Good sized portions. Many hot and cold coffee options. Fast and friendly service from the wait staff and baristas. Good amount of seating. Near a public lot if you can't find street parking. Will definitely stop again when I'm in the area. Update: been here more than a few times now and the food is delicious - Their "Frisco Melt" is one of my top 3 burgers in Pittsburgh. Bakery items are also tasty and fresh“

“We ordered pies from here last thanksgiving and they were delicious, so we stopped by here again on a rainy Saturday morning and to our delight it was not busy! This is such a sweet family-owned and operated business. We enjoyed all of our breakfast food items and I have to say that the coffee cake was the best I've ever enjoyed! The building it is located in is so incredibly old which gives it so much character. The courtyard in the back is so cute and would be the perfect place to sip on coffee and enjoy a pastry in the late spring/summer/early fall. We will return!“

“I go there often and the pastries are always fresh and amazing. They work very hard to make high quality products and they succeed in doing so. I really cannot say i have a favorite product since they are always tasty and you wish you could enjoy one of every type in their selection. A great place to grab a cup of coffee and a pastry“
“I stopped in late evening , to get some soup for my family . I was quite surprised by the homemade soup selection they had , especially being the end of the day. It looked like they were starting to clean up , but the girl behind the counter took my order right away , she was very attentive and told me I get free rolls with my quart of soup! I apologized to her for coming in late and she was very friendly , asking me if I needed anything else like sandwiches , pastries , salad and bread . Great customer service and great food. I hope to be back to eat in for lunch one of these days!“
“Windy Hill Bakehouse is by far the best bakery in the Pittsburgh area. They made our wedding cake, individual cakes for our anniversaries, she will be doing our baby shower, and we've even gotten some baked goods from them at local get togethers. Every flavor that they have is great and each bite leaves us wanting more. Fortunately, the prices are so good that getting more is pretty easy!Jennette is super easy to work with and every time we see her, she remembers our names and it's fun to catch up while snacking on whatever new goodie she has. I can't recommend Windy Hill Bakehouse enough! If you haven't tried it yet, this is your sign to order something great!“
