorite hangs.
Dietary restrictions: Nice gluten free menu options. Never any reactions after our meal.“

“I love the lemon grass soup w/the scallops & shrimp & rice noodles. It’s actually the only thing I have been getting there for the past 2 years. Yesterday the scallops were HUGE & whole...they’re usually broken, small ones!“

“The Mongolian Beef was absolutely fantastic! Tender slices of beef cooked perfectly with just the right amount of spice. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely coming back for more!“

“I was looking for roast crispy duck. I didn't want to go to Chinatown because its gotten rundown, yucky traffic, expensive parking and horrible SEPTA. I decided to stay in my neighborhood so I could walk. I worried about it being expensive. Chestnut Hill is high end and the restaurant looked pricey. What a WONDERFUL SURPRISE! I was a solo table but still treated like a queen with lots of servers checking in, giving water and smiling. The roast duck in black bean sauce on the cast iron plate was SCRUMPTIOUS. It comes with a healthy side of white rice and delicate, flavorful bok choi. The skin was crispy yet NOT oily or greasy. The CHUNKS of tender duck meat were excellent. The sauce was thick, savory and yummy. FOODGASM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The portion was so healthy that I was able to take a container home for lunch the next day. Then I ordered the Mudslide ice cream pie for dessert. PERFECTION. Dense, creamy, sweet but not cloying with nut accents, fresh strawberries and cream as garnish. Cool treat on a humid Summer night. When the bill came, I was shocked that it was less than $40. I did not order a cocktail because I wanted to concentrate on the food. I gave them a big tip and said I am absolutely returning. I am also addicted to their spring rolls too. Two perfect crunchy flaky rolls filled with a balanced combination of shrimp, cheese, and cabbage that you can dip in duck sauce or mustard or just enjoy plain.“

“Excellent food, especially if you go early for dim sum, and the staff is polite and efficient. I usually get an order of string beans or whatever green veg I see first, then we pick from the rotating carts. I'ma say yes to everything that has shrimp. Lol. You can request custom orders during sim sum hours, too, FYI.
I've been there at night for traditional ordering, and that was really good, as well, but I like a little bit of everything, so I love dim sum.
Impressive space, too -- The chandeliers always catch my eye. I've seen several large events there, and there's a private dining room as well.“

“This new Chinese restaurant inside the Giant supermarket is under new management... The food is a lot better than the previous Chinese food that had been there for years. I would definitely recommend... it is a perfect place for lunch which I get almost every work day. You can order off the menu or get something from the hot bar... So try out the food and give them a chance.“
