Pour ses 30 ans, Kevin voulait un cadeau hors de l’ordinaire. Quoi offrir à celui qui a déjà tout? Qui s’est déjà tout offert? Un repas dans un restaurant hors du commun. Un menu dégustation hors de prix. Un accord vin décadent. Un repas de roi en présence d’une famille royale. Expérience d’une vie. Avant de lire la critique, il est important de prendre en considération que celle-ci se rapporte à une expérience unique, hors du commun. Une expérience de plusieurs centaines de dollars par personne. Les notes et les critiques s’adressent à ce type rarissime d’expérience seulement. En aucun cas, elles ne peuvent être comparées à aucune autre critique. La Tanière 3. Expérience sensorielle et gustative unique et extraordinaire. Du début à la fin, nous n’avons cessé d’être étonnés et agréablement surpris. Tout au long des trois heures que dure le repas, nous avons vacillé entre l’excellent et l’extraordinaire. Nourriture. Plus d’une vingtaine de bouchées-plats, les plus extraordinaires les uns que les autres. Un vrai délice pour les yeux et la bouche. Huîtres, pétoncles, homard, cerf, saumon fumé, canard, porc ne sont que quelques-uns des produits exceptionnels haut de gamme offerts directement de notre garde-manger québécois. Un des trois meilleurs repas que j’ai eu la chance de déguster. 10/10 sans aucune hésitation. Accord vin. Deux options offertes : accord sélection et accord classique. Les seules différences? Le prestige des vins et le prix. Nathalie s’est offert l’accord sélection et a eu la chance d’expérimenter une demi-douzaine de vins sélectionnés parmi les plus prestigieuses bouteilles du restaurant. Dylan et Naomi se sont offert l’accord classique. Dans les deux cas, le verdict est unanime. Du vin blanc au vin rouge en passant par les bulles, l’accord est parfait. 10/10. Accord cocktail sans alcool. Intéressant. Unique. Chacun des mocktails offerts était singulier et surprenant. Une expérience gustative en soi. Chacun des mocktails s’est avéré être une aventure. Du très bon à l’excellent. Deux cocktails étaient exceptionnels. C’était vraiment excellent, mais une coche en dessous des cocktails offerts à La Légende par La Tanière. 8/10. Service. Exceptionnel en tout point. Le personnel est choisi sur le volet, et cela se voit. Tous les employés sont passionnés et attentifs. Le narratif se rapportant à la description des plats offerts est exhaustif, recherché et palpitant. La description des vins est incroyable. Les sommeliers sont connaisseurs et passionnés. Impossible de ne pas boire leurs paroles. 10/10. Ambiance. Unique. Le restaurant est magnifique. Chacune des zones est exceptionnelle et singulière. Tout au long de notre voyage gustatif, nous avons eu la chance de visiter des endroits magnifiques et splendides. Expérience hors de l’ordinaire. Extraordinaire. 10/10. Rapport qualité/prix. L’expérience d’une vie a un prix. Un prix très élevé. Avec l’accord vin, comptez plusieurs centaines de dollars par convive. Est-ce que cela vaut la peine? Nourriture exceptionnelle. Accord vin exceptionnel. Service exceptionnel. Ambiance unique. Difficile de répondre autre chose que oui. Pour une occasion, une expérience unique, fortement recommandée. Anecdote. Un des employés semblait familier à Kevin. Après quelques discussions informelles entre nos deux protagonistes, nous avons appris que cet employé était l’un des propriétaires du restaurant et qu’il avait été à l’Institut du tourisme et de l’hôtellerie du Québec en même temps que notre chef étoilé. La rencontre de deux grands esprits. De deux personnes exceptionnelles d’exception. De deux talents hors norme. Conclusion. Le restaurant est en attente de faire son entrée dans le guide Michelin. Si on se fie à l’expérience que nous avons vécue ce samedi, nous sommes en droit de penser qu’ils vont atteindre le firmament et même décrocher la lune. Encore mieux, mériter deux étoiles Michelin. Ceci s’est rapidement dissipé. If you like onions, you absolutely have to get the chicken with onion cream sauce! It's by far the best onion sauce compared to other places in Quebec, it's authentic!

In the photo, it's half a chicken, onion cream sauce. The portion is for a very large appetite or for two people.

The owner is super nice and welcoming. :)

If you wish to consume take out, call before, because the preparation and cooking time takes around 15-20 minutes depending on what you order and the quantity.

I gave 3 stars for the atmosphere simply because it is not an "atmosphere" restaurant. It's more like a "take out", you arrive, you order, you wait at a table and you eat when your order is ready.”

“Came across this quant Cafe. The atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for. Tables filled with families, friends, and individuals. A guy was playing his guitar while having a coffee. I had an orange juice, a latte, and a butter croissant. Spent $13, with tip included! The orange juice hit the spot. The latte felt like home. The croissant was perfectly crisp and buttery. The staff were so friendly. My French is horrible. They noticed the struggle and spoke to me in English. Much appreciated after a night of drinking. I highly recommend it!”
