“n January 2018, the winter chill settled heavily over Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania. Inside the Villegas household, the air was filled with the usual lively hum of family life. Miguel Villegas, the patriarch, sat in the living room discussing local news with Manuel and Raul, while Ana Cortez and Yani Villegas moved between the kitchen and the dining area, planning a quiet evening in.
However, for Junior Villegas, the night called for a reunion. He had arranged to meet two of his closest friends, Christopher Gola and Rosemarie Antonelli, who had made the hour-long drive down from Moosic, PA. The trio had a long-standing tradition of catching up over a meal, and they chose a familiar landmark for their meeting: the Applebee's Grill + Bar in Wyomissing.
When Junior arrived at the Paper Mill Road location, Christopher and Rosemarie were already waiting by the entrance, bracing against the biting January wind. The warmth of the restaurant was a welcome relief. They were seated in a corner booth, the glowing amber lights of the bar providing a cozy backdrop for their conversation.
Over plates of appetizers and classic burgers, the conversation flowed effortlessly. Christopher and Rosemarie shared stories of life in Moosic, while Junior caught them up on the latest happenings with Miguel, Manuel, and the rest of the family back in Sinking Spring. For a few hours, the outside world—and the freezing Pennsylvania winter—didn't matter. They laughed about old memories and toasted to the new year, enjoying the simple comfort of good company in a booth at the Wyomissing Applebee's“

“First of all, without further ado, or any ado for that matter, a hearty❤️shout out to four of the best bartenders who know their craft, their customers, and the meaning of the word comraderie. They know how to pour, what to pour, and who to pour it for. I never name names, but in this case, I will set a new precedent. Kudos to Kyle, Paige, Bailey, and Ryan. Each of whom, it would seem, come from different worlds and life experiences. All of whom are going places, be it in academic education, hospitality, entrepreneurship, or perhaps being the best at building a conventional life with style, love of life, family, and humanity in the aggregate. Dare I say it, the last of a dying breed.I've met some of the most fun and prolific characters at 24 who've made me feel at home in Pennsylvania, although I am from afar, i.e. Philly . The kind of folks who go out of their way to say hello as they make their way to the bar.Sometimes, after work, feeling a bit peckish, I will peruse the menu and discover some great interpretations of salads (Caesar) and snacks (Truffle fries) that hit the spot and keep me busy enjoying one of my favorite past times: eating. And from what I've seen at various and sundry tables at various times through the course of any given evening, this kitchen delivers hearty inspired entrees sure to give you reason to give positive word of mouth with regard to culinary talent. For myself, I'm going in - and intend to try nearly every item on the menu. One of the many reasons to make this establishment one of your (and my) weekly go-to's. See you at the bar.P.S. “I had a fantastic experience! Julia greeted me with a smile when I picked up my takeout order. Karli at the bar was also amazing; she walked me through so many great food and drink options. I'm definitely coming back. The food was good, but the service was even better!“

“Amazing. I had a review up from 7 months ago (also a 5 star review BTW), but I wanted to elaborate more on their food and service. I was there last night celebrating my son's birthday . Their food was exceptionally made to perfection . Every single item we ordered was perfect. Thank you to the kitchen staff they go unmentioned I feel in a lot of reviews. Thank you to our server Sinai.You were awesome. Ultimate feast platter was and is always amazing also dragon calamari must try. People reading my review you need to go there and try it . This restaurant needs to have more people in it because the 4.3 rating shouldn't scare people away . It should be a 5 star restaurant. “My son and I ate at the works restaurant about 2 months ago. He had the Chesapeake Bay Pasta. He said it was good. I had the bone-in wings. They were the biggest wings I’ve even seen. They were the size of a turkey leg. I ate 5 and was full. I took the rest home. I went again last week with my wife and son. He had the firecracker chicken salad. He said it was really good. My wife had the fajitas and said they had no flavor. She said it needed seasoning. I had the wings again. This time, they were the smallest wings I’ve ever seen. They were the size of my pinky. I finished them all and was still hungry. Not sure how they went from being the size of a Nyquil bottle down to the size of a squirrels foot.“

“Never had a bad experience here. One of the employees kinda was little irritable when I asked a question but not that big of a deal. The food us always good. Burgers are always juicy and tender. The buns are soft and moist and the toppings are fresh and delicious. The fries are fantastic!! Highly recommend if you havent been. If you had a bad experience you might want to give them a second chance. It is a good burger well worth the money.“

“They have good food. We happened to go on a day that was really busy, and they had run out of some of the choices we wanted. It was the holiday and I take it they were extremely busy over the holiday. I will say, their food is good though.“
