“Vicky’s is dangerous… in the best way 😂 Since it was my first time I had a sample of the oxtail and curry goat and it was over! I was ready to order the whole menu. The oxtail? Fall-off-the-bone perfection. The curry goat? Rich, flavorful, and absolutely worth the hype. And the cow soup?? Soul-warming, healing, life-affirming goodness.

“The food was so amazing, it was hard not to give 5 stars! However, we ordered through their website site and the amount charged to my card was higher than the receipt on their website. When we called to get help, they basically said it wasn’t their problem and we need to take it up with the third party they use for online orders. Kind of put a damper on our great meal being on hold with a third party point of sales system company:/ All said, though, the food is incredible and I’d suggest ordering in person!“

“Had the oxtail at Tropical Paradise and it was excellent — truly fall-off-the-bone tender and full of flavor. Everything tasted fresh, the portion size was generous, and the service was incredibly fast. I barely had time to sit down before the food came out. On top of that, the staff were really friendly and welcoming. Solid spot if you’re looking for great Caribbean comfort food in Montreal. I’ll definitely be back.“

“Visited here on a return trip with my 14yr old to show him my go to spot for patties and Rock cake back in the 90's. Sadly though the patties aren't the same anymore but I'm happy to say the rock cake is just as good as I remember, you can still smell the aroma of them baking in back of the store just like I remember as a kid growing up. “I randomly walked in a few days ago and was served exceptionally well. The ambiance is very warm and wholesome. The food was very delicious. I would highly recommend, especially if you're into Caribbean food. I wish them the best. Places like these deserve it.“

The place is small, but nice and I've never had any employees that were anything other than professional and kind. However, please do fix your opening hours because I walked 30min to get to you and arrived around 11:30 and you were still closed.“
