The star of the show would have been the crab cake but there was nothing special there. The menu says jumbo lump crab. If there was lump crab meat, then they shredded it up to make the cake. I could get a crab cake that good or better almost anywhere. We've had good food here in the past, but unfortunately this meal was nothing special.”

“Went on a busy Friday night but hostess was able to accommodate myself and two daughters. I was in a rush and was pleasantly surprised by the speed of service by the wait staff and kitchen. Everyone was pleasant, food was excellent (kids had burgers and fries and I had the chicken sandwich). Had a long drive home and we arrived at 7:15 and left by 7:50 with full bellies, fun atmosphere, great staff… which was ideal! Highly recommended!”

“My daughter and I stopped in last Sunday for some veggie wraps and coffee. Everything was great from the moment we walked in the door. The coffee shop was immaculately clean, the staff was so friendly and efficient and most importantly the food and coffee were awesome. Definitely will recommend Gather 256 to all. To me it's the best coffee/cafe in York! Thank you to Tyler. Sarah Molly, and Nina (hopefully I have everyone that was there Sunday afternoon) for being so awesome on our first time there. It definitely will be our special stop in York!”

I’ve been disappointed with the soup at several other restaurants in the area, but Wild Ginger’s version of it is PHENOMENAL! Loaded with wonderful stock and truly having a sour taste with a subtle kick of spicy. (It’s surprising how many restaurants do not have both.) I could have made a meal out of it. Will definitely be back.”

“I FINALLY had an opportunity to try their pizza, kiki bread and garlic knots and I was not disappointed.
I liked the seasoning on the pizza and the pepperoni pizza had the little pepperonis which is always a fun surprise!
The kiki bread was savory and cheesy with a drizzle of sweetness.
I had this for takeout at a birthday party. Being that I am no longer local to the York area, I haven't had the opportunity to go to their restaurant, but hopefully one day I will. 😊”

“We went on 2/8/25. Staying at the Hampton inn for a dance comp. Our waiter, unfortunately l, didn’t catch his name was absolutely AMAZING! More people kept getting added to our party, he, without hesitation, added more tables and chairs. He took our orders and separated the checks without us even asking. He just really went above and beyond and was amazing! I hope he gets the recognition he deserves! Thank you again! Food and drinks were 10/10!”

The chef clearly knows how to make dishes taste savory. The beer and wine selection is top notch and our waiter was well educated. There is a piano in the main dining area, though it was not being played during our visit, the vibe of the restaurant conveys it would be an amazing piano bar experience. Oh, did I mention the food was fantastic? There is a bar and lounge upstairs that offers a small and relaxing getaway from the main area on the first floor. Will go back often!”

“So hubby and I ate here today…. As soon as you walk in the smell is incredible and the employees behind the wall greet you very nicely. We were seated immediately and our server Garrett oh my gosh, I don’t even know where to begin. He was fantastic and every meaning of the word he was polite he was funny. He was happy. He was knowledgeable. He was the sweetest person I have ever met in my life and I’ve met a lot of people. More people who own restaurants should have servers like Garrett the compassion inside this person is off the chart he was the sweetest person you’ve ever wanna meet in your life. He knew that menu like nobody’s business. Which in a lot of restaurants, you’re lucky if one of the servers knows what’s on the menu let alone know what it’s about not Garrett. He knew everything and if he didn’t have the answer, he found the answer with Greg the owner who I must say was just as nice and polite and knowledgeable as Garrett. If you wanna try somewhere new and you’ve never been here, you have to try this place. I am telling everybody about this restaurant. The food was phenomenal . We have not one complaint from the front door to the server to our food and out the door again. My husband and I had such a fantastic time here we want Garrett as our server from this point on nobody else I know that probably sounds critical but when you get a good server, that’s who you want every time you go back Garrett was efficient. He was fast. He could walk by your table and grab the dishes without even looking at you. He was that fast. He always checked on us even if it was just for a napkin he’s that good Thank you again Garrett and Greg, the owner for making our day wonderful Thank you for an awesome time Bill and Debbie from Florida”

Becky’s Kitchen is truly one of the homiest, most welcoming little eateries you’ll ever step into! I had been here for lunch a few years ago, but my husband had never experienced it, so we decided to stop in for breakfast—and wow, am I glad we did.
The menu is wonderfully abundant for such a small, quaint place. Everything we ordered was fantastic. The pancake was the fluffiest we have ever had. The egg scramble—mine was the chicken, ham, and cheese—was absolutely delicious. The breakfast potatoes with onions were super flavorful and cooked perfectly. The staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. And I absolutely love the self-serve coffee and tea bar—such a cozy touch!
We also peeked at the lunch menu and already know we’ll be back soon so my husband can try it out next. Becky’s Kitchen is a must-visit spot, whether you’re local or just passing through. Highly, highly recommended!”

We never seen so many prepared pizzas offering slices, I am talking GOURMET slices, like General Tso's pizza, spicy hot options, pizza with onion rings on top, just so many invitation options!!! We had pizza, subs and 2 kinds of cannoli's, all were absolutely over the top yummo (we are foodies, so we know what we are talking about). “So hubby and I ate here today…. As soon as you walk in the smell is incredible and the employees behind the wall greet you very nicely. We were seated immediately and our server Garrett oh my gosh, I don’t even know where to begin. He was fantastic and every meaning of the word he was polite he was funny. He was happy. He was knowledgeable. He was the sweetest person I have ever met in my life and I’ve met a lot of people. More people who own restaurants should have servers like Garrett the compassion inside this person is off the chart he was the sweetest person you’ve ever wanna meet in your life. He knew that menu like nobody’s business. Which in a lot of restaurants, you’re lucky if one of the servers knows what’s on the menu let alone know what it’s about not Garrett. He knew everything and if he didn’t have the answer, he found the answer with Greg the owner who I must say was just as nice and polite and knowledgeable as Garrett. If you wanna try somewhere new and you’ve never been here, you have to try this place. I am telling everybody about this restaurant. The food was phenomenal . We have not one complaint from the front door to the server to our food and out the door again. My husband and I had such a fantastic time here we want Garrett as our server from this point on nobody else I know that probably sounds critical but when you get a good server, that’s who you want every time you go back Garrett was efficient. He was fast. He could walk by your table and grab the dishes without even looking at you. He was that fast. And sometimes I think it takes a little bit too long to get things out of the kitchen especially when they have all the time in the world since everybody at least has somebody at the table that goes to the salad bar which gives them an extra 10 minutes to be able to get the food done. Example this last time it was a good 30 minutes after we ordered food before it came out.
And we were one of only three tables in the whole place at noon.”

“Arrived in town for a short stay from Florida. The minute we arrived we were greeted by professional and young college kids at the hostess stand. We waited for 10 minutes while our table was assigned. Perfect table on the terrace facing the 18th hole. Sarah our hostess from Penn state was a joy to get to know. We all ordered from the huge menu selection and couldnt decide what to order. We saw The table next to us and the presentation looked amazing. “I've been here a few times and have ordered out a few dozen times. The food here is good if not very good in my opinion. The Cheese Steak is very good especially on their Turnover bread. The only complaint is a couple of times I felt they under performed on the amount of cheese steak and toppings. The Fries are very good and I've always got nice hot salted just right. The Hamburgers are very good and big enough with fries to fill you up. The pizzas Ive had have been great as well and my girlfriend likes the Chicken, Bacon Ranch one the most and she is not a pizza person. Being from the Philippines she is more of fish eater than American Food. She also like their Chicken Cheese Steak again she doesn't eat red meat at all because in the Philippines she never really ate it, it was to expensive. They have a great selection of beer too, if you go to pick up a little early you can drink something while waiting. Long review but I wanted to get one out since I have always liked my food from there so far. I saw a few really bad reviews about the owner which shouldn't have much to do with their food. Order pickup and you won't even know who the owner is. People get drunk in bars and get kicked out then give a bad review since they evidently did something to draw the owners attention.”

Crispy outside, juicy inside like something that you'd see in an advertisement - but you actually get it. I had the steak, tenders, broccoli casserole and mashed.
