“Above expectations: tasty food, cool atmosphere sitting at the tables in the street and very gentle snd caring staff.
Had dinner for 2. We were welcomed with some slices of bread accompanied by persil and garlic butter. We shared and enjoyed all we ordered: stuffed shrimps with tomato snd garlic base, grilled squid (served with white rice) and polpo a la gallega. All was amazing, but we “had to” take a second time the shrimps, so to enjoy more shrimp and use the tomato and garlic soup as a top for the rice we got with the squid. The rice topped with the tasty soup turned into an unexpected and delicious course.
We finally took a lemon mousse topped with crumbled biscuits: a fresh and delicious way to end the dinner. Highly recommended to go, and suggested to book a table says in advance.“

“Lovely restaurant tucked into a beautiful street in Colares, Portugal. Our dining companion had the tasty Shrimp soup and we had the fresh fish entrees. We had a wonderful leisurely lunch with wine and good companions. This spot has a serene vibe with beautiful food and scenery.“

“The fish cataplana is impressive as is the rice with seafood. We had a white wine that the waiter recommended and it was spectacular. Super recommended. It's a pleasure to dine in a place like this because of its good product and good price.“

“For seafood lovers! Tasty but expensive!
This restaurant doesn't have a menu as such. You choose fresh fish at the counter, it is weighed for you and taken off the grill. Grilled fish is very tasty. Price in kilograms. The service staff is very friendly. The location is wonderful, overlooking Ocean! The language of communication is English. You won't get any compliments from the chef here, you have to pay for every roll. I repeat again: tasty but expensive!“

“Our experience was great since the moment we asked for a table. The waiters were extremely friendly and since they knew our language (Spanish), they spoke it to make us feel comfortable.
This place is famous for its fresh fish and it didn't disappoint. We got the sea bass and it was GREAT! One of the best I ever had.
I highly recommend to visit this place if you are around Ericeira.
The only negative point is that it is cash-only.“

“It deserves lots of praise and a new visit. In an easily accessible location, it offers a rich menu, a robust wine list and an impressive dessert list.
Among so many good things, I can highlight the soft dough pastries and the abbe de priscos. However, at a large group table no one complained. An excellent meal that will be remembered.“

“Our meal at Ribas wanted me to change our other reservations so we could come back and try more dishes. Each bite was a bite of joy.
And while we could nit pick (fancy restaurants beg for it), we were thoroughly delighted and satisfied. From the best toasted bread we’ve ever had to the scallop and mango salad to the prawn and scallop risotto to the steak, each dish was above the bar in quality and taste.“

“Best seaside dining option in Cascais! All seats have a view of the beautiful beach and harbor and the food was so good that we went back twice! Highly recommend the breaded squid. As a peanut butter lover I was pleasantly surprised to find a peanut butter, caramel, and chocolate dessert on the menu. ❤️“

I recommend the Iscas and the curry, however they have several Portuguese gastronomy options that may please other palates.
Excellent atmosphere.

“TOP place to eat in Belém, after visiting the neighborhood eating here (even when tired) makes you feel full and satisfied. The steak with egg is incredible, but the stone-grilled steak exceeds expectations. The wait at rush hour (14-15) and in August can be a little longer, as is normal, but it is worth it.“

The space is large, airy and clean

“I haven't visited this restaurant since before the Covid pandemic. The freshest fish continues to be king and the team is very friendly.
With the restaurant full, I noticed some slowness in service and the space became a little noisy. But I hope to go back there...“

“The portion of the octopus was surprising, they brought two small tentacles for 18 Е, in other restaurants for such a price they bring almost a whole one, well half for sure. There are no complaints about the taste, tasty tentacles. Dorado is deliciously prepared. The wine is delicious. Homely atmosphere and fast service.“

“It's not bad if you want to try fresh seafood, although it is a little expensive. We chose the crab and rice, all very good except the prepared one which we didn't like. The treatment from the young waiter was very good, he was very friendly.
It seems to me that in a place that pays around €50 per person, it is not normal that they do not have card payment.“

Very well seasoned, congratulations!Next time I'll try the grilled snails. The only downside is the noise, which in turn is also typical of these popular snack bars.(Original)Têm caracóis como nao comia há muito tempo! Muito bem temperados, parabéns!Para a próxima vou experimentar as caracoletas grelhadas.O único senão é o barulho, que por sua vez também é típico destas casas de petiscos bastante frequentadas.“

“Employee making a shipment...because it was supposedly late. I gave him 5 euros as a tip on a €110 bill, I have debts if he thanked me. If it was too late, they closed.I knew this restaurant as a tavern, very tavern, where there were holes in the floor. We ate wonderful seafood, today everything has been remodeled, the seafood is still good, but at absurd prices. And the attitude is frankly bad, not to be repeated, as there is much more on offer at better prices“

“Perfect view, service and food! We didn't reserve and yet, everyone here made it possible for us to get a table near the water (my daughter wanted it so much!). As for the food it's really delicious and the service and smiles were at least as good as food ? second time here and it is now sure we will come again ?“

“Seafood restaurant in the Alges area.
Very busy and does not take reservations on a first-come, first-served basis.
Service from some employees is not very friendly and it is clear that they needed more employees.
But as soon as we sat down, the food came quickly, was very well prepared and tasty.
Very good seafood.
Price appropriate to quality and quantity.“

My congratulations to the entire team!
Continued great success for Marisqueira Furnas, which I will visit as soon as possible, as it has a lot of quality and the prices are not exaggerated.

“We had the best time here! We were only in Cascais for one night and the owner, Sonya, came out and talked with us the whole dinner. She said that she would bring out the best they had and took our menus. Everything we had was delicious, including the bottle of wine. We had a great time with great food and an experience that I will never forget from all my time in Portugal!!“

“Nice restaurant with very pleasant team.
The moules are really Good especially the Gratinados as a starter.
As for the main dishes, it would be great if we can have a refill of moules because even if they are big moules it is not enough for someone with a great appetite.
As non-alcoholic, we didn't try the gin
Kid-friendliness: Share one plate between two kids.“

“The grilled fish was exceptional. The service was very professional but not very friendly. The sangria was great but the desserts only had fruit or Nestlé ice cream...Prices above average. Thanks for the variety, freshness and good preparation of the fish“

“A quality restaurant. Excellent service. Product quality. A magnificent kitchen. A most pleasant atmosphere. Beautiful dining room and very nice terrace. 20 years of customers, every time we are in Cascais we eat there at least once. The price depends on what is requested. It can be very reasonable. And if the price is not the problem (it will never be exaggerated, Cascais is not Cannes) you will surely get it right.“

“I arrived super stressed because I was looking for somewhere to eat on a summer Sunday, after all, there aren't many decent beachfront options in that region. After walking around for a long time looking, I ended up getting a table quickly at EMMA and I was very well served by the attendant called Mariana, a super friendly Brazilian.
He calmed me down with kindness and served me perfectly. He suggested house specialty starters, always asking for what was needed.
We ordered two salads which were ok, nothing special or extraordinary. The salad lacked a little dressing and the fried cuttlefish was accompanied by a very greasy mayonnaise sauce, but everything was as good as possible.
I have to emphasize that Mariana's service made all the difference in the experience as a whole. Even in the scorching heat and with the restaurant full, she had a smile and friendliness.“

“I was at this Marisqueira in September last year 2023 and I loved the quality of the services and service, I live in the Netherlands and I'm going to Estoril again and I'm going to make a reservation to eat the seafood rice, it's delicious, the best I've ever had. I can't understand people criticizing this seafood restaurant, dear, the name alone says its specialty is fish and seafood, come and order meat! They may have meat, but it is not their specialty.“

“I can say it was the best grilled fish I've ever eaten outside of home! Excellent indeed.
The service is very friendly, but there is a lack of initiative, pro activity and attention to the customer's needs throughout the meal. No one came to greet us either at the door or after entering the first room, I often had to call for them to come and see what I needed.
Other than that, fantastic, peaceful atmosphere, beautiful view of the sunset, superb quality food.
Thank you very much!“

“Nice place. The food is well prepared. It's a shame that they made a mistake with the cataplana we ordered, which they tried to resolve as quickly as possible.
Prices a little above average for everyday life. However, as it was a celebration, I recommend it.“

“This restaurant clearly stands out with its decor and concept.
For me one of the best restaurants I've been to so far. The many small dishes invite you to share and everything was outstanding, so much so that we went there again the following day.
Great service, especially when you order the eggplant.
Recommendation goes out“

“Excellent homemade food. Upon entering we were very well received, preferring to stay inside the restaurant. Always eat. Present friendliness, I found it really funny that you asked me if I wanted a bib!!! I LOVED!!!
They recommended cod à Lagareiro and grilled emperor fish!
The fish was delicious and the vegetables too. Hats off to the cod as it tasted just like my grandmother's!!!! Real, desalted cod! The potatoes were well seasoned and the green beans were delicious, just like the ones I used to eat without chemicals!!!! Congratulations to the team that made me relive the past! The interior space is a little “scary” although it has good decoration!
Thanks for the experience!“

“Cozy restaurant, small but I've never failed to book a table. Well attended, it can be seen that it has many regular customers, and is not very noisy even when it is full.

“While visiting Cascais, I came to have lunch at the Vela Azul Restaurant, a small, family-run space where traditional Portuguese food, especially fish, is the house specialty. The starter came with Bread, Toast, Butter and a Fresh Cheese. The main course consisted of tasty Grouper Fillets accompanied by naughty Tomato Rice and perfectly well prepared, full of aroma and flavor. I also ordered a Mixed Salad which was generous and well seasoned. I accompanied the meal with House White Wine and finished with a homemade Queijada. Meal around €26 per person. I recommend!“

“A space with snacks and Portuguese food, located in Cascais Shopping, 1st floor. I've never tried it before and today I felt like an alheira with fried potatoes, fried egg and spinach. The fries were disappointing at first because they looked like frozen ones, but they were actually tasty. As for the alheira, it was actually good. Tasty and meaty. A space to revisit. The vegetables were just for garnish. Very few. The imperial was good and well taken.“

“We went to Solar for my birthday lunch. I had not been to Solar for some years now, but it continues to be a north star for excellent food in Lisbon. Lots of great choices in the menu, we went for the "arroz de lagosta e gambas" and the "bacalhau assado". Both excellent and in generous portions too. As a starter we had some delicious "peixinhos da horta" and we finished off with "arroz doce"...and it was also very good and in a big portion. Service is extremely professional! Staff is always there when you need them, without a feeling of "over-pressure" you sometimes have with over-eager people. Not a cheap place for sure, but you don't get that quality in a lot of places. We paid about 95€ for two people. You absolutely need to book, as the place is always packed. And that brings to my only less positive point: it can be very noisy....but then people are enjoying themselves with an amazing meal with friends. Must Go restaurant in Lisbon“
