“Stunning food. The lovely chef ladies know how to cook. Yummy clams and cooked prawns, cod fish cakes are lush. The soup is also delicious however if you are vegetarian and ask for the vegetable soup.....we found some slices of chorizo in there so make sure you say no meat. Apart from that the food is spot on and the price is really affordable! Highly recommend!“

“A small but very nice Portuguese restaurant. We ate beef and fish. The portions are big enough and the staff is very friendly. The only problem I can point out is that when they take your order they don't ask how cooked the meat is. We had to return one of the beef portions because it was quite raw.“

“This is a "small" restaurant in the heart of Lisbon with a focus on an informal atmosphere and diverse food, especially to share. The food is very good, tasty, and unpretentious. They have a very LARGE range of options in wines. The staff is very nice and accessible. The prices are... Ok... In our case we paid 45eur per person with drinks and desserts. Very good option!“

“Highly recommend if you love Portuguese tapas. Great food and friendly service. The menu is extensive so we just asked the nice waiter to choose on our behalf.Four dishes plus a dessert more than satisfied our hunger for around 30 euro per head plus wine. You can book a table inside but outside it's pot luck.“

“Was absolutely amazing , we asked a local from a bar a good restaurant and he recommended here , as soon as I saw the place I knew it was somewhere I wanted to dine didn’t even need to check the menu , upon entry we were served by Evo. I noted to him that my partner was pregnant and he helped us along the way with what to choose from the menu - he has to be the best waiter you can ever come across , he assisted us throughout the dinner with the best service I have received from any kind of restaurant , and truly loves his job .As for the food absolutely amazing I started with the shrimp soup , then followed by the special goat Portuguese style , and my partner had the beef fillet … both to die for .I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Lisbon .“

“Very good treatment, José the spectacular waiter, very attentive and recommends very good tapas. To say that we only came to have tapas but I'm sure that lunch and dinner will be delicious. I 100% recommend the sardines, cod croquettes and goat cheese with honey. If you come to Lisbon don't miss this place.“

“Nice hole in the wall. We had the sardines in spicy olive oil, tuna with tomato sauce, and codfish with garlic. Tuna was mid (dry, not very tasty)but the sardines and codfish were so good that by the end we forgot we had tuna. Highly recommend!“

“Great food but the service was a little uptight; expected better wine collection for the place known for wines. And they have 2 locations right next to each other - one has a better vibe than other (if they allow you to pick! - they didn’t let us even though seats were available!). Food is great though!“

“Went to Lisbon on a girls trip and we accidentally found Mister Tapas. We were not disappointed. I am a vegan so its not often I find places that easily cater to both vegan & non vegan diets, but Mister Tapas did. Great food. The owner came over and served us himself and was super nice and attentive. Drinks were perfect & the playlist was unexpected and fun. Definitely recommend!“

“The croissants here are possibly the best I’ve ever had anywhere before. They’re so delicious! We got some ham and cheese croissants and a chèvre, figs, and honey and they were both perfect, they really hit the spot. It all almost falls apart in your mouth. The space is cute and the staff was friendly. This was on my list to try when visiting Lisbon and I’m so glad I was able to squeeze it in on my travels.“

“Excellent food and drinks at a fair price, it has a very wide variety of Brazilian snacks and, in addition, excellent service. For those who want to celebrate their birthday, there is the option of booking a party space where it is possible to complete the party menu. More than recommended. I will definitely be back!“

“Localino piccolo molto carino con tavolini all'esterno, tapas molto buone, prendete assolutamente il formaggio di capra e il chorizo alla brace. Vino ottimo, abbiamo bevuto un Lobo tinto dell'Alentejo strepitoso P. S. Da non confondere con il locale a fianco che ha i tavoli nello stesso spiazzo (magari si mangia bene anche lì non giudico cosa non ho provato)“

“We ate here twice, both times the service and food were excellent! The staff was so welcoming and prepared the food with care and expertise. They were so accommodating, they prepared a big salad on our request as we hadn't had a salad for a while and needed some greens. Thank you for such wonderful food. ?“
“Nous sommes venus ici pour dîner sur ma dernière nuit à Lisbonne. Pendant que nous mangions sorte de tard c'était assez donc mes amis et moi avons pu vraiment profiter de notre conversation. Le service était excellent et ils ont eu la gentillesse d'expliquer certains des plats sur le menu qui est faite de la cuisine essentiellement locale. C'est un prix raisonnable et la nourriture goûts incroyable. Vraiment j'espère avoir l'occasion d'y retourner.“

“Restaurant in São Marcos, very welcoming, excellent homemade food, with live music on pre-defined days, friendly and fun staff, €18 menu (3 homemade dishes) without drinks and desserts. You should ask for the wine list. Difficult parking. A very fun start to the night.????“

“When you enter Trobadores you will immediately be in a super friendly atmosphere. The costumes go hand in hand with the atmosphere.Obviously by reading the menu you would get a flambee sausage, it's nice, and not so bad but far from incredible. The rest of the cuisine is classic, the wine not great but affordable. You enter into an atmosphere, and it's super nice with a group of friends or to cut yourself off from the world“

“We stopped by last minute and were lucky to get a table. First, the staff were fantastic! You can tell the passion they put into providing a great experience. The Iberico croquettes and tomato bread for our starters were tasty and a great way to start our meal. The huevos rotos could have used a little hot peppers to elevate the taste, but the yolk of the eggs provided a creaminess to the dish. The star of the dinner was the duck rice! My wife and I could not stop talking about how pan-licking good this dish was for us. This was the best meal of our entire trip to Portugal and Spain. I want the recipe! For dessert, the flan was a nice way to end the meal and the sweet rice pudding was also delicious (though was uniquely plated). Next time we visit Portugal we're definitely stopping here again.“

“Homemade and tasty food. They should have more variety. As for the desserts, I didn't like the fact that they were in cups, the quantity should have been more generous, the apple pie could have come with a scoop of ice cream, that's a tip.“

“I arrived in Lisbon and I was recommended this place by a friend who had already been here. My opinion is absolutely positive. I took 3 things. An octopus salad with peppers, red onion, a little garlic, oil and vinegar. Good. Then some bread that seemed sweetish with butter and garlic cream. Not bad. And finally a sort of mini shorts filled with shrimp and a very good cream. I then also took one of their homemade sauces based on peppers as an accompaniment to this last dish. The frying was truly exceptional. Paid the right amount. Located a few meters from the castle of San Giorgio, so if you go to the area and don't know where to eat, this is the right place for typical Portuguese food.“

“This quiet little restaurant is a great spot for date night. My wife and I loved our gourmet burgers (mine had a "drippy" fried egg, and hers was topped with goat cheese, walnuts & honey), along with a pitcher of delicious homemade sangria. “Another hidden gem off the main tourist area.Local Portuguese food, simple but tasty. Can recommend the pork and sole.House white wine was inexpensive and excellent.Sweet rice dessert also delicious.Like some local restaurants we were given a salad and meat apetitiser which we didn't request and then they charge you. That said they weren't expensive and we enjoyed them both but if you don't want then send them back.“

“This restaurant is centrally and well located, behind the Praça do Comércio, down on the street leading to the staircase to the Catedrale da Sé. As on previous visits, we were warmly welcomed by Rogério and his team. There is a large selection of starter plates/menues, which are beautifully presented and taste delicious. At lunchtime there are various fine, inexpensive menus for just Euro 9.50 (appetizers, menu, 1 glass of wine + 1 coffee)This evening we had a platter of Serrano ham and various cheeses with olive oil, bread and a cream cheese. For the main course we chose one of 4 options of "fondue" beef strips to prepare ourselves on the table grill (there are also the options of various sausages, with shrimps or with both). There is also a huge selection of delicious wines produced by the owner of Eating Bear. The restaurant also has the great Walker Bar in the entrance next door, a trendy place for a fine drink. We will definitely come back! Thanks for the good service, keep it up!“

“I just walked across this restaurant while exploring the central Lisbon area, and I absolutely adored the food here I think it was one of the best meals I had in Lisbon. They serve a wide array of different tapas, and they have a great wine selection as well. I cannot emphasize how delicious the food was here, and I even enjoyed the octopus croquettes more than I enjoy the croquet in Spain. We also ordered some truffle risotto and jam and cheese on toast, all of which were so yummy. The staff was also friendly, and the service was fast. Most importantly, the location here is great so you could stop for a quick bite to eat and nice drinks while exploring the neighborhood. They have a very nice outdoor seating area. “Chapito has amazing views over Lisbon and the river. Service is fantastic and menu is small but sufficient. We had beef cheeks and they were very delicious, although served a bit cold and portions to the small side. Guinea fowl was fine but nothing special, the prok carre was very undercooked but the garnish was good. We tried all three deserts and they were marvelous. Recommended.“

“I've always said good things about this house.Excellent manufacturing.Currently the staff leaves something to be desired. The menu on the table is out of date. They simply used normal wipes so as not to mislead anyone. The worst today and for me the house closed, cross at the door.I asked for the bill.17.70 euros.I put the money in the account since I wasn't the person I'm used to, but I must also be having a difficult day.Big Dimas came back from a difficult day telling me that I was missing money.I put the money into the account. It still caught my attention that I was speaking loudly, of course. He was irritated. But an excellent house. For me it is no longer“

“Loved the Location, outside tables looked nice but we decided to sit inside since it looked really cozy and charming! We had a few of their tapas, which were absolutely delicious! “We dined at Adega das Gravatas and had a memorable evening. We ordered the beef cooked on stone, a lean cut that comes sizzling to your table, along with another cut of beef and the octopus. The beef dishes were served with buttery rice and fries, which were quite enjoyable. The experience of cooking the beef at the table was fun, though the flavor was standard. The octopus, while slightly oily, was served with a generous portion of vegetables. The other cut of beef was decent but didn't stand out. The menu was entirely in Portuguese, and our waitress only spoke Portuguese, which made ordering a bit of a challenge, but Google Translate came to our rescue.Overall, it's a great spot if you're looking for a unique dining experience in a local setting, even if the flavors weren't exceptional. The atmosphere and the experience itself make it worth a visit.“

“Tourist in town! I wanted something light after exploring Belem for much of the day. My mother and I decided to split a few appetizers paired with wine. The star for me was the a bacalhau a bras. Even though this may not be the best restaurant version of it, something about how it was cooked in that moment, made it though most enjoyable dish out of my Lisbon experience.“
“Food was really good. Had the cod toast sandwich. Quaint outside area isn’t he Alfama area. Service was slow and not organized. Waiter brought out wrong order and was 10 min after the other food was delivered to my eating partner. The waiter asked for a tip which is never good when the bill is given. I don’t mind tipping but don’t ask for it.“

“It’s been our first evening in Lisbon and this restaurant has been recommended to us. We had no reservation and the inside was fully booked. But we were able to sit outside and honestly it’s been the better choice because we could observe the streets and people walking by and just get to know the vibe of the city for a little bit. The food was great and the service was great. Our waiter was taking such good care of us and made sure we felt comfortable and relaxed. It’s a great first evening in Lisbon.“
