Had dinner for 2. We were welcomed with some slices of bread accompanied by persil and garlic butter. We shared and enjoyed all we ordered: stuffed shrimps with tomato snd garlic base, grilled squid (served with white rice) and polpo a la gallega. All was amazing, but we “had to” take a second time the shrimps, so to enjoy more shrimp and use the tomato and garlic soup as a top for the rice we got with the squid. The rice topped with the tasty soup turned into an unexpected and delicious course.
We finally took a lemon mousse topped with crumbled biscuits: a fresh and delicious way to end the dinner. Highly recommended to go, and suggested to book a table says in advance.“

The obvious is the incredibly fresh seafood from the best purveyors in PT. The less obvious is the service. It is as good as what you would find in Michelin-starred restaurants in Paris—professional, invisible and incredibly pleasant. The ambiance is always wonderful, with large families and friends enjoying celebratory meals. The wine list features some incredible local winemakers, whose wines pair very well with the dishes. Even the bread is top notch. Fair warning, it is not inexpensive. Love this place.

“Wow!! We stopped into this place after a long drive to Cascais. Not knowing what to expect we were pleasantly surprised when we walked in. The Beautiful ambiance and views makes for a beautiful dinning experience. A little on the pricier side but the food and service is on the higher end on the scale. I had the bacalao with potatoes and my husband had the fried filet of sole. Both portions were very good size and the filet of sole came with tomato rice and salad. We also had the vegetable soup which was delicious. Be ware they set your table with a bunch of apps that you didn’t order and even if you just taste it you’ll be charged. Once we got to our table the table was set with olives, bread cheese and some minced rabbit dish, We asked what it was and sent it back because no one in our party ate rabbit. The cheese alone was 23euros so make sure you want it before you start your meal. The view is beautiful and its a wonderful way to have lunch or dinner.“

We ate fillet steaks with mushroom sauce, black linguini with shrimp and octopus in a lagareiro style. Everything is excellent and at very affordable prices given the good quality too!
