“Nowadays it's so hard to find the level of service you get at this restaurant. Waiters always come with a smile making sure you don't miss anything at your table. They open until 11 pm which is so convenient. I must admit their cuisine style is not my favorite, but it's still very good. We'll be back for sure.“

We were sitting in a dining room, the wall unit for the air conditioning was so dirty. When you walk into the restaurant, it smells damp, like there's water damage on the carpet. And the walls, you see that they haven't been washed for years. You see behind the scenes and the accumulation of dirt over the years ?“

Placed an order by phone and the lady was unbelievably nice and cooperative. She even let me know that it was cheaper to place an order by phone than by Uber/DD (highly recommend doing that!).

The food was immaculate. I've tried a lot of dumplings in Mtl and none compares to these. Dumplings overflow with flavor, even if it's just pork and chives. They fried them to perfection; not too little, not too much. Takoyakis were perfectly cooked; crispy outside, melting in the middle with plenty of squid bits. And their wonton soup tastes like REAL wonton soup, none of that dishwasher water tasting crap from other takeouts.

“I will still write " yes " because I want to encourage local businesses. I am happy that you decided to be a part of Too Good To Go to fight against food waste. But when I pick up japanese food that's supposed to have a 42 $ value, I expect to get japanese food, and I expect a 42$ value. 2 chicken broth soups with dumplings, and 2 bowls of rice with curry sauce and small frozen eggrolls aren't japanese ( except for the curry sauce ... ) and aren't a value of 42$. I feel cheated.“

“First time at this location. The staff were nice and welcoming. Only had to wait 5 minutes with no reservation and they felt bad about that too. Service was fast and food was delicious. Just the tables were wobbly but it’s easy to overlook that.“

“Came to Montreal on holidays but craving for Chinese food. The Sichuan dishes here lack of Mala flavor (numbing and spicy flavor) but I guess it’s adapted to local taste. Although not completed satisfied, it did give some sort of comfort to my cravings. Service here is slow and not excellent.

Also they have two types of La Zi Ji ( spicy chili chicken) which I haven’t never seen in any restaurants, one with bones and the other without bones. The one without bones is actually not authentic at all, it’s just fried chicken with some chills, more catered for westerns. The one with bones? My advice is not to have La Zi Ji with bones as most authentic La Zi Ji dishes don’t come with bones.“

I had takeout: wonton soup, imperial rolls, peanut butter chicken (they kindly substituted the protein from pork), and Pad Thai. First of all every dish was piping hot. Like almost to hot to eat for a minute. Which is fabulous for me. Everything had a lovely portion size. Everything tasted fresh and lovely. Good balance in the soup. Dumplings taste fresh hand made and soft, but not squishy. I wish I was more than one person. Good: we had the Omakase sushi and the lemon dessert. Both were absolutely fantastic. The fish was fresh and melt in your mouth. The lemon dessert thing was recommended from the waitress who was very sweet and gave great service.

Bad: this is very expensive, I wouldn’t spend money here unless I had free spend through my credit card. The breakfast was about as good as a shopping mall cafeteria. The berries on the side of my eggs Benedict had white mold growing on them.

My friend ordered the mutton noodles. The price was very reasonable and not expensive. The quantity was almost the same. I can't finish it, it tastes delicious, I recommend it!“
