“This is a hidden gem in reading. The smoothies and fruit bowl were so refreshing. We really felt refreshed after a long day. The Acai fruit bowl is just too good. The staff were very friendly and courteous. I recommend this place to everyone.“
“Checked out Spenny’s this past week while on a little trip to the Reading area. Checked out Tony’s a couple years ago and had been hearing I should check this place out and after looking over the menu, I agreed!Decided to go with “The Classic Jawn” - cooper sharp wit, and an order of the loaded tots that I split with my friend (who got herself a chicken cheesesteak). The woman who helped us at the counter, and the woman who brought the food/drinks to the table were both very friendly. The decor was also very cool. They had a fun neon sign and the one wall was littered with various reading and Philly lore. The loaded tots came with bacon and a sauce that was like an American cheese sauce and ranch hybrid. The tots were nice and crispy even with all of the wet and heavy stuff on them and the flavor was very good. I’d get these anytime I stopped here. The classic jawn was a very good steak. I felt at $13 that the amount of meat was perfectly fine but I could see people complaining…it’s what they do ??♂️. Ribeye with cooper sharp and a small dice onion on a seeded Corropolese roll. It was exactly what I’d hoped for when heading in.I’d go back for sure and I’d order the same exact thing. Spenny’s in Reading, PA - Didn’t Suck!“
“I have never gotten anything at Plum Creek that I didn't like. The food is always amazing and service is friendly. Expect a little bit of a wait if you come at peak times, as they are usually really busy. The only downside is that it is a little pricey but I don't mind paying a little extra to support a local business.“
“We had my son’s 3rd birthday party here recently and everything was amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful, the space was clean, and the ice cream was amazing. We were allowed to move around tables and hang things on the wall which is really rare when you rent a place for a party. All the guests commented on how amazing this place was. We will definitely be back and will try to have my son’s party here next year.“

“So good! I got the Churro cheesecake crepe and it was delicious. They let the kids sample the ice cream to find the flavor they wanted and the staff was friendly. The menu and ice cream flavors are only written in Spanish though... but they do have pictures so you can see what the items are.“
“It is one of my favorite places to eat some food and ice cream. They have a bunch of different toppings to make your order special. I love their chicken tenders and cheddar fries. The cheese is amazing, and the ranch sauce is just as good."Life is better with ice cream." Well, money can't buy you happiness, but it buys you ice cream, which gives you happiness“
“I came in with my sons to try this different kind of ice cream, I came in to all these flavors and wonderful customer service. I will be returning. Very informative on the flavors and juices the fruit punch was delicious. I bought so many snacks, love trying different foods and ingredients. Check this place out. Right off the 11th street exit area.“
“I was served last night by a boy named Ryan and he was soooo sweet! He got slammed out of nowhere and he handled it so well! He kept his composure and made sure everybody had what they needed! He basically took care of a whole line of people himself, with a smile! I give him so much credit! He was great! What a great employee to have! Thanks! We LOVE our cotton candy ice!“
“Pros-----The ice cream tastes good.Small size should be enough for all ages including kids. They have kid size also which is not mentioned on their menu and perfect size for kids only. They have tables to sit and enjoy the ice & frozen custard.Plenty of parking available back side of the store. They employees work at counter are so patient and clarified all our doubts regarding how each type would be and also they gave some sample of flavor for tasting, so we can taste and decide what we want which is so good.Cons-----They don't have any restroom on the spot. They don't accept Apple/Google Pay. They accept either cash/cards.“
“It’s a great store, we are grateful it is here. Ordering is easy, generally fast, sometimes there has been a crowd here or there, but overall, I’m highly satisfied. Once or twice the cookie I wanted was sold out, which was devastating, but I guess I can’t blame them given they sold out because they were likely delicious. Most of the time, it’s very quick visit, in and out, and I get what I want without any problems. I always appreciate the menu being updated regularly, sometimes a cookie is a mess but overall we love crumbl!“
“Fresh, great tasting, homemade donuts and pastries. I was visiting from out of town and picked up a variety of items from the location on Kutztown Road in Temple. We loved everything. The apple fritter was excellent - it actually had pieces of apple in it! The lady working was friendly and helpful. The prices ranged from $2 - $3.50 an item. There's not much to the place and it's pretty unassuming from the outside, but well worth trying and supporting local!“
“Stopped at Rita's for a gelato. Cherry ice/chocolate ice cream. 1st visit of the season. Was extremely good but got full fast. Will return.Take note. Sizes pack more than one might need. I got a medium, a small would have been enough. Not a complaint just a heads up.“
