I quickly became a regular customer at Mel's because of the quality and price of the food, and the selection of beverages, and, most importantly, because of Mel and Chris and their team. I wont attempt to name all the friends I made at Mel's for fear of leaving someone out, but the kindness of the staff and the patrons at Mel's Pizzeria speak volumes about Mel and Chris and the kind of business they operate. Mel's Pizzeria is a clean, friendly, and safe place with excellent food and service. I recommend Mel's Pizzeria without hesitation.”

“I’m from Latrobe but, I love taking my nephew for his Saturday soccer games. I dropped him and went in search of local coffee. Coco Coffeehouse is where I landed and I ordered a Shamrock Latte with a BLT breakfast sandwich to go so I could get back to the field. Legit the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had and I live close enough to Ruthie’s (RIP 😭) in Ligonier to have it as a regular breakfast spot. Latte was perfect and didn’t even make it back to the field. Keep doing what you’re doing! I’ll see you on the next soccer run.”

“Great little roadside pub. Inside atmosphere is relative to Pittsburgh team themes with the entirety of the ceiling tiles painted in alternating black and gold squares. Daily specials are listed on the white board with something to offer all 7 days of the week. The biggest turnout is on wing night which draws a crowd large enough to cause an overflow of cars in the parking lot. We did, quite accidentally, arrive on a wing night and we're lucky to find a seat. So 'when in Rome' as it were, we did get 2 half dozen orders of wings to sample at least 2 of the flavors. We were pleasantly surprised to actually find a place that knows what the words hot and spicy are meant to be. The wings had a very nice outer crisp. The meat in half of them was definitely on the dryer side of the spectrum, but remained edible. I make no judgment on this given the extremely busy atmosphere and will definitely give them another go on a less busy day.
The fan favorite at our table is a clever item called 'Clydes famous balls'. The cooks take a nice sized dough ball, fill it with the specific ingredients per menu description, wrap it all up, and then deep fry the whole darn thing. Flavors include pepperoni, reuben, cheeseburger, taco, steak and cheese, chicken bacon ranch, and probably at least one other. Come hungry because these guys are big and shareable! We are talking small cantaloupe size and there is no shortage of filling within. Definitely recommend trying these out if you're not afraid of developing a strange craving to go back over and over again. We also enjoyed a side of the zucchini planks which were done just right ( not too thick & not too thin for the breading). Clyde is it's own niche and a great fit for the area. If you find yourself on the backwoods of Cadogan for any reason (even if you're lost), don't leave without stopping in here!”

“I was very impressed with the customer service. I called Saturday evening with a specific pizza order that another pizza place continues to mess up no matter how many times I clarify. The worker that took my order asked me to repeat it to make sure he had it correctly and even read it back to me. When we got our pizza it was made perfectly. So many others look over the fine details and Vocellis took care of us!”

The fries were really good with seasoning and the ranch is very good. My husband loves his hot sausage. The portions were big and everyone was friendly.”
