“My gf and I visited from Ottawa and we're craving Jamaican food. We found their restaurant open especially on New Year's day. We ordered beef patties, oxtail, and goat roti. The patties are absolutely perfect, lots of gravy in the filling and the pastry is fresh. The oxtail with rice and peas is just right, would have appreciated more meat but the flavour was great. The goat roti was also a great choice, lots of meat, and very juicy. We will definitely take another trip to get more food!“
“Wonderful Caribbean restaurant and atmosphere. Food is fresh and very flavorful. Amazing customer service and served with a smile. Can host your private events and cater your food if needed. The price is very affordable and I will definitely be returning.“
“Excellent service, very friendly atmosphere and very delicious food. Had the jerk chicken meal with rice and peas, vegetables and plantain. Samples of some fish cakes were added to my order, very nice gesture. They were very delicious and I especially enjoyed the sauce with it. Highly recommend!“
“Great place for patties ! Worth the price if you buy 12 together they have 3 different ones : chicken/beef/ veggies. Also they got affordable menu with delicious dishes and well portioned.Vegetarian options: Beef patties and other dishes availableParking: Need to park with emergency lights“
“An almost perfect dinner.By nature, man develops fewer thoughts on the reasons for his happiness than for his unhappiness: the first is a green light, the second is a red one. So, although I was struck by the virtuosity of the meal and the graceful harmony of the decor, I replayed in my mind the only negative aspect of my visit: the appearance of detachment in the reception. I would like people to like seeing me, as much as I like seeing others. This desire is not a matter of pride – I am not offended – I only need human warmth. I can count myself well off, however, because I was still in the presence of a wonderful friend who makes every moment more joyful and meaningful.By arriving early on Sunday, we often ensure we are the first customers. This is not necessarily intended, but oh so pleasant! A providential privilege. A room for us, a chef for us, a feeling of freedom and pleasure increased tenfold. The smell of cooking that wafted into our nostrils foreshadowed the treat to come for our palates. As a matter of fact — I mentioned it to you earlier — the soft coconut bread sandwiches were sublime, bursting with flavor, the BBQ pork remaining our favorite, with the jerk chicken following closely behind. Also devoured was a succulent potato salad, off the menu. Am I hallucinating or were the prices incredibly low ($8 for an entrée, $12 for a sandwich) for so much goodness?I offered my compliments to the chef on numerous occasions and my insistence finally bore fruit in the form of a hint of a smile from her. Even if one of the goals of a eulogy is to give the praiser a pleasant emotion through his smiling acceptance, I was not trying to get into his good graces. I simply wanted to express my gratitude for this wonderful moment.I sincerely hope you go there as soon as you have the chance. The delights and ambiance of Lucki Delite reminded me why I fell in love with the Montreal culinary scene.Vegetarian options: Squash sandwichParking: Parking spaces all along Avenue du Parc. Charges based on time.Kid-friendliness: I wouldn't dare say too much, but it's more of a restaurant where you can eat for two.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, plenty of space to move around.“
“If you love homemade comfort food, this is it. It's such a cute place and the food is amazing. The owner came to talk to us, and it just feels like you're in someone house. Made me miss my mom's cooking! The portions are great. We shared everything and still took food home.Service was great and accommodating! Please go! support tour local eateries.Montréal is full of these gems!!“
“Great little spot . Really good jerk chicken and our friends had other dishes . Nice portions and really authentic . People so nice . Mostly an order out or delivery but they have two tables and they are so nice and treated us so well. Just a little stroll through Ndg and found this little “
“The plantains were so soft with crispy edges! We tried as much as we could: fried plantains, chicharon (pork belly with crispy skin), beef, chicken, sausages. All very tasty with the house's garlic mayo and smokey mayo. We also tried the manioc balls filled with chicken/beef and empanadas. Would recommend them to try. The empanadas have a lovely thin and crispy skin and the manioc balls have a soft, crispy texture. We'd recommend clearer menus, but it seems like you can order whatever you want, so long as they have the ingredients. The owner mentioned that even though it says they close at 7pm on Google, to come in to eat so long as we see her there. Lovely new resto to have in the neighborhood!“
“If you're craving a taste of the Caribbean, look no further than TNT Palace. While visiting Montréal, I was craving authentic Caribbean food and discovered a restaurant called TNT Palace. I ordered a mouthwatering Chicken Roti and Stew Chicken with potato salad, and let me tell you, it was a culinary delight from start to finish. The Chicken Roti was a flavorful masterpiece, with tender pieces of chicken enveloped in a perfectly spiced, flaky roti wrap. Each bite was a symphony of spices, with just the right balance of heat and savory goodness. As for the Stew Chicken and potato salad, it was a comforting plate of goodness that warmed both the body and the soul. I was transported to the streets of Trinidad and Tobago, where the aroma of simmering spices fills the air.So if you're looking for a taste of Trinidad that will leave you craving more, head over to TNT Palace. Whether you're a seasoned fan of Caribbean cuisine or a newcomer eager to explore new flavors, you won't be disappointed. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you!“
“Came up from NY for the weekend and found this spot on TikTok. The vibes are good, the people and service were great. The food was amazing no cap. Drinks mixed well, the bartender Kenny is an artist at his craft. Would definitely come back here.“
“Everyone over there are so lovely! From the bartender to the waiter/tress, the food is amazing and so does the cocktail ? Lucky we are that we can go to a 3 in 1 places in Montreal (good service, food and drinks) I recommend this place to everyone!“
“Some dishes are cooked to order!!! Good food, the chef is pationate and pays attention to detail. An over all good dinning experience.Vegetarian options: Any one who knows Jamaican food knows that their veggie options are always delightful.Kid-friendliness: Clean place, french fries and macaroni pie on the menu for the kids to indulge In.“
“the doubles and the caribbean soup and bake are absolutely delicious. my grandma used to make a pot of it and bring us her homemade soup all the time, she is older now and is losing her memory so we haven’t tasted it in a quite a while. i’m confident to say that the soup satisfied my craving tonight thank you!“
“On etait un groupe de 12 et nous avons prit le menu decouverte. C’est un repas de 4 services, absolument TOUT était délicieux. Ca vaut vraiment le prix. La place est conviviale, la musique est bonne, le service etait parfait et le propriétaire chef etait super compréhensif malgré que nous avons eu dès cancellations dernière minute. Nous allons définitivement y retourner.“
“First, nice up portions! If you want AUTHENTIC JAMAICAN FOOD this is the place. The cow foot soup, sweeeeet. King Fish, fresh and nice. Rice, fluffy and delicious. Oxtail, tender clean and not heavy. So flavourful. Let me tell you about the dumplings and Pattie!!!! Crispy and juicy. This food was too good I couldn’t even stop to take pictures of it. Everything was great. Thanks for your service !!! By the way I placed an Uber order, I can only imagine going in person!! <3- Tina .“
“It's one of the best restaurants I've ever had the chance to eat at. The food is a delight, the fusion of West Indian food gives the taste buds a PARTY in my mouth. If I could 11/10 would be my rating.Don't give up, we want more restaurants like this in MTL.“
“Great friendly courteous service I was lucky enough to purchase a couple of Fruit cakes and 3 Jamaican black cakes before they were all scooped up. They are absolutely flavorful, delicious, and the texture is right on and without doubt the best in Quebec . The dozen beef and chicken patties I bought lasted 2 days. Just too good to keep frozen. I'll be returning soon.“
“La déco, le repas, le service tout était super bon/bien. Vraiment vous mangez pour pas cher et c’est super bien préparé. J’y retournerais pour les saveurs du plat et le poulet vraiment bien cuisiner. Ça m’a fait un repas pour deux car ils sont vraiment généreux en riz. C’est une place à faire sur Montréal !! Meilleure adresse de la ville“
“Very quaint establishment with fantastic food and a decent vibe to. When I went there was no music playing, thus the silence was a little off putting. I'd suggest they play some music in the background to help the atmosphere. Staff is very nice and offered good service! The wait for the food was a little lengthy but not unreasonable. Plus, the damn hot sauce they serve is homemade and absolutely delicious with the Shrimp Roti! I will return and I recommend anyone in the area check this corner joint for a small piece of Caribbean culture!“
“Simply the best jerk chicken salad in town, one standout feature is the perfect balance of spicy jerk flavors with fresh, crisp salad ingredients. The tender, flavorful jerk chicken adds a bold kick to the salad, creating a delicious fusion of Caribbean and salad flavors. I drive 45 min each time to go pick it up .. worth every minute ..“
“Read some bad reviews but I decided to ignore them. I’m glad I did because the ox tail dish was amazing. Yes the place could use a bit of work but if you’re there to enjoy the decor you’ll be disappointed. Give them a try and talk to them like they are human. They laugh and smile too :) I’ll definitely be going back to try the other dishes.“
“Visited here on a return trip with my 14yr old to show him my go to spot for patties and Rock cake back in the 90's. Sadly though the patties aren't the same anymore but I'm happy to say the rock cake is just as good as I remember, you can still smell the aroma of them baking in back of the store just like I remember as a kid growing up. This is a must stop for me to grab a few packs of rock cake to take back to Toronto.“
“Sooo good! Food was delicious, staff were super nice and helpful, and the restaurant itself is beautiful with great vibes. Everything we got was amazing, but I especially recommend the griot and pork shank. Note about the pork shank though—it says to share for 2 but it’s a big portion and quite rich (hard to tell from the picture). I think it’s good to share between 3-4 people if you get some tapas as well. Loved this place!!“
“I randomly walked in a few days ago and was served exceptionally well. The ambiance is very warm and wholesome. The food was very delicious. I would highly recommend, especially if you're into Caribbean food. I wish them the best. Places like these deserve it.“
“Simple and straight forward. 1 or 2 tables, but I always get my chicken patties to go at their counter, and have at home. Always greeted with a smile and friendly service. I get 6 at a time for a great price and tasty meal. The best patties !!!“
“what fantastic food. great portions. big flavors. but homestyle at the same time. got the oxtail and jerk chicken to share-- both were satisfying. environment is very warm and cozy and easy to have a chat in even when its full. counter service but food is worth it.“
“Ambiance kitch a souhait, pour mon plus grand plaisir j'ai fait un bon dans les années 80, l'odeur de vieille maison, ça sans la vieille cuisine où on popote de la bonne bouffe traditionnelle, les portions sont énormes, pas beaucoup de choix mais au moins cest bon, on y retournera avec plaisir.“
“I was passing through the Laval intersection and I couldn't miss it. I had a kole rice dish with BBQ chicken. I added extra plantains. Everything was PURE delicious, I ate it all! The only downside is that the bananas are very thin, but besides that, I really liked it! I highly recommend!?“
“I called to place an order for the soup. The sever was a bit rude on the phone and responding in a harsh way. They told me it would be ready in 15 minutes, but still had to wait extra time when I got there. Then paid 25$ for a soup that was not even filled to the middle of the bowl. I would advise anyone to save their money and go somewhere else.“
“Best hot sauce in Montreal! Delicious roti, jerk, and doubles!Someday, I will try the oxtail stew and the breadfruit roti. But when I walk through that door, all I'm ever thinking is, "goat roti with LOTS of that magic orange sauce!"“
“When I say I crave this food deadly since eating here I mean it. We had the jerk wings and the jerk poutine. There were probably more curds than fries in the poutine, what more can you ask for? The chicken wings were huge. The jerk spices were amazing. Will deffinetly keep recommending this place and we will be back soon! Literally drooling over it as I write this.“
“This is as close as it gets as the food from Trinidad. We'll be going back for sure. If you know about west indian food, you'll be pleased that you can find a properly spiced meal in Montreal. Doubles, chickpeas, dhalpouri, goat meat and more with a little very hot spice sauce to go with it. (On the side for those who don't like it too hot)“
“Definitely Ordering Again!!!This was my first Creole Cuisine experience and I will be coming for many more.I ordered the Large Griot which was rich in flavour and tender. I thoroughly enjoyed the rice that came with the pork. My only drawback is the pasta salad, which I didn't feel went with the meal.Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options availableParking: There is parking nearby, but the restaurant is situated on a pretty busy street“
“Excellently prepared and fresh, authentic Haitian food! Highly recommend for those who like to try new things!! My Mediterranean palate was completely satisfied here. The Lalo (Jews Mallow) with rice and the fried red snapper were my favorite dishes!“
“The curry chicken was a little under seasoned. I’m of Caribbean descent and look forward to more flavor. Salt helped as it was fine to begin with just not delicious. I asked for passion fruit juice and received mango. It was delicious but I had a taste for passion. Big portions.“
“If you're looking for an incredible Jamaican dining experience in Montreal, look no further than this restaurant. The food is truly authentic! Chef Lloyd and his staff are some of the friendliest people you'll meet. Trust me, it's hands down one of my absolute favorites! I highly recommend the Brown Stew Snapper!!!“
“If there’s a better goat roti in town, then I haven’t found it yet - tasty, tender and generous! ‘Stumbled on this place by accident but will surely be back within a week to try some other dishes. Plus, the lady there is super kind and welcoming and there’s parking right in front.“
