“I had a very disappointing experience at Media's Towne House this past weekend. During a private party I attended, my husband was unfairly flagged by the staff without any clear explanation or warning. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional, especially considering the event was private and meant to be a fun and relaxed atmosphere. I expected better treatment and transparency from a business that hosts events. This incident has definitely made me reconsider ever returning in the future.“

“I never write reviews but I ordered a gumbo from this restaurant that made me sit up straight in my chair and my hairs stand on end. Maybe the best gumbo I've ever had, counting multiple visits to New Orleans. I've had their shrimp and barbecue and everything is great. Folks working there are friendly as well. “Finally stopped in after hearing good things about the pizza. It is a good pizza. Tight, thin crust with a good crisp. Flavor is on point. I would rate this pie a 7.7. I consider that to be a reputable score, as most DelCo pizza is in the 6's. I also got a cheesesteak. Also very good! Flavor of this steak is superb. Balanced amount of meat, cheese, onion. It's not huge, but this steak, an order of fries, and a drink, you will leave full. The staff are friendly, and everything looks clean. I mean, it is a shed basically. But a very clean shed. Lol. Prices are also very, very reasonable. Definitely worth a try!“

“After reading about the real estate and trademark dispute in the law journal recently I decided to drive to Philly and visit the original Jim’s Steak West from 1939 that predates Jim’s South Street. Cool back story and legal wrangling to resuscitate this business. We enjoyed the neighborhood and the business started to fill up as Church let out with everybody in their Sunday best. Ordered a Philly Cheese Steak, Kosher Hoagie and Banana pudding which was all delicious.“

“It was a early afternoon lunch for my wife and I as we had business in the area and we decided on Wilson's and what a surprise right from the start the location was great the inside decor was exceptionally really nice clean and fitting for a barbecue restaurant the atmosphere and service was great as well a big shout out and thanks to Kelly our server who was more than gracious in making sure we were taking care of as for the food I hand the brisket cheese steak I highly recomened trying its a winner ! My wife had the brisket tacos she loved them both were coupled with the secret barbecue sauce which is a standout we had two orders of wings and fried pickles for our appetizers both had great flavor and were well made some of the best that I've had any were .. I definitely recomened giving Wilsons a try if you love barbecue like I do . Thanks Wilsons catch you next visit....☺️“

“This place is so good! Everything I’ve gotten has been delicious. My one and only complaint is that it could be a cleaner. Far too many customers come in for the dining room to be neglected. Having said that, Freddy’s has the best hotdogs, custard, and shoestring fries I’ve ever eaten. A location should be opened in Philly.“

“Been a patron of this Applebees for years and found it silly how I haven't given a review yet. Never had any issues here. Rather the experience was in person or through an online order. The staff is always courteous and lovely. There's been some occassions in ehich the manager eould come around asking of how the staff service is. And I never recall being dissatisfied while here. Wish I could be a bit more critical but I always know what to expect when I come here. Good food and good people.

If I would critique anything, there were only a handful of times in which a staff member had us waiting a bit for curbside...but one just has to take into account that this is a restaurant in which the employees are working together but also on top of taking care of the customers who are dining in. And when the service was a bit late, the employees were always very courteous by giving an apology or communicating the wait time to us out in the cars. Once again, I give them total grace as it's a rare occasion.“
