“I’ve been coming here almost every week, and my experiences have been consistently great. On my first visit, I had an issue with my order, but the manager resolved it quickly and made things right. I appreciated how professionally it was handled, so I decided to give them another chance.

Since then, every visit has gone smoothly. The food is always fresh, my orders are accurate, and the staff is friendly and helpful. They do a great job accommodating requests and making sure everything is right“

“I’ve walked by this spot so many times, and it seemed every time I was hungry they were closed (closed on weekends) but today I finally stepped in. I ordered 2 bánh mìs and a Vietnamese coffee. Pete, the owner/operator of the spot was the only one there and we instantly jumped into great conversation about the music scene in Philly back in the late 90s. We ended up knowing a lot of the same people. Philly is a tight knit group. So even before eating the food I was already a fan of this spot. Pete served me his special take on Vietnamese coffee while we talked and he made the sandwiches. The iced coffee was excellent, but different and less sweet than Vietnamese coffee I’ve had in the past. He also used ice cubes made of coffee which was an added bonus for a coffee junkie like myself. After we talked for nearly 20 min, I walked home with my sandwich and WOW! Such a solid bánh mì! I told him to make it like he would make it for himself (spicy) and he knocked it out of the park. I’ll be back and I’ll be bringing all my music friends here when they are in the neighborhood. I highly encourage Olde City residents as well as Philly locals to give this place a try!“

“Was craving cheese fries and heard Poe’s has great ones. Can confirm the cheese sauce itself was very tasty. I wish the fries were crispier, they seemed like natural hand cut fries but got too soggy. Some sogginess is expected with hot gooey cheese on top, but I’ve had crispier.

“Found this spot on DoorDash and ordered the braised beef “cheese steak”. It was worth the money for sure! Sandwich was a good size and had a good flavor. My only issue was the sandwich was a bit too salty for my preference. Other than that I really enjoyed it and will be ordering again soon.“

“These empanadas are amazing! I bought two each of the chicken, beef and cheesesteak and they were all great. They are a good size, the meat is juicy and the dough is perfectly fried.

Provolone was sharp and mature and pulled the relatively flavourless pork together. The peppers gave me something to fight against as I ploughed through the soggy bread and colourless hanks of pork that could’ve done with some seasoning

“Every once in a while I’ll buy a hoagie, and then I immediately regret it as not worth the health risk. Whether the bread wasn’t fresh, whatever the case. I’m down to around 2 per year. THIS hoagie is worth it. No regrets. The Liscio’s bread is fresh and delicious, the Dietz and Watson deli meats are fresh and thinly cut. The price was also reasonable at $11.95 for a standard Italian Hoagie with oil and oregano. The atmosphere is like the favorite hoagie place we all had growing up.“

“Listen, I know this is just a Jersey Mike’s but it wasn’t to me. I take my subs very seriously! We were in town and needed a fast dinner, and I want to really shout out the crew around 5pm on Dec 21! They took my order over the phone because I wanted something specific, me and the lady were laughing while I placed my order! When I arrived, my order was ready so much faster than I thought and the two male employees were so kind!

Despite of the bad ones I decided to try it for myself I bought there cheesesteak fries and soda lunch special along with a brisket sandwich I also upgraded my fries to the Spanish fries, let me tell you something I wasn’t disappointed at all everything was great, flavorful, and hot it’s definitely a place to go to when I’m down the city!
