I’ve been disappointed with the soup at several other restaurants in the area, but Wild Ginger’s version of it is PHENOMENAL! Loaded with wonderful stock and truly having a sour taste with a subtle kick of spicy. (It’s surprising how many restaurants do not have both.) I could have made a meal out of it. Will definitely be back.”

“A York GEM! Whenever I have any friends from out of town visit, this is a spot I take them too. Located in downtown york right off the main road on Philadelphia Street it is a perfect location! There are 2 floors of nick nacks, TONS of board games, craft table for kids, couches, clothes, paintings and an outside area! the best part is truly the warm/cold drinks and the FOOD! The food surpasses it being just another coffee shop, this place is LGBTQ friendly has well :). Will be back!”

“We went on 2/8/25. Staying at the Hampton inn for a dance comp. Our waiter, unfortunately l, didn’t catch his name was absolutely AMAZING! More people kept getting added to our party, he, without hesitation, added more tables and chairs. He took our orders and separated the checks without us even asking. He just really went above and beyond and was amazing! I hope he gets the recognition he deserves! Thank you again! Food and drinks were 10/10!”

“Visited South County for Valentine’s Day. Their Valentines Day menu was superb. Gabriel was a great Server and had anticipated our needs. The Pan Seared Scallop Appetizer on a Cauliflower Purée with Bacon Lardons with arugula and aged sherry vinegar. The Sweet Potato Crusted Salmon was the star of this menu. Ending with Raspberry Mango Mousse Cake. Our preferred Beer is Dark Thread , a Stout with a Cocoa finish. If you haven’t dined here, you must try our new favorite place.”

“I have been ordering egg plant parm with side of spaghetti since Olive Gard opened in York. Best I have ever had until this evening. The egg plant was mushy and drown in sauce, so disappointed. I was with my family we were there celebrating my 83rd b-day. If I had been there with a small group I would have sent the egg plant back to the kitchen. Please see what is going on with my favorite. Service was out standing.”

“Love everything about Mexitaly. Servers and bartenders are super friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent. My favorites are the fish tacos, large burritos and the Stromboli. I love that they have vegan cheese for us dairy intolerant people. The in-house brewed craft beers are great and so are the local crafted cocktails. They also have live music sometimes on the weekends and a chill vibe.”

My wife got a Belgium Waffle covered in fresh Strawberries. Our order came out fast and looked good. It was hot, tasty, and large portions. My eggs were done perfect and everything on my plate was good. They even buttered my Rye Toast. My wife’s Belgium Waffle was very good, and the fresh strawberries were fresh. We have eaten at this place many times in the past and they have good food, give you large portions at great price. You really can’t go wrong dinning here. WaWa doesn't compare in sub and hamburger area. WaWa is for coffee and a bagel sandwich. Their biggest problem with Glacier Flakes is their new location is not great and their sign is not helping. They need to add some color to the sign to get people's attention and advertise on it for specials, Like Taco Tuesday, Mr Sub Saturday, Wings and Things Thursday you get the point. OK so they don't serve wings, Fish Fry Friday. Anyways I've love their food it is good and solid and the price is good as well.”

Had a long drive home and we arrived at 7:15 and left by 7:50 with full bellies, fun atmosphere, great staff… which was ideal! Highly recommended!”

“I am a local truck driver. As I finished my last delivery almost 2 hours from home. I google “subs near me”. This place popped up. Wasn’t too far out of my way. “I've been here a few times and have ordered out a few dozen times. The food here is good if not very good in my opinion. The Cheese Steak is very good especially on their Turnover bread. The only complaint is a couple of times I felt they under performed on the amount of cheese steak and toppings. The Fries are very good and I've always got nice hot salted just right. The Hamburgers are very good and big enough with fries to fill you up. The pizzas Ive had have been great as well and my girlfriend likes the Chicken, Bacon Ranch one the most and she is not a pizza person. Being from the Philippines she is more of fish eater than American Food. She also like their Chicken Cheese Steak again she doesn't eat red meat at all because in the Philippines she never really ate it, it was to expensive. They have a great selection of beer too, if you go to pick up a little early you can drink something while waiting. Long review but I wanted to get one out since I have always liked my food from there so far. I saw a few really bad reviews about the owner which shouldn't have much to do with their food. Order pickup and you won't even know who the owner is. People get drunk in bars and get kicked out then give a bad review since they evidently did something to draw the owners attention.”
