“Lovely restaurant tucked into a beautiful street in Colares, Portugal. Our dining companion had the tasty Shrimp soup and we had the fresh fish entrees. We had a wonderful leisurely lunch with wine and good companions. This spot has a serene vibe with beautiful food and scenery.“

“Overlooking the beach, great service, own parking (really a lifesaver) with good food. The prices for seafood are a bit high tough, compared to other venues in the region. But overall a nice experience ina relaxed atmosphere sitting outside in a sunny day.“

The treatment was wonderful from everyone, from the reception to the waiters, especially Vlad, an excellent professional. We will repeat without a doubt. Totally recommended.“

“We were on a private tour of Sintra and the region. Our guide, who was very good, and a local native, took us to this restaurant for a latish lunch (late lunches seem to be the norm in Portugal and Spain). The food we had, with suggestions from our guide, was very good. The restaurant is on the coast, and provides a wide selection of fish dishes, all very tempting. We noticed that they had Barnacles on the menu (it was the most expensive dish on the menu!). Our guide told us that this was a Portuguese delicacy, especially when watching football games (soccer to Americans). Imagine replacing Buffalo Chicken Wings with Barnacles! Our waiter gave us a small dish of them, and our guide showed us how to take the shell off, to expose the edible part. They didn't seem to have much taste -- just a briny sea taste. Some people would have said "Eeew!", but we were game to try lots of things on that trip.“

“Great food and even better service. Staff all very attentive and friendly, felt very relaxed even with having my 2 to daughter to entertain as we ate. Food was very good and portions massive, could've shared the fish & rice for our lunch. Would highly recommend.

“The restaurant is in a great location, opposite the descent to the beach you can see the sea. The setting is also nice, rustic but comfortable. The food is quite reasonably priced for the area, a lunch for two with starters, main dish, drink (1x each) and coffee approx €40.
They have a vegetarian dish with the option to make it vegan and fresh fish by weight.“

“My family and I had an amazing lunch here during our tour of Sintra and Cascais with our tour guide. We are so thankful he introduced us to this place! The fish was so fresh and the view of Praia Grande was stunning. The staff was so attentive and such a pleasure to talk to. It was definitely the best meal we had during our trip to Portugal. We will definitely be back!

Kid-friendliness: They have a wonderful ice cream/gelato bar that my son absolutely loved. He also enjoyed being able to pick out the fish from the tank that we had for our meal.“
