“Attention and waiting times to be served perfect. Nothing to say either about the food, very delicious.
The only drawback that the place has for me and for which I do not give 5 stars is that in practically all the dishes the price is given based on weight (for example steak €40/kilo). This means that you don't really know what the price of a portion is and that when you get the bill you don't know if they are charging you right or wrong since you never know the weight of the piece that has been served to you. It is a topic that I did not like at all since it is always up to the restaurant to charge you one price or another since no one tells you what is the weight of the piece that they are going to serve you. Very limited menu and practically all dishes priced at €40 - €45/kilo.“

“We found it by chance while looking for the hotel, we returned at night to have dinner, and the place is nice, good service, the staff are attentive and friendly, the price is good, and the food was very delicious, when we left we met the cook, who He is from Vigo, and we were able to talk a little with him, very nice, 100% recommended place“
“We stumbled across this family owned restaurant and enjoyed a “meal of a lifetime.” Mussels, grilled squid and salmon were our main dishes and they were complemented by fresh salads and fish soup. The lemon mousse that finished our meal was pure perfection. When you are in Nazaré, make time to eat a meal at Restaurante Gil Vincente. You won’t be disappointed.“

“Service was attentive and attentive. We had to reserve a table because it fills up quickly. We had picanha and seafood and it was an excellent choice.
Parking: The worst thing about this restaurant is the location, the parking spaces are not many and the cars are on the road.“

“So special place. Low key, not on Main Street, but worth to try and enjoy a fresh fish. Opens for dinner at 6:30pm. Side door on the right side leads to the upper level. Ambiance is typical for the island, homey and bright. Service is friendly and very efficient, exactly what we expected. Food was exemplary. Everything what we ordered was delicious. Fish soup, grilled fishes, Alfonsim Grelhado & Boca Negra Grelhado, served with boiled potatoes and sweet potato. We loved our wine choice, Mateus “Rose”. Definitely, you will get value for money spent. Highly recommended.“
“Our 6th time here, a favorite restaurant with excellent and consistent Portuguese/European inspired food, service and experience. Best couverts, entradas and several fish and meat entres, each fresh, beautiful prepared and delicious. Incredible homemade desserts. Manager Eddy, Chef Juan, Juan C, Bruno and Caria highly attentive in all ways making each visit remarkable......“

“We arrived without knowing what we were seeing and we loved it.To begin with, the clams, which were well served and meaty. Delicious. Next, an equally tasty and well-prepared Rodovalho. The house's white verde wine accompanied the meal very well and finally for dessert we ordered the chocolate mousse and the house sweet. Everything impeccable.“

“We came here on our second night in town. It's a busy and popular place (among locals and visitors), so we made a reservation a few days before. We had our Bulldog with us and took a table outside. The menu is pretty big, has lots of typical portuguese food and lots of fish and seafood. Really a lot of tasty items. We ordered a bottle of white wine, the popular meat sandwich, clams mediterranean style and a crab with shrimps on the side. The sandwich was excellent. It's a simple, but popular dish. Simple, but great. The clams were nice and fresh. The crab had a nice size, but we've had some better crabs before. Solid, but not great. The White Wine - while pretty moderately priced - was excellent (Planalto - Douro). Staff/Service was very friendly and helpful. Had some tips on what to see and visit for ur. All in all a pleasant evening with good food. Not the very best dinner we've had in Portugal, but enjoyable.“

The food is good and service is OK.
I was a bit disappointed by the Camarones al mojo de Ajo, that is supposed to be Fabulous, then it was only « OK ».
The Bacalhau was also OK.

“The space is very friendly, large terrace, restaurant and a more rustic space, warm in winter and cool in summer! The food is like the motto of the house, the best francesinhas in Taipas and for me, in the top 5 of any place. Well filled with all the ingredients, with a classic, reddish, thick and 'beer' sauce, without kilos of butter as is now the fashion in most French restaurants. It's another rarity...the fries are homemade!!“
“Taste is picturesque and a meeting point, always with stories and news, between scratch cards with a prize and others with other luck... Dona Rosa enchants me for its simplicity and intelligence over the years, it probably has the best and tastiest coffee in a little-known brand. da Vila, in a good location, and also providing a public service by giving information to those who pass by, I've been here for 3 months and I enjoy being there.“
“Currently, in the elegant halls of Marisqueira O Relento in Algés, there he is, Jorge Rodrigues, the waiter who transcends the simplicity of service to turn it into a true art. With years of experience, Jorge is a true master of the craft, deserving of the title that surpasses any academic degree. Jorge, the "doctor" of refined tables, doesn't just serve exquisite dishes; he weaves gastronomic experiences with the artistry of a true connoisseur. His mastery in the art of serving goes beyond mere technique, reflecting sophistication and daring in every gesture. In the halls where conversations whisper amid glasses of wine, Jorge personifies elegance and competence. Moreover, Jorge is an excellent connoisseur of wines, a sommelier who turns each choice into a unique sensory experience. His advice on the perfect pairing of dishes and wines is as refined as his graceful movements between the tables. With a smile that brightens the rooms, Jorge has earned not only the loyalty of customers but also the respect and admiration of fellow professionals. He has elevated the act of serving to a spectacle, where each dish is a masterpiece, and each interaction is a harmonious dance between the waiter and the guest. Jorge has turned his profession into a true art, where hospitality becomes an expression of excellence. He is the maestro conducting a symphony of flavors and impeccable service. May Jorge's journey continue to be marked not only by the finest restaurants but also by the ongoing dedication to transforming each meal at Marisqueira O Relento into an unforgettable experience.“
“Restaurant chosen at random and ultimately an excellent choice. Great welcome. The person who welcomed us even reserved a parking space for us while we went to pick up our car with our dog in it. He introduced us to the house specialties and gave us excellent advice. We had cod and octopus. The portions were very generous. The choice of wine, perfect. The starter of prawns with garlic, a delight. Top servers and excellent cooks. In short, don't change anything. Everything is perfect. And of course we will come back!“

“Very good restaurant, lots of variety of oven-baked food and more, young and very dynamic staff, as well as always being friendly.
And even more impressive is the service time, you just have to ask and you don't even feel like you have to wait... For me, the best in the area.“

“We went for dinner at 7pm and started with some garlicbutter bread baked in the brick oven. For mains we had the black scabbard fish with banana which is a local specialty, and a medium baked beef with cream sauce. Both the fish and the meat were very good! As a desert we shared a piece of the homemade bananapie with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream. On the picture it looks like a lot of cinnamon, but most of it was on the plate so it did not affect the taste of the pie. The service was very good and very quick. Perhaps a bit too quick in our opinion. The view from the terrace was okay. One one side it has a partial view over the ocean but it is blocked by two buildings, so it’s more of a view between the buildings. The other side looks more over the promenade. Would eat there again to try other dishes if I visit Porto Moniz again.“
