“I just had to leave a review to tell everyone how absolutely delicious your cupcakes are!!! Our family brought a variety for Easter dessert and they were the best cupcakes I have had in a very long time! Even better…they are PEANUT FREE!!!! This was the first time my son, 18 years old, had a cupcake from an actual bakery! That means the world to this mom!! I think he ate at least three!! Thank you so very much for your dedication to not only making amazing and delicious treats, but giving the peanut/nut free community a safe place to go to enjoy desserts. Although you are not local to us, I would take a trip to support such a wonderful LGBTQIA+, women-owned, and peanut free bakery!!!“

“I was so excited when I discovered that Brewerytown Bakery is completely vegan. I’ve started going on occasional weekend mornings for a London Fog boba and a loaf of bread. “I would grittyerally go here every day if I could, and now their new location is closer to me, so I don't even have to go all the way up to Manayunk to get the world's best sweet treats. Every time I need a birthday cake for someone I come here. Also did you know their head chef was the chef in residence at the Philadelphia Museum of Art??!“

What impressed me most was the incredible thought and detail she put into every aspect of the gift; it wasn't just a generic basket, but a beautifully curated collection that felt deeply personal. The recipient commented on how beautiful it was! Michele’s passion for her work and her commitment to her customers are evident in every detail.“

“We were visiting from out of town and stumbled upon this gem! The food was delicious and the staff was kind, inviting and friendly! Our waitress has friends and family from our area back home so it was nice to have that connection with her! Highly recommend and we will be back for sure next time we visit the Philadelphia area!“

“Karla catered a baby shower for us and the food was absolutely delicious and was presented beautifully!! Everyone kept saying how much they loved it! Karla is wonderful to work with. She has a true gift and I highly recommend her! Natalie brought and set up the food and was our server. She was wonderful!“

“Goodness gracious, where do I begin without writing a book?As a major foodie I'm all about great food & Gilben's certainly didn't disappoint.I purchased a chicken cheesesteak w/fries, half of a chicken, yams & stuffn.Not only were both meals absolutely devine, the portions were quite generous and there's a large variety to choose from!I've already decided what my next treat will be for next week.People, you can't go wrong at Gilben's...I promise.“

“The manager here, Amar, has excellent customer service—there aren’t even enough stars to give him! Lol. I made a purchase and when I got home, I realized one item was missing. I called the store the next day and the manager got right on it. He looked into the issue, contacted me, and I was able to get my missing item.“

“I came tonite on a very busy nite .. wit prolly the 3 most annoying’est teenagers .. who are annoying for sport .. Frank Z helped us and he was AMAZING .. super sweet and patient .. takes a lot to deal wit those 3 .. he didn’t flinch and took everything they threw at him .. he made it a very enjoyable experience for me .. that boy needs a raise !!! Thank u Frank .. I will be back !! Without the Stooges next time 🤣“
