“I ordered a couple trays of pizza today, and when I stopped to pick them up….they fine folks at D’arc’s had given my pizzas to another person.

But….they took this as an opportunity to build relationships with customers!!

(Not that I needed help. I’ve been eating their pizza for 40+ years!).

But they made it right with me, and their pizza is as great as always!“

“I ordered a large stromboli and garlic knots yesterday around 3pm. When I arrived to pick up my order it was not busy and no vehicles were in the parking lot and my order was sitting on top of the pizza oven. When I got home we cut the stromboli and the cheese wasn't even melted! it was cold in the middle!!! totally unacceptable!! I had to bake the stromboli in my oven to finish cooking it... the garlic knots weren't soggy and had so much bitter garlic they were inedible!!! I was very disappointed with the quality of my order. Being that my order was just sitting on top of the pizza oven boxed up it could have been cooked longer, obviously there was time!! When the owner is working my food is always perfect and always delicious!! But yesterday I did not see him and it shows in the food quality!! And support local fee?? what?? Is that a new tax???“

“Delicious food! It's actually a blast from the past for me as my wife worked at JoJo pizza in 1983 when we started dating. Just seeing the sign brings back fond memories of being a much younger healthier man. Food is as good as it was 40 years ago.“

“I ordered the Rigatoni with the Pink sauce (a mix of marinara and alfredo). The sauce is really thick, creamy, and cheesey. I am personally picky on my Alfredo. It's like the Alfredo sauce at Olive Garden. You can definitely tell there is cream cheese in it just from looking at it. It's also a huge portion of food. I'd give the pink sauce a 6/10.“

“My son and I are very very impressed with their quality of food as well as the quantities of food their pricing is well within my budget in all honesty their portion sizes in my opinion are ideal I wound up ordering one of their 19-in subs had dinner as well as lunch the next day very impressed and greatly appreciative from this old war veteran

“i honestly think this might be the best restaurant in Johnstown. The fried mozzarella was amazing. Better than the high-end restaurant's mozzarella. The salad was good but can live without it(the side salad that is) But the bread. it tastes exactly like how my mom used to make it. It was soft, warm, and tasty. one of the best things I tried for being so simple. I was hoping for alfredo but didn't see it so I got the garlic oil pasta. It was good on its own but REALLY good with parmasan on it. it tasted like a less creamy version of alfredo“

“I ordered over the phone for lunch for a few coworkers and I. We got the xl pepperoni and the pretzel nuggets. We all absolutely loved the food and felt it was a great value. The service was great as well. We will definitely be ordering from there again!!“

“This is the best pizza I have eaten in Johnstown. Nice and gooey. Topping proportions are good. Flavor is excellent. The Margherita Pizza tastes like something I ate in Rome.“

“I love how many different options they have at this location..but they hired new plp who are so rude and rush you on the phone and end up messing up the order..I have yet to complain about it until now bc I was hoping they would change but it hasn't so please change your customer service voice and take the time to hear the customers. We order from this location 4 times a week bc in our area the options are slim so please work on that!“

“Service was really good. Waitress was personable and friendly. Food was good too. My hamburger was served on their bread rather than a bun. The bread really made the burger better in my opinion. There was a generous serving of French fries as well.“

“Ordered 2 Stromboli 's My Stromboli I wanted everything it came with except no ham & wanted double pepperoni. For some reason they put ham on my order. It was good, except the ham tasted old. WHEN I WENT TO EAT IT I HAD TO REHEAT IT CUZ IT WAS A LITTLE WARM JUST WARM I HAD NO PROBLEM WITH THAT BUT ALL THE INGREDIENTS WAS IN THE MIDDLE THERE WAS NONE ON THE ENDS IT WAS REALLY DOUGHY. “Went for lunch with my daughter got the lunch special. Salad, cavatelli with meat sauce, wood fired margarita pizza, a cup of wedding soup, 2 gelatos, and 2 drinks. Could not believe how good and cheap. $23 and change for both of us. Definitely will go back!“

“This was the first time at this restaurant. The food was very tasty. I ordered the chicken basket, I was surprised at how large the chicken tenders were and cooked perfectly, the fries were also good. Nothing against bar food, but it was typical "bar food" it was very good though. Had a pitcher of beer which unfortunately wasn't very cold to begin with and just got even warmer more quickly due to the fact it was ridiculously hot inside the restaurant. Apparently, the air conditioner was not in working order. It almost made it unbearable to actually enjoy the meal. I'm sure they'll try to remedy that soon. I will say however the young lady who was our server and the other servers were very friendly, attentive and polite, a big plus for any establishment in my book.“

“Jan is an amazing waitress she was so kind and made you feel like you were eating around the family dinner table. I spilled my drink and she came over right away and started cleaning and made me feel better by making me laugh. Jan deserves to be recognized for her service and the way she tends to her customers.

“What a great place to get a bite to eat and have a drink! It's clean, drinks are cold, the staff is always friendly, and has always been a nice crowd when there. Highly recommend!

Parking: Their alfredo mac n' cheese is amazing!“

“So, along with some friends my husband and I stopped by Friday(4/7) night. We would have never stopped by it wasn't for our friends suggestion. I love this "new" hole in the wall place. There are very few places my husband feels comfortable at. Southmont Gardens is now one of those places. Keep up the good work“

“Food was ready about 5 mins earlier than the quickest time the tracker anticipated. Friendly and communicative folks inside who seemed to stress importance on everyone being on the same page with each order. Food is on par with other PJs.

Parking: Not many spots in front of the store but ample parking in the shopping center that surrounds it, if needed.“

“Quality food, good service, both in house and to go, Good cheese blend and dough for the pies, with a decent amount of toppings. Salads are large and filling . Prices match what you get on the plate.

Parking: Not the most well-maintained parking lot that is not Capri's fault

“The Buffalo chicken pizza was really good but the wings were great!! They weren't very crispy(which I prefer, personal preference)but the flavor was delicious, almost tasted like they had been roasted(?). Will definitely order the wings again the next time I stop!“
