“I work down the street and have tried just about every hoagie in the area, and Yortys is hands down the best. Prices are too, fresh rolls, fresh meat, cheese, and toppings. Staff is quick and friendly and I can’t say that I have ever had a problem there. Being able to grab a six pack is a nice bonus when you don’t want to have to go to a beer distributor. “I bought two quarts of their soup Chicken Orzo Italian Wedding They were absolutely delicious! I didn’t have to add anything because they were seasoned perfectly. They carefully packaged the soup so it didn’t leak, and even added crackers and spoons. I love all the work they’re doing in the shop to make it more updated. Everything was clean and organized and the lunchmeat I bought was fresh and delicious. The staff members are friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable. I will definitely be back soon!“

“Decent little place on the corner of fifth and Fisher. Their customers here are mostly regulars, however they have a nice little assortment of drinks, snacks, and knick-knacks. I went in there for a sandwich and discovered that they have home made Spanish food (hot) everyday and it sells out quick. I have gotten something there everyday since I have been in Philly and it always has been top notch and plentiful. I platter was only 7 or 8 bucks and it was absolutely outstanding. You need to go try this extremely clean and friendly place out and get yourself some authentic home made food. Well worth the trip“
