“From the name I was expecting something more chic. Small neighborhood pizzeria. Very good pizza. The service looks a bit like a Subway. Start at the counter with a few tables. They bring your order to the table.I will probably return knowing the type of catering they do.P.s. the owners are foreigners who do NOT speak French.“

“Passing through this area and we were feeling a little peckish..wowww what an incredible culinary delight and we ate a pulled pork sandwich and a Burger garnished in an incredible way, for both the taste in the mouth was incredible. I'm going to go back to this town just to eat there again, it's worth the detour.“
“Driving along Highway 17 on my way to Orleans, Ottawa, I had a sudden hunger. Ahh, just another greasy food place. I ordered a hamburger and shake, nice service by the way, and got into my car before opening the box. First reaction, wow! Thick patty, fresh sliced tomato and onions, lettuce and, this is too big to eat while driving. Delicious all the way through. The shake was good, the hamburger amazing and beautifully put together. This is a place where I'll plan to stop at, during my next trip to Ottawa. Of course, I can't tell you about their fries, or the rest of their menu, but just the hamburger- AAA1.“

“Food was good basically fry truck fare. Due to it being on the main drag through Alfred and only having street parking it can be a bit difficult to get to. There is an ATM inside but as of our trip it eas out of order so keep in mind it is Cash only.“
“Ive only been here twice because I live an hour away but its becoming a tradition to stop in every summer while passing through to QC for HondaFest. Super friendly service, have affordable rates and delicious ice cream! Best Bubblegum in all of Ontario! Not in rotation; always stocked! Typically one of the hardest flavours to find. 10/10 highly recommend! Can't miss the little blue building!“

“Bistro Montebello is the village’s well-kept secret. All the dishes are absolutely excellent, the portions are generous and the service, always pleasant and courteous, is quite fast. This is the restaurant frequented by the locals. They make the best wood-fired pizza I've had in a long time. Sometimes I take the detour just for that. The place often looks empty - because the small dining room at the front of the restaurant is usually closed and will only be opened when additional space is needed. This is the only “error” I find in them. Otherwise, as soon as you walk inside, you are directed to the back of the restaurant and every time, it's almost a full house.Parking: There is a large parking space across the street from the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Yes, it's a decidedly family-oriented restaurant, but quiet.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a small access ramp outside. Otherwise, the restaurant is accessible on one level.“
