My mom normally doesn’t even like goat, but she absolutely loved the goat here! It was so tender and full of flavour.

I’m so happy we discovered Vicky’s and got to experience both the incredible food and the heart behind the restaurant. Patricia is doing something really special by keeping her mom’s legacy alive through her food and her community.

“I tried 2 dishes from the menu. The goat double, and the fried rice x Oxtail (and a limonade). My favourite was the double. The chickpea and the meat were cooked in a delicious sauce, really reminded me of “Massalé” in La Réunion. The cucumber salade was so good on top. I like the oxtail, but I’m so bad with bone lol. The cook she was so nice ! She asked me if I was from Mauritius, she was almost right ! Long live to Indian Ocean people !!

“Hands down the best Trini food!! I ordered for a family celebration of 12 people and everyone was blown away with not only the amount of food, but the quality and flavors of the dishes. We had palouri, plantain, chicken chow mein, patties, and roti - all outstanding. The chicken roti (with authentic dahl puri) was beyond amazing!! “I was recommended to go to Curry House and arrived and it was permanently closed/out of business. I looked across the street and saw Mr. Spicees and remembered seeing it recommended online.

Excellent Roti, really excellent tender skins, fall apart tender. Even the second day they were just as good, the filling was delicious and evenly spiced.

My recommendation is there is opportunity to scoop up the clients now that the other shop is closed. Clear signage, bit of a clean-up/refresh and more online posting. You have an excellent product. Get rid of the patties though, they are sub-par and hurting your brand.
