“Great place in Old Montreal to rest and have a coffee and a bite to eat. Loved the music selection that had a 60s and 70s vibe which played quietly in the background so conversation was not inhibited. Food was great. In a lovely old building that has an eclectic feel with the decor, that is inviting. Thoroughly recommend!!“

“J'ai visité ce restaurant sans aucune attente pour un diner alors que j'étais dans le coin. Quelle découverte! J'ai pris une soupe avec du porc, suggérée par la serveuse (qui était super gentille et nous conseillait vraiment bien). Le porc était si tendre que je le coupais avec mes baguettes. La souper était tellement gouteuse. Des saveurs que je n'avais jamais expérimentées et tout cela dans un petit resto super sympathique. Les prix sont plus que raisonnables. Honnêtement, j'ai juste hâte de retourner dans le coin pour y manger à nouveau et essayer d'autres plats sur leur menu. Une superbe découverte. Dommage que j'habite aussi loin! ;)“

“What a AMAZING EXPERIENCE. Thomas and Steven have procured some of the finest things to offer. We ordered The King Afternoon Tea. Everything offered was completely delicious, and made in house. I have food allergies and they even made a few changes for me. Hibiscus’s based tea from Fortnum and Mason was they perfect compliment to scones, mini quiche, beetroot mimosa egg and other sweet and savory treats. I even iced my tea. Service was beyond GOOD. Give yourself a HIGH TEA moment.“

I had the truffle Benedict, I subbed the bacon for smoked salmon - I love eggs, Benedict and this was a nice version of it. My partner had the Shakshuka royale, which was so good. Make sure to ask about dietary restrictions - we were told all ingredients were listed, although I’m not sure if that was the case for the Shaksuka, pretty sure there was dairy despite it not being listed, my partner did get an upset stomach afterwards. On the bright side, they were very much enjoying the meal during! This platter was clearly very special and popular.“

“Started last Friday’s day off with a stop at the amazing Cafe dei Campi. Fully veganized Italian pastries and small pizzas. Soups and salads too but I stuck to the Italian specialties. Hazelnut filled tortellini melt in your mouth pastries. Amarettis and Biscotti. The essential Italian cafe’s big espresso machine which makes the perfect double espresso with the layer of crema and their cappuccino with perfect foam. Accompanied with a flaky delicious cornetto, it felt like heaven. Much chatting with my friend and a necessary second cornetto and espresso completed our visit by closing time. We had lucked out with a table. Had a great rest of the day that right from the start, arriving at the cafe there was a couple with their little boy wearing a Metallica t-shirt. Of course I had to comment, he was so cute and responsive to my speaking to him. And found out he’s a true fan of heavy metal music, this beautiful 4 year old boy named Sandro. “Cute coffee shop/ coffee roaster. They have a huge variety but the coffee is very pricey. I asked a few questions and the person at the cash was rude and told me all the prices varied and didn’t offer to help me find anything. I think some price tags on the bags could be helpful, as only the bags of 1 brand around 40$ + have prices listed.
I ended up picking a 30$ 350g bag, a bit pricey but is very good coffee; worth the price but not necessarily my daily coffee budget. If you need a specialty coffee this is the spot.
They have a nice seating area, great location next to the canal to take coffee roaster go for a walk.“

“This is a very good boulangerie located along Mont-Royal Ave East that is open from 7am to 6pm daily. They have a fair sized indoor seating area, many visitors seem to pop in for morning take-away. There was a short queue when we arrived 7.30am midweek. You'll find a nice range of mostly French style breads, tarts, pastries and bakery products. We particularly liked their quiche and almond filled croissants. Coffees served up on the day were very good as well. This seemed like a great boulangerie, one we'd like visit regularly if we lived in the area. Would gladly revisit next time in Montreal.“

“We really wanted to try a Montreal bagel style, and here you can get one with salmon + cream cheese. If we definitely prefer NY bagel style, it was generously filled (salmon was excellent) and staff very friendly !
They do salads, coffee and other morning stuff.“

“I’ve passed by this little ice cream shop so many times but there’s always a huge line, finally got to try it! I ordered chocolate with amaretto and vanilla with raspberry, and both were super creamy and tasted homemade. Not overly sweet, just the way I like it!

My partner got the vanilla milkshake and loved it too. Highly recommend!“
