Tried the poutine with chicken. Medium size was way too big for me and small would have been fine. The chicken was so good that I would not get poutine next time, since poutine is so overwhelming.“

Food was served hot and the sauce was spicy which made it even better. The fries were crispy and delicious as was the chicken well cooked and crispy. I would definitely recommend“

“Ce que je déplore souvent dans les beau resto chic est que les assiettes sont bien belle côté présentation mais presque vide côté quantité de nourriture. Chez Helena ce n'est pas le cas. Pour la qualité de la nourriture et la quantité c'est abordable. Les 4 cocktails proposé me convenait pas alors on m'en a créer un selon mes goût. J'ai jamais manquer d'eau pendant le repas et avec un service impeccable bref tout était parfait. J'ai beaucoup apprécier d'être bien conseiller dans mon choix de menu. Je voulais commander 3 plats pensant que tout serait petit et j'avais très faim mais le serveur m'a dit que les assiette était bien rempli donc il m'a suggérer de commencer par 2. Effectivement j'étais rassasier après mon entrée et le plat principale donc j'aurais gaspiller un plat et payer plus cher pour rien. J'ai jamais aussi bien manger et j'ai déjà hâte d'y retourner. Autan dans le décor, la musique et les goût on voyage le temps d'un repas au Portugal. Je suis contente d'avoir parlé à la cheffe pour la féliciter de son resto, menu, décor et service impeccable. Elle à pris du temps pour m'expliquer l'image éclairer d'une femme sur le mur et sa signification qui m'intriguais. Vraiment une charmante femme la cheffe Helena. Un resto à découvrir.“

Service impeccable, rapidité et fraîcheur irréprochable. 🌊 En entrée, des huîtres sur glace d’une fraîcheur exquise, relevées d’une mignonnette au vinaigre vieilli : un pur délice marin. 🍲 En plat principal, la bouillabaisse aux poissons et fruits de mer — généreuse, riche en saveurs, et tout simplement succulente. J’ai savouré chaque bouchée avec gratitude. 🍮 Et pour clore cette expérience : le pastel de nata maison accompagné de glace… une douceur portugaise qui a parfaitement scellé cette soirée magique. “most of the food is good, but the fries were way too soggy and oily, so much so that each fry was literally bursting oil in my mouth when i was eating it. very unpleasant and i honestly couldn't eat the fries. Chicken is still delicious and good, but a bit underflavored compared to other Portuguese chicken spots.

Also, I wish they could bring back the taro protein bowl. it was the best thing on their menu“

The first time we came here, it was for coffee ☕, the second time was today for lunch. My love 💕 and I , are return customers. I believe it's places like Chez José Café that keep Montréal alive.

“Date night with wife. Walked in around midnight on a Friday and was seated right away at the bar. Bartender was super friendly. Made me a few cocktails that were off menu. We ordered the popcorn (crazy good) and the beef tartar (also very good). We had such a good time that we went back the next night and had the popcorn again and tried the kale caesar which was also outstanding. All of the cocktails were excellent on the menu as well. Great spot!!“
