“It deserves lots of praise and a new visit. In an easily accessible location, it offers a rich menu, a robust wine list and an impressive dessert list.
Among so many good things, I can highlight the soft dough pastries and the abbe de priscos. However, at a large group table no one complained. An excellent meal that will be remembered.“

“For seafood lovers! Tasty but expensive!
This restaurant doesn't have a menu as such. You choose fresh fish at the counter, it is weighed for you and taken off the grill. Grilled fish is very tasty. Price in kilograms. The service staff is very friendly. The location is wonderful, overlooking Ocean! The language of communication is English. You won't get any compliments from the chef here, you have to pay for every roll. I repeat again: tasty but expensive!“

“Our experience was great since the moment we asked for a table. The waiters were extremely friendly and since they knew our language (Spanish), they spoke it to make us feel comfortable.
This place is famous for its fresh fish and it didn't disappoint. We got the sea bass and it was GREAT! One of the best I ever had.
I highly recommend to visit this place if you are around Ericeira.
The only negative point is that it is cash-only.“

“Our meal at Ribas wanted me to change our other reservations so we could come back and try more dishes. Each bite was a bite of joy.
And while we could nit pick (fancy restaurants beg for it), we were thoroughly delighted and satisfied. From the best toasted bread we’ve ever had to the scallop and mango salad to the prawn and scallop risotto to the steak, each dish was above the bar in quality and taste.“

“Excellent quality, extremely friendly staff, variety of seafood, house-made seafood soup with mother's flavor, brutal, good wines and beers, desserts must be good, they are not my specialty and taste, air-conditioned space, lots of hygiene, parking with some ease, to repeat even more often, a special thank you to Mr Bruno, owner of the space.
Parking: Some private places and others on public roads, I parked easily
Kid-friendliness: Families with children stay in a private room
Wheelchair accessibility: No architectural barriers that restrict access“

“I haven't visited this restaurant since before the Covid pandemic. The freshest fish continues to be king and the team is very friendly.
With the restaurant full, I noticed some slowness in service and the space became a little noisy. But I hope to go back there...“

“(Translated by Google) They have snails like I haven't eaten in a long time! Very well seasoned, congratulations!Next time I'll try the grilled snails. The only downside is the noise, which in turn is also typical of these popular snack bars.(Original)Têm caracóis como nao comia há muito tempo! Muito bem temperados, parabéns!Para a próxima vou experimentar as caracoletas grelhadas.O único senão é o barulho, que por sua vez também é típico destas casas de petiscos bastante frequentadas.“

“Very, very good place. Perfectly located in a small coastal town with views of the ocean. The fish was tasty and fresh - nothing to complain about. Very friendly and service minded staff. Limited waiting time when ordering. I would recommend to try their gambas (shrimp with garlic) which was simply great. Atmosphere is also on point. Perfect place for fish lovers - and probably a pretty bad place if you don’t like fish:)“

“It's not bad if you want to try fresh seafood, although it is a little expensive. We chose the crab and rice, all very good except the prepared one which we didn't like. The treatment from the young waiter was very good, he was very friendly.
It seems to me that in a place that pays around €50 per person, it is not normal that they do not have card payment.“

“Employee making a shipment...because it was supposedly late. I gave him 5 euros as a tip on a €110 bill, I have debts if he thanked me. If it was too late, they closed.I knew this restaurant as a tavern, very tavern, where there were holes in the floor. We ate wonderful seafood, today everything has been remodeled, the seafood is still good, but at absurd prices. And the attitude is frankly bad, not to be repeated, as there is much more on offer at better prices“

“Small, friendly country bistro. The boss is present in the room: good point.
Tender naco de novilho, just cooked and balanced seasoning. Homemade fries. The red wine from the casa is interesting. Average prices. Fresh fish. Rare in Portugal, the TV showed ocean depths and not the eternal “football” that we experience elsewhere: bravo!
Parking: Relatively small and anarchic parking lot.“

“I discovered this restaurant by chance!
My congratulations to the entire team!
Continued great success for Marisqueira Furnas, which I will visit as soon as possible, as it has a lot of quality and the prices are not exaggerated.
Wheelchair accessibility: Even with reduced mobility, everyone has access to the restaurant.
Excellent location.“
“We beat the crowds on Sunday evening in May. The restaurant was a short 15 minute drive from Lousã where we were staying. The restaurant is very attractive & popular filling up quickly. I chose the steak on a tile with migas & volcano potatoes. Fantastic! (The steak was actually veal, super tender, juicy & delicious.) My boyfriend got the chicken with rice, which he enjoyed, but he said not exactly what he was expecting. Our friend had the seafood risotto which she liked but thought it was a little salty. We finished our meals & my boyfriend got an aperitif and asked for the dessert menu, which never came. We waited about 35-40 minutes more to try & get the check and noticed another table go up to the bar counter to pay. My friend & I went outside my boyfriend had to wait another 10 minutes to get the check & finally pay. The restaurant is very popular but was not completely full, think they need to add more servers to handle the crowd. So food 5 stars, service -4 stars.“

“It is the best place to eat and dine in Sintra. Traditional and homemade food. Professional, attentive and close service. The price is affordable and they make you feel at home. Without a doubt if we return to Sintra we will repeat for sure.“

“I can say it was the best grilled fish I've ever eaten outside of home! Excellent indeed.
The service is very friendly, but there is a lack of initiative, pro activity and attention to the customer's needs throughout the meal. No one came to greet us either at the door or after entering the first room, I often had to call for them to come and see what I needed.
Other than that, fantastic, peaceful atmosphere, beautiful view of the sunset, superb quality food.
Thank you very much!“

“Nice place. The food is well prepared. It's a shame that they made a mistake with the cataplana we ordered, which they tried to resolve as quickly as possible.
Prices a little above average for everyday life. However, as it was a celebration, I recommend it.“

“This restaurant clearly stands out with its decor and concept.
For me one of the best restaurants I've been to so far. The many small dishes invite you to share and everything was outstanding, so much so that we went there again the following day.
Great service, especially when you order the eggplant.
Recommendation goes out“

“Zo lekker gegeten hier. We hadden een stukje vlees met champignon roomsaus en ham, verrukkelijk. Alle andere dingen op de kaart klonken ook lekker. Voor de rest heeft het binnen wat meer sfeer dan buiten, maar heeft ons niet tegen gehouden om buiten te zitten.“

“Dined here on the strength of other reviews. Did not disappoint.Ordered the mussels to start and the grilled salmon for main. Tho the mussels were done straight up, tasted bland when a little seasoning or flare could of been added to make them tastier. However the salmon was cooked to perfection. Really tasty crispy skin and the meat was done perfectly.Highly recommend.“

“We had an amazing time at Golfinho Azul and went here two times in one week! Great service (thank you André!), food and a stunning view across the ocean and the sunset. ? They have freshly caught fish but also the caprese salad and Mafra bread is great!
We’d definitely recommend this place to others and encourage you to go! ✨“

“From the place 5 stars but this last order placed with Uber this Saturday was on the public road and disappeared, they tried to contact me and my partner had the phone turned off. delivery method because this is a shame; they leave a photo with the bag on the public street and the message comes saying enjoy your order, what a shame

“Good dishes and very generous plates! Excellent value. Our server was friendly and efficient. Only downside: we waited a long time before having our meal...like in all the restaurants we ate in Portugal.
Besides this little detail, I recommend!

“A family home that welcomes us like family.Ricardo (host), welcomed us with a welcome to this humble home. Dona Isabel, Madam, your mother made a cod stew upon request, which was very appetizing, the taste of mother's food. Very very good.Congratulations Ricardo for the friendly house and the way you welcomed us and said goodbye. As much as I can write, I can't convey how much I want to go back...See you soon…Big hug and best wishes for a New Year with many successes.“
“Absolutely delicious! One of the best typical Portuguese meals we have had after four months here. The owner is delightful and the food is fantastic. We had the shrimp rice and the pork with mushrooms and would order it all over again every day. Highly recommend!“

“Good food, well prepared, tasty. A diverse wine cellar with many options by the glass. Beautiful space with terrace. I would like to highlight that the staff is of Brazilian nationality, but with enough knowledge to advise and describe the dishes and the best wine pairings. Skilled to quickly serve all tables with friendliness. For dessert ? they make nails with cheese that are delicious.“

“Very good option for 4 or more people. The fish is chosen from a counter at the entrance of the restaurant. Prices per kilo have always been high, but the quality of the fish and the way it is prepared (grilled) is exemplary. Today at lunch we started with some clams à bulhão pato, a sea bream weighing 900 grams accompanied by the house's green wine and with some cheese in the middle... there was no longer room for dessert. I've known this restaurant for many years and haven't been here for 6 years. The outside space has been renovated and is much better. I still recommend avoiding weekends.“

“I usually go to this restaurant, everything is acceptable except the following:
There have been at least 3 times that the invoice has been wrong, and always with excess products consumed. Once it was still ok, it could be a mistake, but today I suspected it could be intentional. This is based on the employee's response. Just be careful to check before paying.“

“Excellent meal, we ate the suggestions of the day (about 8 options, 3 of which were meat) which range from €12.5 to €14 with everything included. In this case the fish rice cost me 12.5 and came with a mug, coffee and dessert. The rice was delicious and came well supplied with fish. There are other more/less cheap options on the menu that are not included in the daily dishes, namely octopus rice“
“I was in Sintra visiting the Pena Palace and the tour guides highly recommended Tulhas, especially if you're looking to try seafood rice and I was! The restaurant is small and tight, decorated with tiles and wood, located between the tourism office and San Martin Church. The seafood rice was good, filling and hearty, though I would recommend this dish only for fans of seafood.“

“We celebrated our birthday, the dishes served, rich sea soup, seafood rice, seafood bread, octopus à lagareiro, were all very well prepared. The staff is very friendly and always ready to satisfy our requests. The price and location are very nice for a seafood restaurant, I recommend it.“
“We went to Solar for my birthday lunch. I had not been to Solar for some years now, but it continues to be a north star for excellent food in Lisbon. Lots of great choices in the menu, we went for the "arroz de lagosta e gambas" and the "bacalhau assado". Both excellent and in generous portions too. As a starter we had some delicious "peixinhos da horta" and we finished off with "arroz doce"...and it was also very good and in a big portion. Service is extremely professional! Staff is always there when you need them, without a feeling of "over-pressure" you sometimes have with over-eager people. Not a cheap place for sure, but you don't get that quality in a lot of places. We paid about 95€ for two people. You absolutely need to book, as the place is always packed. And that brings to my only less positive point: it can be very noisy....but then people are enjoying themselves with an amazing meal with friends. Must Go restaurant in Lisbon“
