“I’ve been coming here almost every week, and my experiences have been consistently great. On my first visit, I had an issue with my order, but the manager resolved it quickly and made things right. I appreciated how professionally it was handled, so I decided to give them another chance.

Since then, every visit has gone smoothly. The food is always fresh, my orders are accurate, and the staff is friendly and helpful. They do a great job accommodating requests and making sure everything is right“

“My wife and I had the Korean Chicken and Spicy Chicken, both of which were outstanding. The fries and pickled beans were also tasty. We were served quickly and the service was friendly and attentive.“

“I’ve walked by this spot so many times, and it seemed every time I was hungry they were closed (closed on weekends) but today I finally stepped in. I ordered 2 bánh mìs and a Vietnamese coffee. Pete, the owner/operator of the spot was the only one there and we instantly jumped into great conversation about the music scene in Philly back in the late 90s. We ended up knowing a lot of the same people. Philly is a tight knit group. So even before eating the food I was already a fan of this spot. Pete served me his special take on Vietnamese coffee while we talked and he made the sandwiches. The iced coffee was excellent, but different and less sweet than Vietnamese coffee I’ve had in the past. He also used ice cubes made of coffee which was an added bonus for a coffee junkie like myself. After we talked for nearly 20 min, I walked home with my sandwich and WOW! Such a solid bánh mì! I told him to make it like he would make it for himself (spicy) and he knocked it out of the park. I’ll be back and I’ll be bringing all my music friends here when they are in the neighborhood. I highly encourage Olde City residents as well as Philly locals to give this place a try!“

“Today we had the sausage and peppers breakfast sandwich, and it was fabulous. We’ve also had Bud’s breakfast wrap, Smalls’ Italian sandwich, and one of our favorites is the Chicken Cutlet sandwich. Fantastic sandwiches. Fresh ingredients, great flavors, and consistently friendly service. Having lived in the neighborhood our entire lives, my husband, son and I all agree that it’s one of the best additions to the area!“

“Was craving cheese fries and heard Poe’s has great ones. Can confirm the cheese sauce itself was very tasty. I wish the fries were crispier, they seemed like natural hand cut fries but got too soggy. Some sogginess is expected with hot gooey cheese on top, but I’ve had crispier.

THIS hoagie is worth it. No regrets. The Liscio’s bread is fresh and delicious, the Dietz and Watson deli meats are fresh and thinly cut. The price was also reasonable at $11.95 for a standard Italian Hoagie with oil and oregano. The atmosphere is like the favorite hoagie place we all had growing up.“

“Visiting Newtown PA and I was craving a REAL Italian hoagie after moving to VA years ago. Can't get a good one out by us. Ordered the Italian Supreme, a turkey, and a crab cake sub. Finally! A place that makes a meat log Italian sub the way I like. They even had the sweet peppers I like. The crab cake sub was also great with a nice meaty crabcake that had a slightly sweet flavor. I understand the Newtown location is new and getting established. They made a minor mistake with our order and made it right above and beyond. After a miscommunication with my in person order this week, I had kindly emailed Eric just to simply make him aware of the ordering mistake. “I had to get a philly cheesesteak while in Philadelphia, so I asked around. Everyone recommended checking out the legendary DiNic's Roast Pork sandwich, so then we were torn. The group of us decided to order both and split it. Best decision of all! Definitely loved the option of adding veggies on top for some healthy greens.“

“These empanadas are amazing! I bought two each of the chicken, beef and cheesesteak and they were all great. They are a good size, the meat is juicy and the dough is perfectly fried.

Despite of the bad ones I decided to try it for myself I bought there cheesesteak fries and soda lunch special along with a brisket sandwich I also upgraded my fries to the Spanish fries, let me tell you something I wasn’t disappointed at all everything was great, flavorful, and hot it’s definitely a place to go to when I’m down the city! Like other Primo locations, the store is small, but the staff is focused on getting your order, making your order, and getting you on your way quickly. I love the crusted roll, sesame seeds, and for me the Diablo Italian Hoagie is the right balance of spice, meat, pickles, and sweet & hot peppers.“
