“Definitely do not come here for the atmosphere or the cleanliness. It hasn't seen a sanitizer since 1980. Literally. It was pretty bad. BUT....we committed to staying because someone gave the food a 5 stars review...and I see why. It was hands down the best breakfast I've had. Every part of that meal was a 5. Only the food, the coffee was awful, so not the beverages, just the food. I was in total shock. That cook needs a raise! Also,it's a shame, someone needs to clean this place up, and give the dining area a face lift. Because, the food their serving deserves to be served on a nice plate, and put on a clean, bought this century, booth. It also smells real bad, they need to open up the windows and let some fresh air in there.“

The Lamb Porterhouse Duo—oh sweet heavenly carnivore joy—I couldn’t help myself, and frankly, I don’t regret a single bite. That lamb didn’t just whisper flavor—it sang a full opera of juicy excellence. But here’s where it got wild: the slawed cucumber side and that complimentary cucumber sauce? 😂🥒 Straight up hijacked my attention like a taste bud ninja. Finely sliced tomatoes, herbs, spices—this plate had more garnishes than a red carpet event, and every one of them was a flavor bomb. And let’s talk staff. The lovely soul who walked me to the cooler to pick out one of the many non-alcoholic beers? Top. Notch. 👏 Sweet, informative, and had the charm level of a rom-com lead. The cook—scratch that, the chef (yup, with an “ef”)—greeted me like I was part of the family. Friendly, clearly seasoned, and the kind of kitchen commander who knows how to orchestrate a food symphony. Between the flavors and the hospitality, this spot hit me like a surprise plot twist in a feel-good movie. I walked in curious and walked out converted. Future me will 100% be back, probably dragging a few friends like, “You have to taste this!” 😂 Tapus Bar? You’ve got a fan. Keep feeding hearts and bellies—I’ll be back!“

“Been going here for nearly 10yrs and it gets better every year. I've been privileged to be there dj for a year now and the staff is like a family. A great time for all. Special events and parties for members which pay for the membership 10 fold. Ashe Club really knows how to have a great time with great people. Hope to see everyone there!“

“This is a private club. Very cheap prices and a nice atmosphere. They finally got rid of one of the worst bartenders I've ever seen. I thought he must have been in the union or something to still have a job there. A lot of good people are members there. Hopefully with a change of bartenders people will come back. Nice club.“

“I knew I was in for somethin special when I walked up into their parkin' field and saw small rocks gravellin it up all fancy like. This upscale establishment had walls from floor to ceiling on all sides. It even had not one, but two doors to go through. And get this, they on the hinges! Wow. But that's nothing compared to what I discovered entering the final door... the floor... i thought they forgot to put da sawdust down and Id be walking on raw dirt, naw, naw, it was better than saw dust. You ever hear of fellers puttin down wood across an entire floor? That must have taken a lot of dedicated non drinkers a lot of time. It nearly brought a tear to my eye to know they cared enough for me to spend all that time for me. I went to look up to the Heavens and thank God, but I couldn't see a cloud in sight. You know that dang place had a roof on it? And not any normal roof, a roof without a hole in it? Well I forgot what happened next, but I woke up in a ditch, pulled out my phone and wrote this review. I'm not sure if it was real or some kind of dream, but if I can find my way back to the country, where all the people want to be nice to everyone(like everyone everyone should learn to be nice to each other) , I'd walk right back in. Love's the way. Love is eternal.“
