“Good service even though the restaurant was crowded! Excellent chicken burger! On the other hand, a little disappointed with the carrot cake which lacked softness.”
“Wow, what a great experience! 2nd visit and consistency is perfect. I know classic Lebanese cuisine very well and Babar takes it to a level of excellence. Clean but very warm decor. We start with an “all dressed” Hummus with filet mignon. Served warm with hot homemade pita. Incredibly light. Olives on the side. Wow. I hate olives so imagine! Then octopus, very tender, grilled with yellow pea humus. Lamb dumplings with cream, lemon, mint and pomegranate which adds crunch. We recommend 3 to 4 dishes maximum for 2. The concept is to live the Lebanese tradition of Sunday meals with the family. So we share everything. They have a lot of privately imported wines, the prices are a little high. 2 red wines at $58/bottle and we immediately go up to $72. I recommend the wines of Domaine Foura from Lebanon. Impeccable service from Olivier. Very friendly, courteous and professional. We also had Camille who is very smiling, they all work as a team and you can feel it. In short, a great 2nd experience and we're going back to have the Shish Taouk plate for 2. Ha, I forgot the desserts. The French toast is killer, the fondant a sublime guilty pleasure and the crème brulée perfect. You have to reserve, as it is always full.”
“There's not much that I can say that the other 5-star comments haven't already said, L'Ami Fritz deserves them all, and then some. The Flammeküeche's are crafted with a simple selection of ingredients that compliment each other perfectly, a hallmark of brilliant cuisine. The atmosphere of a unique European region made it a true dining experience and the hospitality was exemplary. It is not hard at all to see why so many guests named L'Ami Fritz as the culinary highlight of their trip to Bromont, myself included.”
“Wow an INCREDIBLE selection of rare wine and beer!!!You have the option to consume on site or buy take out!!The price of the bottles is super reasonableI highly recommend”
“Great cozy spot in downtown Waterloo. I stopped by for an ice coffee and had a quick game of Connect Four. They have a selection of games (crib, scrabble, cards) to play in their cafe and some books on the shelf. The staff were super friendly and the service was quick. I will return to try out their food items.”
“Qu’elle belle découverte ce restaurant ! Tout y est ; ambiance, décor, bouffe, service et que dire des cocktails !! Le propriétaire est vraiment dynamique et sympathique. Un arrêt s’impose si vous passez par Sutton et que vous êtes amateurs de bouffe mexicaine.”
“I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you are looking for an unforgettable experience! The restaurant is incredible: the friendly atmosphere and the quality service.I was able to go there last summer and all the dishes were a delight: explosions of flavors and textures! Also, the waiters were able to wonderfully advise us on a food and wine pairing, with a bottle that lasted us all evening.”
“Sutton seemed full of people - and we just wanted a light lunch (that wasn't pizza). Another merchant suggested this little cafe and it was perfect. Simple and quaint, felt like we were somewhere in Europe (Poland, maybe?). Two offerings each of soup and scones - all really good! Service was charming and we were really glad we'd stopped at this lovely shop.”
“The food was excellent.Donburi rice was short grain perfectly cooked.Tonkotsu broth was nice and rich.Edamame was seasoned with coarse salt and sesame seeds and oil.Chared pork 10/10If ur picky about water it was a 10 (no chlorine, metal, or /fruit/ flavour)The food was copious very good for after ski meal.Knife and fork available upon request.Nice sake variety.(3 dishes, an appetizer, and a glass of sake (180ml) came out to around 100)Vegetarian options: They have a vegan broth available”
“On the way to Balnea Spa, we stopped at Le Sage Brasseur in Cowansville. Robin and his wife Shirley Ann were super hospitable in letting us in at closing time, taking the time to share their knowledge of the area, and serving us some of the incredible beer. We had a fantastic “experimental” IPA brewed with a single hop, some really lovely beer brewed with black currants (I don’t usually like fruit beers, but this one was excellent), and a really smooth Wit beer with hints of orange and spice. They also serve food. A most excellent experience and highly recommended!!!”
“We went there for coffee and muffins, it was excellent! The setting is cute. Very friendly staff. I would have liked to see the prices displayed to know what to choose according to my budget.”
“Great atmosphere and service, Olivier our server knew what he was talking about and was super pleasant to chat with. He gave us good advice and made us taste some excellent beers! Very impressive the quality of the beer! I will come back with pleasure!”
“The pasta of the day cavatelli deserves 3 Michelin starsLa selva is a perfect mix of happiness between a warm, family atmosphere and impeccable food qualityThanks to the team, Laurie and Vincent ?”
“Excellent restaurant!! The quality of the food is 5 stars! What about the staff!! Remarkably kind, smiling and a very warm welcome for this 1st meeting! The only small problem is the cacophony when the restaurant is full. Being small, the sound stands out a lot. But, we will return with pleasure even if it is 1h30 from the house! Congratulations and good continuity ?”
“This is one of our favorite places to work from - reliable WiFi, good coffee, small but good menu (no vegan options though), comfortable seating and very bright / airy building (can get hot in the summer though). Dog friendly!”
“If you don't know this bakery, I strongly recommend that you go take a look. You will be surprised to see the choice of breads and pastries that are so delicious. The crabapples, the chocolatines, the croissants, etc., everything is excellent.”
“The brewery nestled in the heart of the Eastern Townships, in the charming village of Waterloo, is a true gem for adventurous beer lovers. Their selection of exceptional quality beers, aged in barrels, will delight the most demanding palates. We had the pleasure of visiting this establishment on a cold February day and enjoyed our beers on the heated patio out back. The relaxed and welcoming atmosphere won us over, and we are already looking forward to returning on warmer days.”
“Excellent fresh artisanal products, friendly atmosphere, passionate owners. I attended one of the baking classes. This course answered all my questions and more. Jean-Sébastien's passion is contagious; we leave his class with our heads full of projects. Apart from being friendly an important point, he made sure we understood all the steps and techniques. I highly recommend this course to all bread lovers.? ?”
“Sutton’s must-have business for a long time! Everything is excellent and high quality. My only regret is that there is no branch of La Rumeur Affamée in Bromont….”
“I had my best restaurant experience in a long time!Fast, hot, homemade meals, incredible view and finally a place with competent, polite staff and impeccable service!THANKS!!I thought there was no such place!!”
“I don't understand the other negative comments for this restaurant (n.b. maybe not the same experienced employees on weekends ??♀️).I lived in Mtl for a long time and tried several different sushi places and they don't come close to those in Ikura.their sushi literally melts in your mouththey do not hesitate to make a few changes to satisfy customers?”
“The best way to end a day of skiing. Lots of beer options made right behind the bar, which has pipes that bring the beer straight from the brewery, as the very friendly Julien explained to us. The beers are the best I've tasted in a while. I recommend the maple one and also the Session IPA, my favorite. The duck poutine was faultless and helped satisfy my enormous hunger after a busy day of skiing. My friend had the mushroom angus burger which was perfect too. I recommend to everyone.”
“Always a pleasant place to go in. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and are always willing to make adaptations to your dietary restrictions and choices at a good price for what you're getting!Dietary restrictions: Most products are already gluten or lactose free, but the staff can always advise you when something isn't. Some modifications can be made for those dietary restrictions. But you can always just request to remove whipped cream and such.”
“Perfect lunch! Had veggie soup and pate veggie sandwich, AMAZING! Friendly staff and super chill space. Love it! 55$ for two - super reasonable. I’m glad to live only 30min away, easy to return.”

“We were very well received for brunch on a Sunday lunchtime. The coffee was excellent and there was a lovely atmosphere with a live singer. The food was excellent, our server recommended a few dishes for us to share. The place is very well located, a few minutes from the mountain and easily accessible by highway. We are already looking forward to going back.”
“This restaurant is at the airport, Went for breakfast, seems to be a popular place. Food was good, not expensive, service was excellent, a little noisy when we visited, can happen depending on the clientele at that time. Overall good experience will return soon.”
“The atmosphere is very pleasant, good music inside, beautiful terrace and nature area outside, excellent place for teleworking in both cases. The services are excellent, the food is affordable. The basic Ramen is delicious and very garnished, the berry/mango/orange juice/coconut milk smoothie is delicious.”
“The lady was really sweet with us and with kids- she asked questions about our preferences, she was really quick in serving us. The ice-cream very good and no artificial taste. Very good price compared to other places.”
