“La Diperie in Pointe-Claire is the favourite ice cream spot for my wife and I. We love the choices of dips and coatings and the ice cream is of an excellent quality. BUT I did not give full stars for service because for some reason the opening hours are often not respected. On multiple occasions when the shop is posted as being open we are majorly disappointed when we arrive and the doors are locked. The latest time was this past Saturday in mid afternoon, probably the last beautiful summery weather day on a weekend for 2024...and it was closed up tight! So we went down the street and made do with another ice cream shop. The word of advice if you don't want to be disappointed is to call ahead, don't believe what you see posted on Google for the 'open' status, it's often not correct.
UPDATE: The response from the La Diperie Team was also disappointing, they completely ignored the complaint about not respecting their opening hours. Am I to presume no effort will be made to correct this pattern?“

An employee by the name of Matthew served my family as if he was the invested owner leaving an incredible lasting impression for our first experience creating a lifetime client. Wow, Diprie has the best ice cream in town—smooth, creamy, and so full of flavor it could make you forget your own name! I was ready to call it a perfect experience… until I met Samantha. She was so sweet and charming, I couldn’t decide which was more delicious, her or the ice cream! Honestly, she served up scoops with a smile that made every flavor taste twice as nice.

“Best Mr Puffs in MTL, in Lasalle. I've been to a bunch and I'm the Mr Puffs guy in my family lol. The guy on the weekend makes them the best, crispy even when creamed up and all. He's there during the week too but not sure if everyday (tall guy). Very flexible with the flavors.“

“Nice ice cream. The ice cream pizza was also good. Hot dog and meat sauce was ok. Staff are friendly and the place is good. They have a high chair so i can take my little one for a treat and there is parking available always which is great!“
