Columbus Café is a coffee shop focused on fast service with an acceptable level of consistency. The coffee is great, with specific praise for the espresso and the simply filter coffee, recommended with little cream and little honey in a ceramic cup. They also have good London fog and a great Matcha. The menu is extensive, offering items like a favourite Shake de l’Ours and delicious Raspberry White Chocolate. They provide gluten-free sandwiches, which is appreciated. The staff are consistently described as friendly, welcoming, and great, with wonderful service. The ambiance is perfect for relaxing or working on a laptop, with lots of space and good music. However, a strict policy banning dogs, even for quick grab-and-go orders, has disappointed some regular customers. While throughput is a focus, some freshness can be compromised. Overall, it is a fantastic place to visit.
